Can’t wait to spend the next month reading every single one of these!
Hey so what are your fave Field Trip Trope™️ fics?
Hi!
Here:
1. Constant Internal [Spider] Screaming: Semi-Connected Scenes from a Graduating Senior’s Life by isaDanCurtisproduction When Peter’s Teacher announces that his Graduating Class’s Senior Trip is going to be to Stark Industries, the place where Peter has an internship, and where he spends so much of his free time, he is… less than enthused. No one believes his Internship is real and frankly, he just doesn’t want to deal with it, but between May and Mr. Stark, he doesn’t really think he’s going to get much of a choice.
2. Bullies, Interns, and Secret Things by CuriousClockwork Two and half years have passed since Peter Parker donned the Spider-man suit and made a name for himself. A lot has happened to him and the other Avengers in that time and as the middle of Peter’s senior school year arrives, Midtown High School gets a surprise invitation for their senior students to take a tour of Stark Industries.
3. the rumours about peter parker by tempestaurora “No way,” Flash said, when he heard. “Stark Industries doesn’t even hire high schoolers.”Peter shrugged, schooling his face to remain unbothered. “Yet here I am.”
4. Mr Stark Enough For You? (another field trip fic bcs we dont have enough) by Livinei Peter isn’t worried because he thinks Tony won’t say yes, he’s worried because he’s sure Tony will. And he’s not sure how he feels about having his entire class waltzing around the place where he spends practically more time than in his own home, where he has his own room, and where he regularly eats Lucky Charms with one of the most influential men in the country, in his pajamas. Not that they’d ever know any of that.
5. It’s Above My Clearance Level by tsk In which Peter’s class goes on a field trip to Stark Tower, and no one knows why this kid has such high clearance.
6. When Tomorrow Comes by stellaisnotamermaid Peter Parker was just a normal kid—well, sort of. If you excluded his extracurricular activities and his incredible brain, he was a regular kid. Until, that is, his aunt died and he became an orphan (again). But is he really as alone as he thinks he is?
7. a recipe for disaster | a field trip to stark tower by stxvetony where peter parker’s decathlon team takes a field trip to stark tower.throw in an overprotective dad, a team of scary but immature superheroes and one flash thompson → certainly sounds like a recipe for disaster.peter will never be able to survive this field trip to hell.
8. No Reason To Go by Pokegeek151 When the location of the chemistry field trip is revealed to be none other than Peter’s home of Stark Tower, Peter decides to skip the awkwardness and spend the time working on his own projects.
thnx!♥

“5 more minutes, Dad”
Peter was in the lab working with Tony on some new upgrades. It was the weekend so May said it was fine if he stayed over. Peter was focused on his webshooters when Tony said “it’s 5:23 you might want to head off to bed.”
Peter had his own room incase he had to spend the night there. Peter didn’t want to go to bed, he didn’t get very many nights like this due to school and Spider-Man. “30 more minutes? Please?” Peter pleaded. He really didn’t want the night…er…morning to end.
“If i were to let you stay up any later Aunt hottie will kill me” Tony loved these nights too, but he would rather it end than deal with May.
“Fine” Peter gave in knowing he wouldn’t he wouldn’t get far. “Goodnight, Mr. Stark” and he walked out of the lab and to his room.
When Peter lie down on his bed he realized just how tired he actually was. He had to get up at 8:00 am so he knew he would be exhausted, but it was worth it.
When Peters alarm went off he was so tired he didn’t hear it, even with his enhanced hearing. Tony got tired of hearing his alarm so he went in his room to turn it off and wake him up. “Peter” Tony said, barely above a whisper.
Peter didn’t budge so Tony said “Peter” a little louder this time with a light shake of Peters arm.
“5 more minutes, dad” Peter said as he was opening his eyes. It took him a second to realize what he said, but when he did he freaked out. I mean yeah, he thought of Mr. Stark as a father figure but what if he doesn’t think that. What if he thinks he’s weird for saying that and doesn’t want to be his mentor anymore. So many thoughts were racing through his mind right now, he had no idea how he was gonna react.
Tony, on the other hand, thought it was adorable. He smirked, he was glad Peter thought of him that way. “Get up kiddo, you slept through your alarm.”
“Uh, ok, Mr. Stark.” Still freaking out, he got up.
“I made pancakes for breakfast, along with bacon and eggs. Take a shower, get dressed and meet me in the kitchen.”
“Ok, Mr. Stark, be right there.”
During breakfast Tony brought up what had happened and said he wouldn’t mind if Peter called him that. Peter was worried at first but relieved when Tony said it.
“Ok,” Peter smiled. “Dad”

Tony: You’re standing on a bridge next to track. A trolley car is about to hit 5 strangers, but you can throw someone, stopping the trolley and only killing 1 person. What do you do?
Ned: I would let the trolley keep going. I don’t want someones death to me fault.
MJ: I would push him. If I had the option to save 1 or 5 people, I would save 5 even if that means I’m responsible for that 1 death.
Peter: I would jump, saving all 6 people.
Tony, concerned: WE’VE TALKED ABOUT THIS!

Yesss omg I freaking love this it’s so amazing written
Fight like a Parker
Summary: During a mission with the Avengers, Peter takes a nasty hit, slipping in and out of consciousness.
“Pete?”
“Where’s the kid? Where’s the kid?”
“Spider-man?”
“What the hell is that thing?”
Peter rubbed his forehead with the back of his hand, not registering that his mask had been blown off somehow. He groaned and rolled to his side, clutching his belly as he trembled. His entire body felt as if it were too easy to break and bend, his head pounded intensely.
His hearing returned first, he could faintly make out the team shouting behind him. Loud explosions, cursing from either side, a repulsor going on and off and on again. Pete winced, his ears quaking as all the sounds began to crescendo. Everything seemed to build, multiplying at an impossible rate.
Until silence. Pete hadn’t realized that he was in a fetal position, his still shaky hands clamped over his ears. He managed to open an eye, and then another.
Beneath him was silver cloth, pizza stains, and popcorn kernels beneath and around him. The floor was an old tile, shoes and socks littered over it.
“Morning, Pete.”
Peter widened his eyes and sat up immediately. He blinked rapidly, and looked over his shoulder. A familiar face shared the couch, eating straight from a popcorn bag, a smirk on his face, shades hanging from the collar of his “May the Fourth be with You” tee.
“Uncle Ben?” the tears couldn’t help but be shed. “H-how? How are you here?” Peter embraced him, ignoring the pain in his head and body. Ben’s gentle hand rubbed Pete’s aching back.
“What happened to you, kiddo? You’ve got some nasty licks on you,” Ben held Pete by his chin, turning it side to side, and examined the bruised and bloodied profile of his nephew.
Peter couldn’t care less. He simply held Ben as long as he could, his weeping turned into a weak laugh as he looked up at his uncle.
“Is that Flash kid messing with you?” Ben sternly said. He frowned and took off his glasses, rubbing them clean. “I never liked him or his father.” He admitted, before placing his glasses back on.
“Come home,” Peter said in a single breath. “May misses you. I showed her a picture I found of you as a kid the other day and she went on about you for the rest of the night.” He explained, looking down for an instance. He hated seeing her in so much pain. He hated that even when he shared it, none of them seemed to get better.
“I’m already here, Peter.”
“Uncle Ben, you’re not. That’s the problem. You left too soon,” Peter croaked. “You never got to see how much everything changed around here.” He wiped his eyes. His lip quivered.
Ben got close to Peter. Inches apart.
“Pete,” Ben began. “I’m here.”
Peter gasped as his eyes flew open, his vision settled on a figure looming over him. He shook his head, the pain returning in a powerful wave. His stomach felt as if something had been forcefully ripped from within him. He held his hand up, dodging the bright light that shone over his eyes.
“I’m here, Peter.”
“Uncle Ben?” Peter slurred, leaning forward, squinting his eyes. He fell back and groaned in pain. He held his side and clenched his fist, the burning sensation only seemed to build higher and higher. The figure before him pushed him down gently by the shoulder.
“Easy kid, we’re taking you home. You just stay with me now. Can you do that?” Tony responded, trying to find the severity of the kid’s condition out. He scanned using the device in his wrist and read the projection and bit his lip, before getting ready to lift Peter.
“C-come home,” Peter whispered. His eyesight began to fail him once more. He blinked sluggishly. A meek groan escaped his lips as his body went limp. He watched as the collateral seemed to lose focus all around him. Even the sound of Tony begging him to keep his eyes open slipped further and further from Peter’s grasp.
“Wake up, sleepy head.”
Peter lifted his head from his pillow. He was met with May and Ben’s gentle smiles, a cake in their hands. Peter looked at the melted frosting which dripped onto May’s palms. Words etched into the cake read “Happy Birthday, Peter!”
“Oh, look at him. He’s all beaten and bruised, oh my boy!” May exclaimed. She dropped the cake onto Ben’s hands and shooed him out. “Go on, let me talk to him. Go on!”
Uncle Ben shrugged and stood up. He jokingly nearly slipped, pretending as if he were going to drop the cake on the ground. After May delivered a sour expression, Ben winked at Peter, before finally making his way out and shutting the door to his room. All that was left was a trail of red frosting on the less than clean floors.
Peter shook his head.
“May it’s nothing,” he began. He sat upright, facing her directly. The weight of the bed felt lighter without both Ben and May sitting there… a feeling he knew all too well.
“Honey, you need to fight,” May spoke softly. She grabbed Peter’s hand, completely glossing over the suit he was wearing. “You have to fight because you’re a Parker. Parker’s get hit a lot. We get the worst luck, you know this.” She explained, eyes glued onto her nephew.
“But damn it, if we don’t quit,” she shook her head before pulling Peter into a hug. “Promise me you’ll keep fighting, sweetheart. You won’t let anything hold you back. Come home to me.”
Peter held her, hugging her only half as tight. He was lost for words. He shut his eyes, tears welling again. “Ben’s not coming back,” was all he could manage. He buried his face in May’s shoulders, letting it all out.
“I know,” May hushed him. “Just keep fighting.”
“Keep fighting, Pete, we’re almost home,” Mr. Stark’s voice was taut. He held down the wounds on Peter’s stomach with one hand, propped the back of his head with another.
Peter felt much weaker than before. He was fading quickly and he knew it. He lifted his hand, reaching for Tony, a tiny smile formed.
“There you are,” Tony sighed. Relief flooded over him. He wasn’t doing too well either. He looked as if he had taken on a pissed off raccoon in a fight and lost. Cuts and deep purple spots covered his face. He had a black eye and his nose had dried blood at its base.
It appeared as though they’d made it to the back of some vehicle. It was too bumpy, too muggy, too cramped, to be the jet. A large figure sat in the driver’s seat, a smaller figure in the passenger.
“Jesus, Steve, you trying to go over every pot hole?”
“There’s no road, Clint. Sorry this isn’t a luxury route,” Steve retorted, looking away from wherever it was they were driving through.
Tony rubbed the back of Peter’s head with his thumb, playing with the soft brown curls. The motion helped Peter relax some, despite the feeling that he was slipping, the pain had only grown worse.
“Everything h-hurts, Mr. Stark,” Peter whimpered softly. Each time he blinked, his eyes stayed shut for a moment longer.
“I know kid, but you’re doing great. Just give me all you got,” Tony reassured him. “Give me all you got.”
Peter closed his eyes to blink again, but did not find the strength to open them again.
“Give me all you got!”
Ben put his hands in the air. He turned slowly, peering over his shoulder cautiously. He dropped his bags, and slowly stepped away from the man who held him at gunpoint.
Peter stood behind him. He looked at the brick walls, the cold alley. The dumpster with spray paint splashed on its molded exterior. It was all the same. Peter knew this place. He looked at his Uncle.
“I said give me all you got! I-I won’t repeat myself, man!” The mugger cried out. He shook his revolver at Ben, panic pulled his voice thin.
Peter tugged on Ben. “Go.” He pleaded. Ben didn’t respond. Peter’s heart sank. His Uncle Ben couldn’t see him. He couldn’t hear him.
“Listen, I’ve got a kid. It’s his birthday. Let’s save us both the trouble,” Ben began. He flinched at the sound of the revolver cocking itself. He sighed and opened the jacket, reaching for his wallet.
A sharp shrill broke through, a woman witnessing the crime taking place.
Her panic was enough to make the mugger instinctively pull the trigger, not completely understanding what was taking place.
Peter fell to his knees as he tried catch Uncle Ben. He shook his head, shaking him and sobbing. Crying out his name.
“Don’t let me! Don’t leave, please!” Pete cried out, half shouting. “Don’t leave! You can’t leave!”
Peter shakily laid over the limp body of Ben. He knew it was too late. The red stain spreading quickly over the Star Wars shirt, his shades reflecting the empty alley, where he’d breathe his last breath alone. Ben was dead the instant he hit the ground, the coroner promised. But here he was, still gasping for breath, believing that of all things, he had just ruined his nephew’s birthday. His kid’s birthday.
“Pete.”
Peter lifted his head, still gripping his uncle by the shirt. His eyes red with tears, face still carrying the weight of the battle his body was fighting in the real world. He inhaled sloppily, the type of inhale he’d breathe if he were in the midst of a break down. The type of inhale he would take in if he had forgotten what it meant to breathe.
“Pete, you’re okay,” Ben said, playing with his nephew’s curls. “You gotta keep fighting, champ. May’s right. It’s in your blood.”
“I’m so alone,” Pete whispered, covering his face as he held onto Ben tighter than before. “I don’t want to do this without you.”
“Wake up, Pete.” Ben gently prompted.
“No.”
“Pete, it’s time,” Ben said, his eyes shutting.
“You told me to fight! Why can’t you fight? Why didn’t you?” Peter cried, refusing to listen to anything else. He couldn’t leave. He couldn’t stand this. He couldn’t bare to leave his uncle again. No. Not again.
“Peter. It’s time to wake up.”
Peter felt light. Weightless even. He went to touch his face when he noticed the IV in his hand. Floored, he looked to see pale blue sheets and an even paler room surrounding him. He winced as he attempted to sit upwards.
“Nope.”
Peter turned and nearly broke from the sight of seeing Tony. The mentor smiled gently at Pete. He clearly had the worst cuts on his face stitched, the broken nose had been tended to, but the black eye remained.
Peter looked further down. Tony was wearing an old shirt. Pete could recognize the “May the Fourth be with You” tee anywhere.
“You dork. You scared me half to death,” Mr. Stark scolded, unable to hide the joy from his eyes. He shook his head and leaned back in the chair. “May’s on her way. I’m probably grounded.” Tony shrugged, earning a laugh from Peter.
“Mr. Stark?” Peter whispered.
Tony leaned forward, eyebrows up, ready to listen. The shades on the collar of his shirt clicked as he was closer to the kid.
“I like your shirt,” he managed, before letting the idea of rest take him into a deep, an most-needed, sleep.

Day 2/7
You felt day 1 of your last few day’s to live was wasted. You mostly spent it crying and saying goodbye to the team. Peter told you that you shouldn’t be saying goodbye to them, but you did anyways.
Today you wanted to the things you’ve always wanted to do. Thanks to Tony you could do many of those things in one day.
First was skydiving. Every since you heard about skydiving you’ve wanted to do it but thanks to your moms low income you never got a chance.
“You ready to go?” Tony asked, making sure you’re okay to do this.
“Of course.” You were ecstatic to do this. “What about you, Pete?”
“Uh, y-yeah.” Peter said sounding nervous. Truth be told he was terrified to do this.
“Are you sure?” You didn’t want Peter doing anything he didn’t want to do.
“Y-yeah of course I want to do this” His voice went up at least 2 octaves.
“Are you afraid to go skydiving?” Tony would have made total fun of him but decided not to go too hard in him. “Your Spider-Man, you could just catch yourself if you had to.”
“I-I know but everyone since The Vulure kinda threw from a very high point and I almost drowned because of a parachute I’m kinda afraid of doing things like skydiving.” He said in one breath
“You don’t have to go if you want to, we do something else.”
“No no let’s do this I can get over my fears.” Peter sounded like he could do it so you trusted him.
“Let’s go.” You said as you grabbed his hand and hopped onto the elevator that just arrived.
You could feel the nervousness radiating off of Peter but you were pretty distracted as you were riding to the skydiving place in Tony’s helicopter.
Riding in a helicopter was also on your list and it was way more fun than you thought.
Peter actually really enjoyed the helicopter ride. Not that he’d ever tell you, but that might have been the moment he realized he was in love with you. He’s loved you since the day he met you but right now he can’t look away from you. You’re going to die in 6 days and yet you’re so care free, you look so happy. You’re not going to graduate high school but you don’t care, you live in the moment like your world isn’t ending. He might even be a little jealous.
He loves you.
He loves you but he can’t tell you.
He can’t tell you because he needs you to enjoy your last few days without thinking about feelings. He doesn’t want to mess up this amazing spot you’re in. Telling you how he feels is going to ruin this care free, happy person. It’s going to add in feelings that are unnecessary when trying to live in the moment.
You finally arrive at the ground, landing next to a car. Because you were on a helicopter and skydiving takes place partly on a plane, you had to land farther away for safety reasons. You had so much fun on the helicopter ride you didn’t notice Peter staring at you the whole time.
You hop out of the helicopter and you try to smooth your hair. “Yay! I’m so excited!” You exclaim after getting closer to the building.
“Me too!” Peter yells but it’s much more unsteady.
Tony walked next to Peter. “You’ll be fine Pete, did you bring your webshooters.”
“I’ve only been checking that they’re there every five minutes.” You’ve noticed Peter does that a lot when he gets nervous.
“Don’t be nervous, I got you.” You grab his hand to help calm him down. And of course it works.
You get in the car and drive the short distance to the building. Once you get there, y’all check in and get suited up. Because none of you have done this before, you had to watch a safety video. Before you knew it, you’re getting into a plane that would soon, in Peters words, drop you to your death.
“Peter, I’m not going to die.” You assured him.
He thought “Not today you’re not.” but he didn’t want to bring the mood down.
You eventually made it. You were nearing the drop off zone and getting very excited. Your excitement was rubbing off on Peter because he stopped messing with his webshooters.
“Are you ready Peter?!” You yelled. You had to because it was so loud.
“Yeah!”
“How about you Tony?!”
He replied with two thumbs up knowing you wouldn’t hear him.
The intructor was saying more words but you weren’t listening until he said “Alright, 3...2...1...go!” And everyone jumped.
It was exhilarating. You were free falling with the people you loved most. You managed to get closer to Peter and grabbed his hand. “Isn’t this amazing!” You screamed.
“It really is!” Peter yelled back. He got over his fear. He was having the time of his life.
As you neared the ground you had to let go so you could let out your parachute.
The intructor let out his parachute, giving the rest of y’all the go ahead to do the same.
Once you landed you were unclipped from your parachute and you could not stop jumping and yelling “Whoohoo!!” And “That was so much fun!” You can feel the adrenaline running through you. You imagine this is what Peter feels like when he’s swinging through Queens.
Once you got back to the compound you couldn’t stop telling everyone how much fun you had. You even made some of them jealous as they’ve never gotten the chance to do something like that. Yeah they’ve jumped out planes but never for fun, mostly to land and kill someone.
You were sitting upside down, feet on the head of the chair and your head hanging off, when Tony asked, “What’s next?”
You looked up. “Next? Theres more?” You replied confused. You thought all you were doing was skydiving.
“Yeah, we have to knock out at least 5 things on your list if you want to finish it.”
You turn around completely in the chair and sit up. “We’re finishing the list?”
“Yeah of course we are.”
You grabbed the short list from your back pocket and read carefully. There weren’t many on it. Just some fun things you heard about. Skydiving, riding in a helicopter, and owning a parrot were a few on there. “It’s kind of short, if we do 5 today there might not be many left on here.”
“Perfect, pick one more.”
“Wanna go to a pet store?”
“You want to vist a pet store?”
“No I want to get a pet.”
“No pets. That’s my one rule. No pets.”
“Please?” It didn’t take much more convincing.
“Fine, do you want a dog, cat, maybe a fish?”
You smiled. “A parrot.”
He was speechless. “A-a parrot?”
“Yes. A parrot.”
He closed his eyes and sighed. “...lets go.”
“Yay! Let me go get Peter.”
“He’s not coming with.”
“Yes he is.”
“No he’s not, he’s gonna want to get every pet and he won’t leave until he does.”
You stared him right into the eyes and said, “FRIDAY tell Peter to come here.”
Peter walked in a few minutes later. “What’s happening, is this a staring contest?”
“It wasn’t at first but I’m going to win.” You said without breaking eye contact.
“No your not.”
Peter walked up and clapped right in front of your faces and you both blinked. “Peter!”
You chased him around the couch.
“Can we just go already.”
“Go where?” Peter stopped running.
You tackled and said “Pet store.” You got up and said “I’m gonna get a Parrot.”
“You letting her get a parrot?”
“Sadly.” Tony said “Let’s just go.”
The second y’all walked in Peter ran straight to the puppy’s “Oh my god they’re so cute!” He then sprinted to the bunny’s then the cats then the fish then the geckos and struggled to keep up with him.
“Peter! Remember why we’re here!”
“Uh yeah, right, a parrot.”
When you found the birds Tony was already there. “Which one do you want?”
You stared intently at them 10 minutes. Peter joining in about 3 minutes in.
“What are you guys doing?”
“Shh! They’re speaking to me.” Peter nodded slowly.
“This one.” You pointed to a bright blue and red one in the middle of the birds. He was singing some song with a few other birds.
“Let’s just hurry up and get it.”
“It? It?! This bird has a name, a gender, you don’t call them an it?!”
Tony laughed at your dramatics. “I’ll get a worker.”
“What would you like to call him?” The worker asked while getting the paperwork finished.
“Spider-Chirp.”
Peter busted out laughing and Tony looked like a disappointed father.
“Don’t forget the hyphen.” That just made Peter laugh even harder, he was always so picky about the hyphen.
Tony had no idea how you kept such a straight and serious face the whole time.
The worker seemed confused and tired, probably used to bullshit like this.
Tony payed for everything the bird needs and everyone got back in the car.
“So who’s gonna take care of Spider-Chirp when I’m gone?” You heard yourself say. It just came out abruptly, not really meaning to bring down the mood, just wanting to make sure your new friend had a home in 6 days.
“Were gonna figure this about Y/N, don’t worry about Spider-Chirp,” It was very difficult for him not to laugh, “You’re gonna your live”
You admired Peters confidence, his ability to hope for the best even when you knew it wouldn’t happen. You just smiled back at him, not saying anything, you let him hope, even though that bird would definitely out live you for many years. Or maybe not you have no idea how long birds live. Maybe you should have gotten a goldfish or something.
“Alright it’s getting late, what you like to eat?”
“Anything.”
“Anything? There’s nowhere you’d like to go?”
“I know where I want to eat but Pepper and Sam usually does the cooking so I don’t know what they’d make.”
“You seriously want to have dinner at with the team when you could eat anywhere?”
“Yup”
“Okay. Let’s go.” Tony was confused but respected your wishes.
———
Dinner was great, you enjoying just talking with your family, you were quieter than usual, just lost in your own thought.
You were reminded of your mom and was thinking about how someone is supposed to tell their mom that they’re going to die in a few day’s.
You’re planning on telling her the day before your inevitable death. That gives y’all enough time to find out if there is a way to save you while also being able to say goodbye to your mom.
“-/N, are you okay?”
You snapped your head towards Peter and said “huh?”
“Your just staring off into space, are you okay?”
Everyone had finished eating and left but you stayed seated staring at absolutely nothing.
“Oh, yeah I’m fine. Lost in my thoughts I guess.” You said with little emotion, Peter didn’t ask why, though, because he knew why. “I’m tired so I’m just gonna go to sleep.”
“Yeah, yeah, of course. Hand me your plate and I will put it in the dishwasher.” You did as he asked and left to go to your room.
You didn’t sleep much that night, mostly your birds fault, Spider-Chirp lived up to his name and chirped all night. You did manage to get a few hours in after reading that putting a sheet or blanket over the cage will make them believe it’s night and that would make them quiet. The moon was too bright and the window was too big so you guess that’s why the bird was awake.
Tomorrow is a big day.
A massisve day.
They’re going to try and save you.
A/N: this took so long to get posted but I wasn’t really in a creative mood and didn’t want to post a chapter that was way worse than it usually is.
