take care for me
i held his hand tightly not wanting to let go. tears ran down my face, falling down my chin onto our hands. he gave a weak smile and tried to sit up.
“no. stay like that. dont sit up, dont waste your energy. . .”
i leaned down to him and kissed his cold, chapped lips. i had to make this one count. i had to make it last. but he pulled away. his tears softly fell on his pillow. he began to get paler and paler. i sat on the bed and sat him on my lap. he lightly hugged my torso. i kissed the crown of his head. the room was quiet, only filled with our quiet sniffs.
“babyboy, take care for me. . . please?”
i nodded my head, knowing it was time. i didnt want him to go. i didnt want this to end.
“i love you. i always will. even if im not here anymore. please, live your life at the fullest. do it for me.”
the room was quiet and i buried my head into his shoulder. his body went cold. i hugged him tight and mumbled.
“i love you too. . .”
