I remember doing those learning aptitude tests in school and I'd always get the "all three" result saying that I could learn from hands-on, visualization, or auditory and everyone would day thats great you don't need any special teaching style you just learn and now I think thats 100% wrong. I actually need all 3 at the same time. I need you to tell me stuff so that I can write it down and then I'm going to put it on a calendar or sort it with other things so that I will see it in its full context. If it's 1 one of those, won't remember. 2? maybe. All 3 means it will seared into my brain on my deathbed.

i loveeeeeee nonlinear storytelling. show me where we are. now show me how we got here. the end before the beginning. show me how it was inevitable or how many chances we had to change things(nothing was ever going to change). let's meet in the middle as all the puzzle pieces slide into place hell yeah that's the good shit.

Honestly I need a combination between Storygraph and Goodreads. They both have elements I love.
Tagging / shelving books: superior on Goodreads. It's challenging to browse through old books on Storygraph if you want to create a new tag. Plus, you can make separate TBRs for digital books, physical books, library books, whatever you desire.
Feeds: the social aspect is better on Goodreads. Storygraph's Explore and Recommended Books algorithm is much better. Many times, I see a random book on Storygraph and go to see if my library has it. Expands reading. Goodreads is best if you're looking for more of the same, such as getting hyper-focused on a particular time period or person and wanting to read all their biographies. I have more people on Goodreads, and the social media feed is easier to find, making it easier to keep up with friends and get new recommendations.
Buying books/giveaways: Goodreads lets me integrate my library/Canadian stores, and it works sometimes. Storygraph is better with giveaways and doesn't force you to shelve the books. Goodreads is integrated with your Amazon account, so you can add books you buy through Amazon easily.
Stats/other features: Goodreads used to have a lot of features and stats that have gone away. I don't even know I still make book recs on the site anymore, but I miss being able to write down if a particular friend has recommended a book to me as a filable area in the review. Storygraph wins for stats hands down. They give more than Goodreads ever did.
Website / App: Storygraph is the same across both. If you only use the Goodreads app, you're getting limited features. I can do everything I want from my phone on Storygraph, but with Goodreads, I always have to go to my laptop to fix things. I like using the Goodreads app more, though.
Reading Challenges: Storygraph wins. Lets you set page goals. Lets you join community challenges or make your own. I created one based on Idina Menzel's career, and I love it. Great for tracking series or trying to read all of a particular author. I do like the little bookmark rewards we get on Goodreads for their preset challenges. While I'm not changing my reading to complete them, I will prioritize a TBR book if it qualifies for one of the challenges. It's fun seeing the new art each month when you finish a book.
Probably not everything, but thanks for reading my Ted talk.
