Sometimes it’s interesting sharing a brain with people who have a completely different area of expertise as you.

I was thinking tonight about how despite all Dumbledore’s flaws, he did the best he could for me, and made it possible for me to go to school.

And Charlie immediately pipes up with “no he didn’t???” and explained why - werewolves are wolves and if he’d given me proper (or even decent) enrichment, I wouldn’t have suffered so much. But he just sent me off to an empty house and created an urban myth.

harry potter fictive culture is getting very tired of people saying that engaging with the series is supporting the author. Including saying it to our face. Not sorry actually, we aren't having about a dozen system members stop being themselves.

One of the best things about having so many harry potter fictives is the random fun facts we get.

Such as: Lupin is trans and chose is name after Sirius suggested it. He thinks it’s hilarious that he did that and people still didn’t figure it out. He went and told his parents his new name and why he chose it, and his father was furious but his mother burst out laughing and wheezed out “My maiden name is Howell”

yesterday george fronted on his own for hours the last time he fronted on his own lasted a few seconds before he had to come find me we’ve been a little unhealthily close for most of our lives because of the whole ‘twins in a big family’ thing and we’ll always be close enough that some people will think it’s weird but yesterday was a huge step for georgie, because it means he CAN front on his own. he proved to himself that no, he DOESN’T need to be with me every second, he CAN talk on his own, and I don’t disappear when he can’t hear me he also figured out a lot of WHY everything was so scary and overwhelming to him without me, which made it a lot less scary (still overwhelming though). -fred

It’s weird to me how nearly every fanart or edit of Bill that’s supposed to be how he was described in the books seems to take “long hair” as “chin length”.

Bill has barely cut his hair since they graduated.
