Will do more in the future to try prevent this as she can not handle this.

Her actions betrayed her words, even as she complained she didn’t stop caring for you. Someone who has survived explosions, fought taller and tougher people, and should just generally be dead. But here you were, stuck in bed with Moira caring for you as you caught the flu.

Not bothering to even try to speak as coughs left your thoat. Moira backed away slightly, because as much as she loved you, she's not getting sick. Well too bad for her, as you needed comfort at this time.

Reaching your arm out from the cocoon of blankets you made, only to grab her collar. Unable to resist as you pulled her into the cocoon, also unable to leave. She sighed but ultimately stayed. She guesses it was kind of her fault, as she didn’t prepare you for this, but still.

No surprises here, she got sick.

Tucked into bed with every blanket and pillow around the place. Your girlfriend wasn’t in the room though, even as you whined and called for her. As much as she wanted to give you all the attention possible, she actually had no clue how to help.

Searching through the cabinets for what her mum said, unable to find anything close though.

“I’ll just– you don’t need to!”

Unable to argue anymore as the phone was hung up, sighing at Asa’s stubbornness. As neither of you got sick there was very little actual medicine around. So her mum was going to bring some around and try to help you. Walking back into the bedroom, finding your whining didn’t stop as she got closer.

“Bet you heard that right?” Letting you grab and pull her closer, in turn trapping her under everything on the bed as you quickly fell asleep. “Maybe not…”

She absolutely got scolded for cuddling when you're sick, but how could she have resisted you any longer?

Your hoarse voice called out to the cat Brigitte had just brought into your room. She only turned around to stare at you before looking away, soon walking towards the door. Pawing at it as she wanted to leave, which Brigitte opened. In seconds she was gone.

This was one of her attempts to try help you, or entertain you. But as you both jet witnesses, it wasn’t really working. So Brigitte just took to entertaining you herself. Lightly pushing you over as she got under the sheets, pulling you close.

Which was a sweet gesture, but at that moment neither of you thought about the repercussions. And that was Brigitte getting sick once you got better.

Illari has never cared for anyone before.

So she has to bring in some help to get her started.

But once she gets the idea she’s all set to care for you.

For the first while she might not actually realise what the nanomachines are.

But if she does, she doesn’t make it obvious.

Prioriting you in battle and your healing, even if you can do it yourself.

These were only a few of many excuses you’ve heard this week, just from one person. And here they come now, Venture, or as you call them, Sloane. One hand was holding their cheek as if they’ve been hit, which was actually pretty likely.

Not needing to point them anywhere, as they’ve been here more than enough times. “What happened this time?” Replacing their hand with your own as they spoke.

“Sparring, it was amazing!”

Even as they yelled and moved slightly, you inspected their face. Only to find nothing, not even a blooming bruise.

“I bet, did you win?”

“Uh, yeah!”

But after Phoenix’s missions and tricks? He’s being a lot more careful with newer recruits.

For your first few missions he is internally freaking out constantly.

But he tries to make sure you don’t realize, otherwise you might freak out as well.

So he does everything in his power to be there for every step of the way if possible.

And while they were a seemingly hopeless mess you were just oblivious. At this point the others felt bad for you both, so someone had to step in.

And who better to help than someone already in a relationship, as she surely knows what to do. Right?

Apparently not. It’s been nearly two hours and they’ve gotten nowhere. While Sloane did ask about how they got together, it’s nothing that’s helped them. And they both realize this at the two hour mark, so they call it a night. At least one does, Tracer decides to ask her girlfriend herself.

“You said they were into rocks and crystals, right?”

“Yeah, it’s all they talk about! That and Y/N…”

When they stepped over Hana pulled them into a seat, hearing you laugh at their actions. This also distracted both of them which allowed Tracer to blink by, dropping the box onto the table in front of you. The new object caught the attention of the other two.

“What’s that?” Hana reached for the bow tied on top and slowly moved it around, as if examining it. You pulled off the lid which allowed Hana to take it, also revealing the contents. It was beautiful but the note really caught your attention, the familiar handwriting told you who this was from, supposedly. Venture saw it and internally panicked. The only thing they recongize was the note, they definitely didn’t make the box.

Even as the months passed and Fade officially joined the team, the nightmares never let up. If anything they got worse. You didn’t know what you had done to her to warrant this kind of behaviour. You tried to stray from being around her, but it often ended in failure.

And this seemed to become noticeable a few weeks ago,but no one knew how to confront either of you on it. For you it could’ve been a variety of things that have kept you up late over the nights. And for Fade, they couldn’t pin it on her, as you’ve had these before.

But this night the nightmares became worse, to the point you shut everyone out. Every device that could’ve been used to contact you was either shut off or straight up removed from your room. All the lights had been turned off, except that let you in the dark, Fade’s domain.

Allowing the nightmares to double until you couldn’t handle them alone anymore. Stumbling out of your room with a blanket in tow, hearing your door shut and lock before you continued on. Right now your mind was in shambles, forcing you to look and read every name you came across.

Until you found the right one, pausing and debating. Should you bother Varun with this? You turned to leave before the door slid open, revealing said partner. His eyes scan your form.

You nodded into his chest, allowing him to bring you inside. His arms hold you close as you hear the doors shut. Soon enough you felt his blankets on your back as he laid at your side.

He let you move as you wanted, which had you curling into his embrace and chest. Wrapping your blanket over you before his own, keeping his arm wrapped around you.
