Me and my sister (7yo) rewatching Stranger Things, currently on Season 2 Episode 1 MADMAX. We got to the scene where she's like skateboarding in the school area and all the boys (well, except Mike) are admiring her at the gate.

My sister turns to me and says "Does Lucas fall in love with Max?"

Me: "Well, right now, Lucas and Dustin like her."

She is in elementary school and our household doesn't watch queer media, except for me but that is on my own time. She doesn't know ANYTHING about lgbt other than sometimes boys can like boys and girls can like girls. But the fact she was able to pinpoint a possibility that they like each other after a season and an episode (a season Will is barely in mind you) is crazy to me. She then said smtn about Mike kissing Eleven but not liking her or smtn, I lwk forgot.

Can someone explain what being hypersexual means? I want to know every aspect before deciding if I have it or not because I don't want to fake it. I have some symptoms and trauma but I want to know EVERYTHING. It would just help to know that my trauma has a label and I am not alone.

Guys... how the FUCK am I supposed to react when Byler kisses??? My family and I have all watched Stranger Things together everytime a new season drops. My dad is transphobic (unrelated but should be known) and doesn't care for gay people, like he supports the LGB portion but stereotypes them hard, republican but not the stupidest one. My mom doesn't care, she isn't homophobic but I could imagine it making her a little uncomfortable to see two guys kiss. Like she has a gay co-worker and they get along fine BUT she has never seen them together. My brother might laugh maybe idk, my dad might laugh too lwk. My sister might freak out because I don't think she knows what gay means 😭😭. But like, my whole family will be uncomfortable or shocked or laugh, so what do I do?? My first reaction would probably be to squeal and do a backflip but that would NOT be the correct environment to do it in.

Unrelated but I just remembered how I came out to my mom as lesbian and I think she forgot 😛😛. She stopped mentioning men around me so that's a plus.
