I didn't mind Sutekh, I actually thought his monster form was pretty cool (i like dogs), it had some creativity behind it but Omega? Just a bland, uninspired monster with a skull for a head because its "scary". Literally anyone else could have come up with a better monster design. its so basic and unimaginative and honestly it feels like RTD just googled "monster" and this was the first result, but i know that's not true because I just googled monster and the first result was literally better than what we got!
At the very least, Sutekh's appearance sort of invokes aspects of his original design. its Egyptian themed, its got red eyes, its not the greatest but at least it's not totally divorced from its source material like Omega is. You're telling me you looked at Omega's original appearance, big helmet and everything, and couldn't think of any way to incorporate even the slightest aspect int you design? It's lazy, it is fucking lazy.

If I had a nickel for every classic Doctor who villain with a top tier design that RTD2 brought back as giant CGI slop, I’d have two nickels.

It's pretty bold of Doctor Who to end on a cliffhanger when the shows future isn't the most certain right now.

Taking a quick break to state that I now understand the "I like this character better than the writers" mentality. I'm taking Belinda. She's mine now.

Its weird because when I was watching The Reality War, I actually liked it. Yeah I was a bit miffed about Omega, and the Rani dying so soon was a bummer, and Belinda being quasi-fridged was aggravating, but I still liked what I was watching.
Then I got online and started seeing all the discourse over at and as I started reading, that was when It started to upset me and make me angry like "yeah, your right, it really was that bad"!
So I kinda want to say a Thank You to the fandom for opening my eyes and reminding me to be more critical of my media, but also I wanna say fuck you? Just a little bit because I kinda did enjoy it and now I can't?
Anyways, long story short: Doctor Who is a contentious show, and I both love/hate this fandom.

It would be funny if Timelords were canonically smarter and more advanced than humans, but physically weaker. Like the burliest of Gallifreyans would still get folded by our scrawniest 95 pound weakling of a human. It would explain why the Doctor prefers to use their wits rather than physically duking it out because they know they will get their ass kicked.

I get why it upsets people, Government entity chipping its employees never looks good, but if it was Torchwood that did it, people would be all like "lol of you wacky Torchwood" or it would be presented in a more dubious light.
You know, when you work at UNIT and “abducted by aliens” is just another Tuesday, bio-chipping the staff starts to seem... kinda reasonable, honestly.

Even though its kinds be explained away, my original theory on bi-generation was that it was only possible because 1.) The Doctor fucked around with myth and superstition with the whole salt thing at the edge of the universe in Wild Blue Yonder, and 2.) The Toymakers influence was in effect and made things like myth more possible.
For the Rani I suspected her bi-generation was orchestrated as part of her plan, like she needed an accomplice and didnt trut anyone other than herself, do she did some bio-hacking and created customized her next two regeneration to be what she wanted.
The idea that the whole thing happens because it's an effort to try and bring a dying species back from the brink just kinda doesn't give with me.

Hi! I realiaed ive been messaging you from my main blog and not the Doctor Who one you might know me from lol. Anyways, im glad to hear your doing a bit better today.
Wow, weeks? I have never had a migraine for more than a day, maybe 2, that sounds awful. Definitely get on somwthing as soon as you can. I read your response to my other message as well.
Im not a Doctor by any stretch of the word, nor do I have any medical experience outside my own issues, but I would degibately seek a second opinion for your migraines. Its ridiculous thay you have them so bad for so long and are getting offered nothing.
I hope you can be migraine free for a while here now, get some relief of that. Wishing you the best of luck!
Hey! How you doing today? Migraine any better?
Hello! My migraine has settled into it’s usual pain range so I’m feeling a lot better, thank you! (I usually have a migraine for 1-3 weeks or 2-5 months, it depends.)
I’d been suffering with the one I had posted about for nearly 4weeks, I was getting desperate otherwise I would have never asked strangers for help 😂
I’m hoping that since the pains died down it’ll go completely soon and I’ll be free of them for a few weeks, I’m planning on booking a doctors appointment for them, and I’ll be requesting a different doctor to see me.
Thank you for being kind to me, tbh I was expecting that if anyone replied to my post they’d just tell me to get off the phone and deal with it without whining online.
Sorry for the long reply but I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind
I hope you have a good day/night and be migraine free 😂

Agreed.
Feelings on the finale aside, that was one of the better overall seasons we've gotten in a looooooooong time.

That's enough of an endorsement for me!
I just watched Mickey 17, and honestly, it felt like a multi-Doctor episode—if one of the Doctors actually followed the tiny voice in their head telling them to strangle the other. Then River shows up to intervene and suggests a threesome instead.

Like, what architect signed off on the UNIT building? Who took a look at the plans, saw that the last quarter of it needed to rotate a full 360 degrees with giant battle cannons, and thought "ah, yes, perfectly normal building stuff."

I don't know what magic the BBC works, but they have never casted a bad actor for the Doctor. Each one has embodied the role in their own unique way and I never went away feeling like I wish it was someone else I the role, and at the end of their tenure I always feel sad and want more tine with them.
One of my favorite things about being a Doctor Who fan—at least in my experience—is how I always go into a new Doctor thinking, “Eh, this one’s not gonna be for me.” Classic Who, NuWho, doesn’t matter. I’ll cross my arms and go full skeptical mode. “This isn’t one of my Doctors.”
And then, like clockwork, a few episodes in I’m in love with their dumb little catchphrases and ridiculous mannerisms.
Case in point: I started watching the First Doctor fully expecting to be bored. I thought, “Okay, this is just the show’s Old Man Phase. I’ll respect it, but I probably won’t like it.” Three stories later and I’m like, “I would die for this tiny goblin man.”
Every Doctor sneaks up on you like that—one weird monologue, one dramatic coat swirl, one totally unearned level of confidence—and suddenly you’re emotionally compromised. It’s the circle of Whovian life.

I remember reading this book as a kid and I think it really influenced me, despite that fact that even steven looks like a fucking nerd.
