Yeah he’s like super protective of his kids lowkey, kinda to make up for the fact he missed practically a whole decade of their life cuz he lowkey feels so bad about it, but he can’t be too hard on his little cousin, OOP WHO SAID THAT?? But they actually are cousins in my au!!! They were both from heaven so it makes sense (not featured: cuphead and the devil crashing out over the fact they are related)

If ur also wondering why cuphead has all those cracks and is so much more beat up than mugman, it’s because I projected my chronic illness onto him, I imagine he felt so bad about betting their souls, he did the first isle and a half by himself, until he got completely shattered during beppis fight (roller coaster got him good, I’ll go more into that later) and mugman had to step in, and it was pretty hard to put him back together so he kinda has a lot of scars for it…

This was supposed to be quick doodles but I got ahead of myself because I was so so exited to get a ask 🥹🥹

OKAY DOES LUX LIKE BEING A FATHER?- at FIRST, NO, he did not- infact- he was so egotistical and had such a god complex (literally) he thought having children was the worst thing that could happen to him because… well… gods don’t have kids! Apprentices? Sure- did big G make a kid- sure, but he made his kid with a purpose! The boys were made off one too many rum and cokes and poor judgment- so he honestly despised the thought of having to take care of these kids that- he didn’t even know! But then- he started seeing parts of himself in the kids he didn’t even know he had! And it was like looking at a mirror, and he started feeling these stupid, silly mortal emotions- like love- and proudness- he looked away for 2 seconds- andddddd now he’s attached. So yeah- he does like being a dad- it’s grown on him, and he spends time with them in different ways, like good dads do!

Ring a ding and vise versa, cuphead lowkey beefing with him for being a deadbeat until this point and ring a ding can’t beef with a child but he does because he refuses to call him his name- it’ll either be “Mr.dinga ling.” “Mr. Ding dong.” Or “Mr. Dingleberry (hates that one MOST)

Also I assume lux would know big G and Lucifer cuz they’re both gods- they probably hung out. He DOES NOT know about cupheads beef with the devil, and the fact the devil is actively hunting them down- so he’s a little mortified to find the devil in his front yard trying to drag cuphead to the depths of hell.

(Mugman is his favorite so he lowkey considers letting him go but he decides not to.)
