Dear DU Network, I have been trying to reach you with all fail or ignored attempts of service. No 1: About 1 year ago I cancelled DU. I was meant to get a refund for over charging me for +150aed. it was approved but never got issued to me. Even after 5000 follow ups! No 2: I have joined DU Business again 7 days ago on same number. Connected the network. Was said within 24hrs i will be able to get on the web. 24hrs later i called and was told my account is yet to be approved and they dont know why. Even tho i already received the mobile and sim. Weird right!!! What a crack in a so called quality company. To many loop holes that kills consumers. 72hrs later i visited the branch and was told they tried to call me few times to tell me the network will take longer than expected. Uhm..... How did you try to call me if you know that you have cut my number 72hrs prior. And even tho they have my whatsapp number and email adress these methods were ignored for communication and instead calling a number they have cut off was accepted and redeemed a valid and ethical business practice to be called. Weird hey! I informed them i have people arriving at the airport and they need to call me for the correct timings and i was told for sure before the next day it will be connected and they will whatsapp me by the same night of 72hrs. So it was approved. I responded to the whatsapp the network is still not working. And still i cant receive or make calls but emergency. i have missed the people in the airport as to this delays.... Anyways! Weekend passed and another 72 hrs have gone as well. We are on day 7. No network, no service, no calls and absolutely no nothing from DU and not even a follow up email or whatsapp from them to try and help me till now besides from friends who it shpuld not be expected from. So my question to you today is DU Network. Can i cancel my plan and change to Etisalat? Where is my AED 150? And if i signed up and you said no upfront payment then why do you charge AED 50 as upfront payment to the first bill!
