Half Term Shifting Plans
I have a week off of school for half term! I thought it would be worth putting together a list of things I intend to do to progress my shifting journey.
Script Progress
I'm spending Monday night at my nan's and I don't think I will be wanting to shift while I'm there, so I'll be trying to finish more of my script in my free time on Monday. My first priority is going to be finishing my character pages for my script, and then I want to review my DR notes and affirmations if I get time. I also want to spend some time writing more scenarios, although I don't expect to get time to do that on Monday, so I'll spread scenario writing throughout the week.
Shifting Attempts
Since I'm going to have so much free time, I also want to attempt to shift a few times. Usually I only attempt a couple times a week with a day or two between attempts because I don't want to be anymore tired than normal during the day. However, now that I'm not in school, I'll have plenty more time to take care of myself without having to worry about shifting tiring me out. I will try to shift everyday (unless I feel too tired) and give myself a break on Sunday to recover in time for school.
(Potentially Progress Related) Side Note
While I'm here I want to mention a cool dream I had last night. I don't remember many details, but everyone I interacted with or recognised in that dream were Harry Potter characters (with the exception with two friends). Neville even gave me a hug, which was super nice, and I woke up really happy because of it without the usual disappointment that it was only a dream. Obviously dreams aren't the same as shifting, but at least it means I'm getting closer to what I want subconsciously, and I think it could be a strong sign I'm getting closer to my DR. I've also been checking my phone at exactly 11:11 a lot recently, which I think could also be a sign!

Scripting Notes
I've been having somewhat of a break from shifting at the moment and I've been thinking of changing my method. In the meantime, however, I've been making progress with my script.
I use an app called Notion (recommended by cass.relf1 on Tiktok), and it's brilliant. In a way, it's almost like a carrd, but SO much easier to manage.
I have separate sections for DR notes (basically describing what my DR is like and the differences between my DR and the canon universe), Characters (describing their dress styles and certain aspects of how they behave and their personalities, though most of this is close to canon), Scenarios (this is self explanatory, but its also the emptiest part of my script at the moment because I'm not an experienced writer and it tires me out very quickly), and Affirmations (again, self explanatory). Since I don't really have much progress to report, I thought it would be a good idea to make a quick post about how my script is laid out and specific things I've scripted.
To start, I'll explain my DR notes. Mainly they are there to stop certain things that are likely to ruin my Hogwarts experience - I'm shifting to have fun and meet my comfort characters, not to watch people die (lol). For example, I've scripted that Voldemort's only horcrux was the diary, and after it's destroyed in the second year, Voldemort can't come back. I've also scripted that I don't have any face-to-face encounters with Death Eaters, and I've also scripted that Harry's name doesn't get put into the Goblet of Fire.
I've also scripted the (presumably) obvious. For example, I have a very high pain tolerance, I am immune to the three unforgivable curses and if I die in my DR, I shift back to this reality and will wake up on the morning before my death the next time I shift to my DR. I also have soft, smooth, clear skin and people never notice if I wear the same outfit more than once. And on the topic of clothes, I've scripted that I can reach into my trunk and pull out whatever clothes I want to wear. I've also scripted that I can control my bathroom needs in class without any discomfort, and I take pills to stop my periods that always work.

Progress Report 1
Things seem to be going pretty well!
I haven't made much progress with my script recently since I've been busy with reading, homework, and revision. I've also had a few days without attempting to shift, firstly to give myself a break and secondly because I've just been too worn out to focus.
Over the past few days, I've been practising a tip (I don't remember where I heard it) that suggested taking 10-30 second moments during the day to imagine your DR as vividly as possible (this has mostly come in the form of doing it completely randomly in the middle of boring classes). I've also been reality checking recently by counting my fingers at random intervals.
Last night I decided to give actually shifting another go. I was quite sleepy but not too exhausted to concentrate, and followed my usual method of playing ambience while visualising my DR. Since I was on my back in a starfish position, it only took a few minutes to get that floaty, weightless sensation of my surroundings kind of melting away. Usually at this point I lose focus a bit because I twitch a lot and my fingers tend to move unintentionally, which is pretty distracting. However, this time I didn't even have time to get twitchy before a sense of realness sort of washed over me. I felt as though I was in a relaxed sitting position, despite knowing that I had just been laying down in bed, and the rumbling of the train felt as if it was real. A couple of seconds later, I opened my eyes and was back in my CR. Bummer, but at least it's progress.

Introduction
Hi! My name is Olive, and this blog is here to document my reality shifting journey.
Shifting History
I don't remember exactly where or when I discovered the phenomenon of reality shifting, but it was most likely on Tiktok in December 2020 or very early 2021. At the time, I had been hyperfixated on new gen MCYT for over a year and would have done anything to be a member of the Dream SMP, hence why shifting sparked my interest. I did some light research into methods and scripting, and got as far as writing a very basic script, before losing interest in MCYT in March and giving up for a while.
Since then, I have been interested in Detroit: Become Human (video game), Gotham (TV series) and, most recently, Harry Potter. Until my friend recommended the books to me, I had avoided the fandom due to its size (I usually avoid big fandoms because I find them intimidating, which usually leads to me ending up in dead fandoms and completely missing the hype over a lot of things). Anyway, reading the books and finding myself on the Harry Potter side of Tiktok rekindled my interest in reality shifting.
For around a month I have been doing more in-depth research on shifting and watching Youtube videos documenting people's personal experiences with shifting, especially to Hogwarts. I've also been working on a script for shifting to Hogwarts; it's not finished yet, but I'm making steady progress and it's definitely getting there!
Method
I came up with my own method, and it's not particularly complicated. I do my usual self care routine (skincare, a snack, a glass of water, brushing my teeth, a chapter or two of a book and then a bathroom break). Then I relax to ambience relating to my DR (my favourite is ASMR Rooms' Hogwarts Express ambience) in a starfish position, and visualise my DR as vividly as I can. The idea is that after I've shifted, I'll wake up in my DR on the Hogwarts Express. The method hasn't worked yet, but I've got quite close and I'm giving it time before tweaking it because I'm confident that it will work.
That's about all I have to say here. Thank you for reading, and feel free to follow if you are interested in my progress!
