I was gone for three months…

So, what happened?

Basically, a combination of things.

First things first, University is time consuming. Especially so when you’re in a competitive major—

I didn’t make it into the major I picked sadly, so I had to scramble and focus on changing my major to something else. I’ve done it, but not without a price.

Between being rejected twice and rapid desert weather changes, it’s had an effect on my mental drive to make art. I fell (and still am) in a bit of a Depressive mood. The slump is really only just now improving, but I still may be slow to post. Sorry. I’m gonna see where this road (and mood high) takes me.

On the brighter side, I am also in the process of Moving! that’s also played a part in me not being online a lot. Gotta focus on packing.

What about this blog?

Basically, I’m gonna try and continue where I left off. I’ve got a few posts I said I was gonna make, as well as some unfinished ones on procreate I’ll try and revive. I may do some fanfic writing here and there as well. Pretty much business as usual.

I’ve already said this and I’ll say it again. I’m grateful for everyone who likes my art, and everyone who I chat with on here. I really appreciate all the friends I’ve made on SAH tumblr. Thank you.

Oh, and one last thing…

Imma go ahead and give this a try…see how I feel about it.

Update on The Rod that Blocks the Lightning given the recent news

I will not be stopped by this, lol. It might become more canon divergent, but that’s just fine, I think.

I might wait a month or two to see any other news about it to see if I can glean any ideas on where it might be going.

I am completely exhausted from trying to move to another city while still working (and my job is restructuring so we all know how that can go) and driving back and forth to transport items and deep clean. So, I might focus on a few shorter Great General Mighty Wings fanfics before getting back into Lighting Rod.
