Have to admit I really like the look of the main character. I like that it borrows so much from Mario 64, hopefully they can smooth out some of the animations as they don’t appear to be as fluid as 64 was.

If I recall correctly dark elves are from Nordic myth, they're subterranean with a whole darkness thing going on, there might be something about them actually being dwarves and I don't think they're meant to look specifically elf like either. I don't think Dark Elves are anywhere apart from Norse and fiction, so it's either Norse myth books or reading Thor comics

it’s rather amusing (and frustrating) identifying as a dark elf and seeing people on a particular IRC channel say really bizarre and unsubstantiated things about dark elves like ‘a dark elf is basically an elf corrupted by daemonic energies’.
