I've noticed a trend of creators uploading custom content to curseforge, and either not linking it here on tumblr, or hiding those links. If you go to a download link and "rightclick -> copy link" and see that the link includes "forgecdn", that is a curseforge link. But bypasses the page and downloads the content immediately. Before you can even tell its a curseforge link.

A lot of creators are trying to use curseforge to host their content, and then hide this from their blogs or download posts, hoping you wont notice when the link takes you to a direct download from curseforge.

Also some base game revamp updates w/ landgraab previews:

Adding the Altos in to Willow Creek because I don't want the Landgraabs to own every property and the Goths are not that type of family. Instead of the Landgraabs im actually going to give them a one-sided rivalry with the Goths. bc its funny. Holly is close friends with Cassandra and it makes her parents So mad. Maybe I'll throw Bert in for fun as a side thing while Nick is trying to mold this used car salesman of a man into a Respectable Alto (it will not work) If not he'll probably go in Oasis Springs

Adding Don's mom as a townie idk I just like it when sims have more connections. For this same reason I'm considering keeping Dina & Nina's mom alive but at the same time they have their aunt Katrina too.

Also I'm sticking Don in My apartment build I shared not too long ago, thinking of putting Johnny instead in a trailer park along with the Brokes

On that note the residential rental lot helps so much with how small the worlds are that I kind of really want to include it.. and honestly I'm actually starting to struggle a bit with the whole base game only thing in general lol. More on that tho later bc I haven't made any decisions other than that I definitely want an all packs version of the save

I wanna make Malcolm look more like a teenager but other than that mostly happy with him? I couldn't keep the cheese hair on him though I am so sorry I'm too weak. Am also considering changing his traits to Bookworm & Mean to be a bit more in-line with his sims 3 self. Maybe overcompensates a bit. Probably wants to be a writer but knows that wouldn't fly after what happened with Johnny :)

moving away from the autism moment, part of me feels weird building mansions in sims because I'm like this lot needs to be fancier and bigger, there should be multiple sitting rooms multiple dining rooms these people are loaded and this feels too much like just a bigger, normal house!! But at the same time I don't want a day to pass making my sims walk across the house so y'all gotta get more humble . thats that

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Dina & Johnny Zest as an item. I think their personalities mesh well (especially since I don't view Dina as just a shallow & simple gold digger) and I also like the character development that'd come with her actively choosing a partner that not only isn't rich, but struggling.

She's definitely materialistic, loves luxury, loves being spoiled... but I also see her as ambitious and more than capable of making her own fortune, the faith in herself just isn't quite there and she's trying to hit an easy button. I feel like it'd be a relationship that'd push her more towards tapping into that part of herself and then I don't really view Johnny as a nothing. He's a hard worker and I think eventual success is a given, so overall I could see them ending up fairly well-off, and being each other's cheerleader along the way.

I think there's also something there about their place in their families. Johnny obviously has the shorter end of the stick but ironically enough even though I headcanon Dina as the one that gets more attention from men due partly to her more bubbly personality, which is something that gets under Nina's skin a bit, I view Nina as being more so the favorite growing up, at least with their mom, who I HC as Dina having a bit of a tense relationship with. So they both have mommy issues as far as I'm concerned
