Blake’s outfit really got on my nerves and after like year I finally decided to let me just....redesign it for shits & giggles.

Explanation: So I wanted to stick to the rules of RWBY & make her outfit consistent with using her Volume 1 outfit as an example.

So in volume 1 she has this French allude inspire coat with sharp ends & I wanted to keep that part of the look but long & with fur edges. I actually do like how Ein Lee made made the inside of the coat purple & I wanted to keep that.

The next part is her catsuit. So in volume one, she’s wearing white shorts with zippers & a white crop top. I decided that since the coat covers the upper part the cat suit her legs really need to stick out against it & since it’s basically her shorts, but longer I decided to keep it how it was, just make it white.

I kept the knee pads & her boots black because she’s the black character & needs more black. I’m also determine to remind people know that her secondary color is purple not white. White is her third color. Which is why I kept the purple of Einlee’s design of Blake’s shoes into my own. I also made her fur that ugly manve purple she was wearing in volume 4 through 6. The grays and the gold ARE an accent color to her. (The gray in Ein Lee’s design should have never taken up so much of it like girl wtf.) So I tried to minimize it by just leaving it at the zippers. However since she’s dating Yang now I guess I wanted to add more gold/yellow to her outfit. The gold chain on her back though is suppose to represent Sun since both Yang & Sun came in & change Blake’s life for the better. Also I left the belt white because I didn’t want her back to look completely back. But yeah.

In a perfect AU, Blake cuts her hair during her fight with Adam. Not during the Atlas montage or whatever.

I really do want to believe that heterophobia isn’t real. Like there’s no way anybody could actually hate heterosexual because if you’re smart & you know your queer history, you would know why.

Occasionally, I see shit about people saying, “Ughh straight tik tok is so boring,” or “Straight couples are weird for destroying something valuable that belongs to their partners” & you know that’s cool because it’s all fun & games. Lightful teasing. Nothing too serious since straights also say we’re bad at math & other dumb jokes like that, so yeah nothing harmful.

But then I do meet people in which gay is their whole entire personality & they actually get upset at anything heterosexual. They only want things to be gay & remain gay. (Even have some biphobia tendencies) Like girls can’t be friends no no they HAVE TO BE girlfriends. Boys show affection? Must be gay. They literally cringe like homophobes do when they see a healthy straight couple. They only want gay friends, want gay couples, gay clubs, etc. I understand if you want a safe space, but when you actually make it your personality & start to hate things hetero........it starts to make me wonder if heterophobia really is just a myth.

I’ve always heard of this Queen Tsundere chick on the internet for like ever & I’m finally watching Toradora on Netflix. And here are some of my opinions. Feel free to ignore because this post will be talking about female abusers & their behaviors.

I get that this anime is a pretty old one. It was made back in 2008 so over 12 years ago. I also understand that back in the 2000s we let a lot of problematic shit slide & this anime is one of them. But it’s 2020, we as a society (I say this lightly) know better & therefore should at least attempt to act better.

With that being said, let’s start making future tsundere characters without them having abusive traits. The term means someone who acts tough, aggressive, & sometimes violent but is actually a sweetheart & shows it later on. From now on I strongly believe we should exclude the violence & violent acts that are alluded to abusive behaviors, out. Because characters can be aggressive & rude but are actually nice based on of their actions without violence & that alone should be classified as a tsundere. Abusive behaviors should not. This Queen of Tsundere or whatever is actually a fucking bitch & abusive.

I haven’t finished watching the full anime, apparently this Louis character makes her look like a saint idk yet but y’all abuse is abuse.

i ship freezerburn as well and i really enjoy their dynamic too, but when you said that talking to weiss was the first time yang's ever opened up about her past, i think you forgot that yang's opened up about her past before to blake in the earlier episodes. i still really love that moment between weiss and yang though! it shows how much they've grown and i love them!! they're so cute together

Thank you for responding to me! I’m glad you ship freezerburn! I actually didn’t forget. Yang opened up to Blake about her past about her mother and how Raven left her, but she never went into further detail of the ramifications of Raven’s leaving and, more importantly, Summer’s death.

We know that Yang was deeply hurt over Raven’s leaving. But we always seem to forget that the person that really raised Yang was Summer. It’s implied that before Summer’s death, Yang didn’t know really know about Raven. This makes me think that she thought Summer was her mother and was probably close to her (ie calling her “Super mom”). After Summer died, both Ruby and Tai were very torn up over the death. Yang probably felt that she was the one that had to keep things together. I think this is one of the reasons (not the main reason) Yang began searching for Raven. In a child’s mind, her family is falling apart. When mom was around, the family was happy. If I find my mom, we can be happy again (Or I’m just reading too much child psychology lately)

With Blake, Yang just opened up about how she was searching for her mom. How she almost got herself killed doing so and how she had to slow down. We learn that she’s still searching, but not letting it consume her. But Yang mostly talks about Raven’s leaving. She only briefly touches on Summer’s death.

But with Weiss, Yang opened up about her feelings of Summer’s death and having no mother figure. How she had to step in to help raise Ruby. Before, she always seemed happy that she was close to Ruby. She always looks out for her sister. She tries pushing Ruby out of her shell, she left home to find her sister, she even faced her mother all for her little sister. And not once has she complained about it. Her conversation with Weiss is the first time we really see any discontent with her raising.

Yang opened up to Weiss about her feelings. Yang opened up about how her family (not including Raven in this because she didn’t raise Yang) was actually much more broken than we assume and how Yang felt that she was the one holding it together.

I may have gone into essay mode there. But to finish this like an essay I will say; in conclusion, yes, Yang opened up to Blake about her past first. But Weiss was the first that she opened up to about her feelings of the past.
