HELLO WINDSOR BAY FAMILY!

As you have probably noticed, activity has dropped off quite a bit and things have gotten pretty slow around the dash. I've spoken to my fellow co-admin and we've decided that the best way to move forward is by conducting an interest check and launch into a revamp. If you are still interested in staying in the group and keeping your role(s) please like this post AND message us with your name and who you are keeping no later than Monday August 25th. If you have not sent us a message to keep your role by the deadline, your role will be re-opened and you will need to re-apply when we open back up. We're allowing players to keep all of their roles if they wish to. Please note that if you've been thinking of switching FCs, switching muses, etc that now is the perfect time to do so, just send us a message to let us know. As for the re-vamp, we have many ideas to incorporate that we believe will help things run smoother behind the scenes and help gain more interest for outside applicants to come join us. While we are temporarily closing our doors in order to conduct this revamp and most likely a theme makeover, just know that we most definitely WILL be coming back. Just sit tight, keep checking back, and we'll keep you all updated on when we will be re-opening and accepting new applications. LENGTH OF TIME IN WINDSOR BAY: He’s spent most of his life in Windsor Bay. He moved away for four years in college, moved home, and then lived away from Windsor Bay for three years. He’s been home for the past two years.

THE INTERVIEW.

What’s it like, living in Windsor Bay? Did you ever picture yourself settling down here or did you always know this would be your home?

“Windsor Bay is in my blood, so I didn’t have much of a choice, but I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Not many people are lucky enough to be born in the place they were meant to be, but I definitely was. I mean, there is no Windsor Bay without the Fords, so obviously, this is always going to be home.”

What’s your family like? Are you still close, or have you blocked all their numbers?

“We’re very close. I’m lucky to be the son of two parents who are still together; that’s very rare nowadays. And my sisters are just the best. We’re all busy, of course, but we try to still do Sunday dinners as often as we can,” Elijah said, fighting to keep the annoyance from his voice. Everyone in his family only cared about themselves; they certainly looked like a perfect family, but only because that was the image they wanted to project. He wasn’t exempt from this, of course. He only cared about himself, too, which is why he was lying to try to protect that image his family had created. He hadn’t seen his parents or sisters in months, and, if any of them were unhappy with that arrangement, no one made any effort to change it. He certainly preferred it this way; benefitting from his family without having to see or speak to them.

“A leader,” Elijah said with a smirk, as if it was the most obvious answer in the world. He was a Ford, after all, and Fords were leaders, whether he wanted to be or not. “What kind of a question is that?”

I would really enjoy seeing a new hire that Javi is assisting, an employee who has been with the hotel long enough to have seen Javi's upbringing, and all the experiences in between.

Javier is the middle child of this couple's children, at 30, so they should probably be around 55+ years old. We see the father as the heir; he's very serious, never forgets anything, devoted to his task, and a very straightforward person. He's business-oriented, running the Harborview Hotel. The Dad idolizes his own father.
