How can i identify top shelf bud by just looking at it?

use your 5 senses

*nose- 

if its indica you can identify it by the strong earthy tones

 if its sativa you can identify it by its strong fruity citrus tones.

try to smell to see if you pick up any hints of mold . if so thats not topshelf!

if you are smacked in the face with a nice smell. thats top shelf.

*sight- 

look for THC crystals and tightness of buds.

 make sure it has no water leaves, and a god trim job.

is it dull green ? dried out and when you crack open the nug theres no smell? ditch it! its not topshelf life.

is it mostly a thick stem running through it if so thats not topshelf.

*touch-

sticky 

not dry

dense 

not wet    

*taste-

do you taste a chemical on your palate when you smoke? if so it wasnt properly flushed!

does the taste match what you smell? if so that is top shelf!

its considered a “smooth smoke” if you dont choke.

Indica is more if a body "high" you get that couch lock. Its strains such as GDP kush and OG strains. Sativa. Is more of a cerebral "high" its funtionable , to some its like a shot of expresso and its a cannabis strain that wakes you up
