I’ve mentioned @whyarethishappen before and said that Harrison Ford should watch out. These picture offer further evidence of how great an Indy she is. I particularly love the image at the top, where she’s nailed the classic Indy pose. And the snowy location adds a lovely sense of rugged adventure.

From Director Steven Spielberg loves a good bit of Spielberg-centric cosplay, and this is one of the best examples I’ve ever seen.

The Club Obi Wan Dancers is a cosplay group who dress as Willie Scott and her dancers, and perform the Anything Goes sequence from the start of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Check out their performance at the 2015 Dragon Con Masquerade in the above video to see them in action.

The group’s Facebook page reads as follows:

“This was a DragonCon masquerade project two years in the making… It looks simple, but the dresses, silver tuxedos and top hats were more difficult to construct and fit than they look!

"All of the sewing patterns and tutorials for the group were outlined by Kathy KayDee with assistance from Sandra Lagnese. The choreography was broken down and taught virtually via video tutorials to the group by Kathy Kay Dee, with additional assistance from Kat Peng at rehearsals (Kathy is not a pro, she last performed in a dance company at the age of 13).”

Ashlee, who plays Willie, made her own (incredible) dress and you can read the details of how she did it on her blog.
