another addition, as I’d just like to say that the ONLY reason that the state won is because the national guard was mobilizing tanks against the miners. evidence of the battle of Blair mountain is still visible to this day, just look at the bottom of the Big Sandy River, where a a coal train still sits after miners blew up the train trellis. coal miners don’t play.
