Frankie goes to the beach! We spent some time during the bank holiday to do a Beach Clean Up! The tides bring in small pieces of plastic pollution and thousands of cigarette ends. These can only be picked up by hand. Micro plastics are consumed by our marine life and birds as they often mistake it for food! Go into the world and do well, but more importantly... Do good. Our plastic patrol team are out this weekend in full force ready for the imminent litter that will be left on our beaches and gardens with this weekends hot weather. ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ This Sunday 9th Aug. We’re starting at Boscombe pier’s beach 11am and working our way up through the gardens to litter-pick for a few hours to try and make a small difference. Due to government guidelines we are limiting our groups to just six people for now, we’ll let you know when we can welcome more changemakers to ours.💚🤞 Anyone can start a litter-pick with a few friends!
