Creature Whumpee who is in hiding. They pass for human, and nobody knows they're a creature.

But one they day get injured, and everyone rushes to help them of course. Everyone is concerned, kind, caring. Until the question of how they got so badly injured arises. They locate whatever hurt them (maybe they got stabbed), thinking maybe there was poison on the object?

Except they realize it's just a normal thing. ...for humans.

Someone realizes that it hurts Creatures, and suddenly those concerned looks Whumpee has been gotten look concerned for a whole other reason...

immortal whumper who doesn't get attached to their whumpees, but takes each one as a challenge to see how much they can take and for how long

Whumper is essentially... middle management? Like there's the whumpee and then there's the one above them calling the shots (boss whumper)

RW doesn't exactly like doing this to whumpee, to differing degrees depending what you got set up. But they do it anyway because BW told them to (motive can be fear, loyalty, whatever)

RW really just pities whumpee a lot. This ain't stoppin them bit it's happening

"Why are you doing this?" "Boss told me to. (Could also be any additional reasons)"

I just woke up but the people can elaborate as they please if this is anything that jingles the brain good

do you have any ideas or prompts for a paranoid whumpee after rescue?

Sure!

Whumpee who doesn't trust anyone. Anything could be a trick from Whumper, anyone could work for them. Even the people who are nice to them now, what if they are just waiting for Whumper to arrive? No, the only one they can trust is themselves.

Whumpee who routinely checks the house. Maybe every night and morning, but also maybe just constantly. Are the windows locked? Nothing on the camera? Did anything change? Could anyone have gotten in?

They sit down after doing a round, but a few minutes later they're up again. What if they missed something?

Whumpee who keeps the door closed when they sleep, but can't even keep their eyes off it. What if it opens? What if Whumper comes in?

Whumpee who doesn't dare to go outside. Out there, they could be seen. Someone could rat them out. They could suddenly get shot or stabbed.

Whumpee doesn't trust food. What if it's poisoned again?

Whumpee walking on the street, and thinking the person behind them is following them. No, they're just paranoid, right? They're not slowing down now Whumpee slowed down. Right? Oh no, they're speeding up when Whumpee walked faster. How long have they been behind them? It's nothing. It's nothing. It's not nothing.

Whumpee ends up running home. They're not followed.

Whumpee hiding food all over the house because they don't believe nobody will take it away from them.

Whumpee always has a bag and an escape route ready. Just in case.

Caretaker who is desperately trying to do anything to keep Whumpee comfortable. Even if that means having to check the house 15 times a day and assure Whumpee all is well.

Caretaker tries to keep a level head, but honestly? Whumpee's doubts are getting to them. What if Whumper is still out there?

A character whose combination of injuries impedes their mobility far more than any of the injuries' individual severity- burned hands or a broken wrist or dislocated shoulder mean they can't use crutches for a twisted knee or sprained ankle or painful flesh-wound.

Generally tagging by categories, or will try to bc this is just gonna be a general collection of whump stuff for my own reference

Broad tags will be something like situation (an overarching thing), incident (... yknow, specific incidents), character being more along the lines of it being a character trait or because whump they're now xyz or smth

And ofc there's gonna be the specific tags like I'd it's more injury related or more about drugs
