Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s closest sisters!

Pamina left her mining town nearly a decade ago to go and find her fortune somewhere else. Fate brought her to the valley five years ago, where she found herself broke and decided to take up the old family mantle as a way to scramble enough money to get back on track. However, she found that the veins in Teak’s Hollow were unexpectedy rich, and has since tried her best to convince the Major and the villagers to invest the town’s capital into establishing proper mining facilities to extract the resources.

The sisters enjoy a spending their free time at Moo-Myung’s bar, bonding with other vilagers over a cold pint of beer, which they excell at due to being able to literally talk to three people at once.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s most diligent researcher!

Though at first she came into Teak’s Hollow as Tavo’s field assistant, Yuriko has since begun her own research to apply for a scholarship and become a full fledged scientist herself. Fluent in three languages and with an impressively organized mind, Yuriko considers Tavo not as her superior, but as an older cousin that’s giving her shelter and an allowance as they help each other with their studies. Tavo, on the other hand, is very aware he’d misplace all of his tentacles if he didn’t have Yuriko around, and tries his best to push her research forward by putting in his good word with his colleagues at the University.

Yuriko is shy by nature, but be careful to not trigger her temper, and remember to always bring a few cucumbers when you hang by the lab!

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s most stressed vacationist!

Mona works as a model in the city in order to pay for her Nursing Degree, and comes to stay at Teak’s Hollow the last week of each season during her breaks. While in the town, she stays at her cousins Drachma’s house, and she enjoys the time spent in the company of her rowdy cousin that doesnt give a shit over whether or not she’s wearing eyeliner, but that enjoys fashion enough to be a test dummy for her makeup.

While it’s difficult to establish a relationship with Mona due to her hectic schedules, you’ll find she’s a soothing and warm person, with a love for helping and always willing to listen to a troubled heart!

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s sweet awkward mess!

Life as an introvert is not particularly easy, much less when you’re basically raised by your bomb of a big sister. Though Hrague loves Drachma and knows she puts them over everything else, they can’t help but to feel a little exhausted from time to time. Luckily, a short walk into the woods and some Screaming Alone Time is just what they need to relieve the anxiety.

Hrague is interested in literally anything you’ve brought over from the city, or interesting stories you have to tell. If you ask them why they don’t head to the city themselves however, be ready to deal with a full on existential crisis with a healthy dose of teenage angst.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s newest (and only) tourist!

Luisa came to Teak´s Hollow following her two best friends, thinking she’d find the inspiration for her first novel in the small picturesque town. She spends her days taking walks around the village and the surrounding fields, notebook in hand and dreaming of making it big with her stories.

Maybe Luisa doesn’t have as much insight into the life of the town as the other villagers, but it’s always refreshing to talkto someone that, like you, is taking an indefinite break of city life.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s resident little nightmare!

Even though Nia is a sweet and caring girl, she’s every bit a fairy and enjoys pulling pranks and spreading mischief around the town, causing most of the villagers to be very wary of the sweet sharp toothed smile and the combined force of four puppy eyes. Luckily for most of them, Nia lives with the conviction that her older brother hangs the moon on the sky each night, and will be persuaded of everythinghe asks of her, be it eating her vegetables or giving back your name after you were foolish enough to give it to her.

Try to not cross Nia, or you might find that one or two of your tools has been turned to sticks or that you can only speak backwards, and remeber: Offerings of warm milk are effective with both children and fairyfolk.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s dear little bookworm(booksnek?)

Though a bit introverted and insecure about her appearance, Yara finds herself at home in Teak’s Hollow, where most of the residents have known her all her life, and welcomed her back with open arms when she returned after finishing her studies at the city. She inherited her grandma’s old house in the valley, where she moved in with two of her friends from college that were eager to take a sabbatical in the little town Yara speaks so much about.

Yara can be found at the small library her grandmother kept, which she has made open to the public after making sure there are no nasty cursed tomes left.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s newest mailperson!

Anna moved into Teak’s Hollow just a few months ago. In fact, she still has problems sometimes when finding the addresses she’s supposed to deliver to! Really, without wings to take her around she’d never finish her mail route... Still, she’s fallen gradually in love with the little town after coming to live here with Yara, enjoying the free sky and the welcoming villagers.

You’ll probably run into Anna a few times a week as she delivers your mail, but don’t expect her to be in a great mood if you’ve just ordered somethig especially heavy she’s had to lug all the way from the village!

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s most inseparable duo!

Basil is Rosemary’s little brother, and he lives with her and their parents in their farm. He adores the town and the freedom he has, as there are always new things to discover in the valley. He and his pet jackalope Barley are a common sight when one is out taking a stroll by the woods or the lake and though they are tireless when it comes to their adventures, they’re easily swayed from them with the promise of a few treats.

If you’ve got time to share your stories of the big city, Basil will definitely be interested... for about five minutes, but hey, the world is out there to be explored, and one can always have a chat on rainy days when you can’t go out right?

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s most efficient secretary!

While Arion was born and raised in Teak’s Hollow, he left for the big city searching for a “classier life”, only to have to come back a year ago when his parents passed, and left his little sister in need of a guardian. Arion quickly found a job as the Mayor´s secretary and assistant, though he makes it clear to anyone asking that this is temporal until he´s saved enough to move himself and Nia back to the city, where he´s sure he could give her a better life.

Despite his snobbish attitude and disinterest in the town, Arion takes pride in the quality of his work and does his best to keep the administrative side of the town up and running.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow’s most dedicated lumberjack(of-all-trades)!

Drachma was born and raised in Teak’s Hollow, and inherited her mother’s old workshop when her parents retired to the beach and left her in the care of the family business. 

You can find her at her cabin yb the lake, where she lives with her younger sibling and cousin, and she´ll be more than happy to set you up with some materials for construction, build things for you or upgrade your tools!

The house is a bit broken -just like you- but perhaps all it needs is a new coat of paint and some life and love -just like you-

Maybe in time you can even convince the ghoul that’s taken residence in the upper floors that you can coexist here. In the meanwhile though, the ground floor is enough, and you have a farm to rebuild anyways.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow´s most interesting architectural feature!

Nemisto came to live to Teak´s Hollow a decade or so ago, having grown bored with his job diverting rain from a building at the big city. There he established a small but well stocked cattle farm, which he runs from dusk to dawn every day(night?). You can only shop at Nemisto’s store after the sun goes down, but he’s always there when you or your animals need him!

Despite his fierce exterior, Nemisto is a gentle soul that enjoys taking care of his animals and the peaceful silence of the sleeping town, and a good cup of tea.

Introducing Teak’s Hollow best brewer!

Moo-Myung lives at the Teak’s Hollow Inn with Malynn, where she runs a small bar stocked with all sorts of potions that will make your life in the farm easier. She also performs more traditional shaman services such as calling forth the spirits of the departed for a quick chat with the living.

A trickster by nature, Moo-Myung loves playing a good prank on her patrons, so always be a bit wary of what you order at her bar!

Introducing Teak’s Hollow most successful (and only) innkeeper

Malynn has been living in Teak’s Hollow since long before the first house was built, as they’re the spirit of the titular teak around which the town formed. They developed the inn over the years, growing a room here and a nook there for the weary travelers that stopped by to stay in until they could build their own places.

Always willing to lend an ear to a heavy heart, Malynn is who the residents of the town go to for advice. As they’re bound to their tree, they adore it when people come from faraway places to tell them stories, or show them interesting objects!

Introducing Teak’s Hollow local cinnamon roll!

Birgitte´s family moved to Teak’s Hollow when she was a child, looking for a respite from their homeland´s harsh winters. Years later, Birgitte manages the poutry farm herself under the passive supervision of her grandfather.

While she enjoys her time on land, Birgitte can often be found in her seal form, splashing up at the lake for hours.
