If House came out in the 2020s there would absolutely be an episode where House steals a vape from a teenage patient with the intent of mocking them and ends up getting really into it. Cuddy tries to stop him from vaping in the hospital but it turns out there’s a loophole in the anti smoking rules that mean e-cigs aren’t technically banned.

While Cuddy is on a mission to fix the rules, House is collecting the grossest, sweetest vape flavours he can find. Foreman’s pissed because House keeps blowing smoke in his face, Chase finds this really funny and Cameron is unsuccessfully trying to stage an intervention. Wilson just puts his hands on his hips and asks that House refrains from vaping in front of his lung cancer patients.

Somehow the episode ends with the reveal that cotton candy vape juice was the only thing keeping the patient alive and House’s vaping habit was actually genius medical research. Cameron and Wilson are relieved House doesn’t actually have a new addiction. Episode ends with House taking one last puff of his vape and then going to put in it the bin before reconsidering and pocketing it. This is never brought up again

House would have figured out what’s wrong with Will Graham after nearly killing him and would have been like oh yeah also your therapist has been feeding you poison chicken soup that’s why you’re getting worse, probably should check his freezer too the guys not subtle with the cannibalism. But it’s easy to miss all this when you’re getting bent over the therapy chair instead of sitting in it.

theo van gogh was the one who suggested that his older brother vincent start seriously painting. as soon as theo was gainfully employed he gave vincent around 15% of his own yearly salary for art supplies, lodging, and food. about 2/3rds of vincent's surviving letters were to theo (including vincent's earliest and last letters), all of which were found stored in theo's desk. theo's child, vincent willem, was born on january 31st, 1890, and vincent was so delighted by his nephew that he painted almond blossoms for him. vincent shot himself half a year later on july 29th, 1890. theo's distress at his brother's death worsened his syphilis symptoms and he died half a year after his brother on january 25th, 1891 (four days before vincent willem's first birthday). theo was reburied next to vincent in auvers-sur-oise at the request of theo's wife johanna.

I will never get over how similar House and Hannibal are to each other, I could draw parallels between the two men forever. Both men struggle immensely when it comes to accepting the fact that they are capable of feeling pain, and they both have the tendency to lash out when they feel hurt in an effort to make sure they are the least hurt person in the situation. When Hannibal stabs Will in his kitchen, when House drives into Cuddys house, along with an endless amount of other examples I could give. Accepting their own mortality and weaknesses feels unbearable to them.
