Thank you, Robert Rothschild, for the 5-star Amazon review of TARZAN: BATTLE FOR PELLUCIDAR!
There is more Edgar Rice Burroughs Universe goodness on the way!
Robert Rothschild
5.0 out of 5 stars
In the classic ERB vein, a fantastic adventure
Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2025
A Tarzan/Pellucidar cross-over must be a big event, a grand adventure and this book delivers. Captures the characters and the narrative style faithfully; there’s a lot of exposition weaving together threads from many ERB novels and some post-ERB authors who expanded on his universe, it adds depth and connections without interruption.

Calling the young students “the true enemy of gun rights,” the National Rifle Association reportedly issued an “F” rating Monday to dead schoolchildren.
“This is our lowest rating, and it’s exactly what this radical group of anti-gun extremists deserves,” said NRA CEO Doug Hamlin, who lambasted the deceased American shooting victims as “selfish, divisive, and tyrannical.” “From preschool to high school, dead schoolchildren are an assault on freedom. No one in the nation has ever done more to hurt the reputation of the Second Amendment. It’s going to take billions in fundraising to undo the political damage they’ve done.”

Fantastic conversation with Christopher Paul Carey and Wolf Larsen, hosted by Derek McCaw at Fanboy Planet!
"Christopher Paul Carey and Wolf Larson talked with me last night about the potential Victory Harben animated series that would encompass all the worlds of Edgar Rice Burroughs! Trivia: Wolf is the 3rd Tarzan I've interviewed. I'm not sure if there's a prize for guessing the other two correctly."

Checking this out on Tubi. It originally aired in 1957 on the anthology series DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS, JR. PRESENTS. Robert Beatty of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY fame plays Drummond. The cast also includes actor Ian Fleming, who is not the same person as James Bond's creator. I've read three of the original Drummond books by H. C. "Sapper" McNeile, and seen most but not all of the films.
