A heart warming scene between Muichiro × demon slayer/pillar/non-demon slayer!reader (it's up to you) who loves to play piano. That was the first time Muichiro ever saw that instrumen and then y/n offered him to play it together. Although he was a little bit hesitant at first, Muichiro accepted her offer.

Muichiro continued walking with his usual emotionless expression, but his footsteps came to a halt as he caught the sound of soothing music reaching his ears. His head turned instinctively, seeking the source of the melodic tune.

He approached Y/n's estate, he couldn't help but be captivated by the enchanting sight of the wisteria vines gracefully cascading towards the ground. Its gentle descent seemed to match the serene notes of the music he had heard earlier, creating a tranquil atmosphere that drew him in.

The mist pillar continued his steps, his usually emotionless expression softening as he took in the beauty surrounding him. The sound of the music grew louder as he neared the source, and he found himself being pulled closer, almost as if the melody itself was beckoning him.

Curiosity piqued, Muichiro approached the room where the sound of the piano was emanating from. The soft notes flowed through the air, intertwining with the delicate presence of the wisteria. As he peered into the room, he laid eyes on a piano for the first time, its elegant form and black and white keys captivating his attention.

Y/n was skillfully playing it, her fingers gracefully dancing across the keys, producing the enchanting melody that had drawn Muichiro to this place, the way she played seemed effortless.

Y/n continued to play the piano, her graceful movements mirrored the delicate and intricate nature of the music as her fingers danced across the keys, effortlessly producing each note with precision and skill, her body swaying in rhythm with the melody, displaying a deep connection to the music that transcended words. Muichiro remained in the doorway, captivated by the sight before him.

As if attuned to Muichiro's lingering presence, Y/n suddenly turned towards him, bringing both of them to a sudden halt. Muichiro blinked, momentarily caught off guard. He hadn't expected to be noticed, especially since he had been observing from a distance without making his presence known.

“Sorry, I didn’t see you there.” With a soft chuckle, Y/n broke the silence, apologizing for not acknowledging him earlier.

“It’s fine…” He trailed off, “What’s that?” He asked, curiosity was piqued as he observed the piano, his gaze focused on the intricate details of the instrument. He took a few steps closer, his eyes scanning the keys, the wooden body, and the overall construction of the piano.

“Piano. Never seen one?” Y/n’s question prompted him to shake his head slightly, indicating that he had never encountered it before.

"No, I've never seen one," Muichiro admitted, his tone reflecting his genuine curiosity.

Y/n smiled, “Want to try?”

Muichiro's gaze lingered on the piano, a mixture of curiosity and uncertainty swirling within his eyes. The prospect of trying his hand at this unfamiliar instrument both intrigued and intimidated him. He had never ventured into the realm of music before, and the thought of creating melodies seemed like a daunting task.

With a subtle nod, Muichiro accepted Y/n's invitation. He stepped closer to the piano, his fingers hovering over the keys and gently pressed a key to which his initial hesitation resurfaced as the sound of the piano key reverberated through the room, causing a momentary flinch.

Y/n softly chuckled, “Here.” she stood up and gestured towards the cushioned seat, inviting Muichiro to take a seat and make himself comfortable to which he complied.

Muichiro's eyes remained locked on the keys, his hands hovering uncertainly above them, filled with hesitation. He couldn't help but wonder how Y/n made it seem so effortless.

Y/n's smile widened as she observed Muichiro's endearing expression of confusion. She found his lost demeanor endearing, a charming contrast to his typically composed and focused nature.

Taking a step closer, Y/n positioned herself behind Muichiro, her body enveloping his with a comforting embrace, she leaned over, her chest against his back. She gently placed her hands on top of his, her touch guiding his fingers to the correct keys.

Muichiro's eyes widened at the unexpected touch of Y/n's hands on top of his. The closeness of their proximity and the warmth radiating from Y/n's presence created an intimate atmosphere that was both comforting and exhilarating.

A mix of emotions swirled within Muichiro, his heart beating a little faster. He had always been reserved and composed, unaccustomed to such close interactions.

"Feel the keys beneath your fingertips," Y/n softly said, guiding his hands.

Muichiro's heart continued to race as Y/n's voice resonated in his ears. He took a deep breath, allowing her words to penetrate his thoughts and calm the storm of emotions within him.

He began to lower his fingers onto the keys, trembling ever so slightly, a testament to the mix of excitement and apprehension coursing through his veins.

Y/n's guidance continued, Muichiro surrendered himself to the touch of the keys. He allowed his fingertips to press against them, feeling the subtle resistance and the resulting vibrations that echoed through the room.

His resistance melted away as he surrendered himself to the melody. The captivating notes resonated within him, creating a sense of solace that seemed to transport him to a different realm—one free from the burdens of demons and conflicts.

Their fingers moved across the keys, as the music enveloped him, its enchanting embrace drowning out the noises of the outside world.

The idea of stepping outside his comfort zone was daunting for Muichiro. However, he contemplated making an exception, just this once, for Y/n.

001. pomp & power | wisteria haze

first doc template to kick off the blog's debut is pomp & power, named after the shade of purple that accentuates the template (because I suck at naming things lol). a simple single muse template with 5 pages, the template hosts the basic info and summaries of your character's appearance, personality, relationships, and backstory. if you like this template or end up using it, please reblog to share this template around! ♥ (cw: artistic depiction of nudity)

how to use: > go to the dropdown menu for "File" and select "Make a copy." do not remove the credit; you are free to modify the color and font of the credit but it should still remain clearly visible and the link functional

what to know: > pomp and power heavily uses the tables function in google docs. to view the template properly on mobile you can go to "print layout" but for the best writing experience I would recommend writing using a desktop > pomp and power's layout is very line sensitive; in order to preserve the layout please do not exceed the limit of lines for each section that is currently available in the doc. if you do find yourself writing more, I would recommend putting a brief summary of and a link to a doc hosting sections you find yourself writing more extensively for > to replace and of the images features in the doc, right click on the image and select "Replace image" from the menu that appears

@thefreelanceangel - Okay Imma be SUPER real here for a sec because I have a hidden weapon.

IT'S SIYOH!

Siyoh is my secret weapon because she is so monochrome/silver in her coloring she literally will reflect any light in a scene like a glorified opal.

Case in point, the middle one below especially...

Since she's devoid of so much color I've always found the best thing I can do is to put her in a wide array of colorful clothing, surroundings, or lighting (or all of the above I suppose).

More often than not though I'll match the colors of a scene to the light source I use for her. I'll break it down a bit though...

For the picture of Rex and Siyoh, there's a very prominent blue light source (the moon phasmascape) in the BG to the left that I added dramatic and fabricated lighting for while in gpose.

For the middle, while there was no light source in the scene originally I worked off the wisterias in the background to paint a rich purple/pink color for the image. (again, light source was done in gpose)

And, most recently, there were green lanterns and hangings in the background and I chose that paired with gold and red hues to pull off the opposite side lighting. So, the left side is green, the right side is red, and there's a center light behind her painting the same warm lighting from the bright white/yellow lanterns behind her. (lighting also done in gpose)

But again, admittedly, while this can be applied across all of my work and characters (especially for night scenes) it especially pertains to Siyoh as she is so very light reflective. (something I even write about when I roleplay her, ha)

...I also just r e a l l y love backlighting. Its my weakness.

Not that she’ll let anyone know.

But when she’s on missions she’ll watch you through her sniper.

It’s Sombra, she already knows almost anything about them nearly instantly.

She doesn’t really care for the reason you use them.

If it’s possible she’ll look into enhancing them even more.

𝕄𝕖𝕣𝕔𝕪:

Believes them to be similar to her nanobiology.

She will ask about them, wanting to learn as much as possible.

If you indulge her, she’ll be writing everything down, wanting to get everything correct.

But if not, she won’t bother you about it but will look it up later.

Likely meaning you won’t need as much healing, but she’ll still hang around.

𝕄𝕠𝕚𝕣𝕒:

She’ll openly show you her interest about them.

Just, don’t let her get her hands on any of them.

Please don’t.

So you’ll need to talk about them almost constantly just to temporarily sate her.

Although later she’ll have Sombra give her every piece of information on them.

𝕂𝕚𝕣𝕚𝕜𝕠:

For the first while she might not actually realise what the nanomachines are.

But if she does, she doesn’t make it obvious.

Prioriting you in battle and your healing, even if you can do it yourself.

Stays close to you most of the time.

When she does make it known she knows, she’ll ask about them.

Want to know everything they can do / help you with.

𝔻𝕠𝕠𝕞𝕗𝕚𝕤𝕥:

Likely you’re with Talon, and he’s proud of your use of them.

He will want to know more about them.

Whether it’s just him wanting the general knowledge or too use them in the future.

If you don’t feel like telling him, he’ll ask Sombra about them.

Will put money into the process to better them if possible.

synopsis : izana realizes today is indeed a special day for tenjiku’s baby and will do whatever he can to make you happy.

He’d noticed. All day, Izana had noticed a particular tenderness each member of Tenjiku carried when you were around. Which wasn’t really unusual — they’d all had a soft spot named Y/N that they spoiled and watched over.

Ran had smiled gently at you as he watched you ramble, leaving with a kiss to your cheek. Rindou had carried bags for you, insisting even when you told him they weren’t heavy and you could do it yourself. Even Sanzu had tapped your arm lightly, handing you a brown take-out bag that held your favorite cookie inside.

Wisteria colored eyes narrowed — what was going on? What was the special occasion? Tenjiku members were gentle with you, yes, but never had they gone to this extent. Especially not everyone in the same day.

Izana’s eyes widened — he’s so stupid.

You were new. Well, newer than the other gang members. But it didn’t take long for everyone to crowd around you, fretting and almost mothering as they ruffled your hair or fixed your uniform so it was against your skin just right. You were their baby — Tenjiku’s prettiest and most loved member.

And Izana wasn’t immune to that softness. He, too, found himself hovering over you and keeping a watchful eye on your every move. Extra pieces of food were slid your way; an extra lackey or two following you around in their red uniforms. Kakucho had even been assigned to walk you home as one of his must do duties.

It hadn’t been long since you joined, but the red-clad gang seemed to be there for your every beck and call.

That’s why Izana couldn’t believe how careless he’d been — how absent-minded of him to just brush off todays date like it was nothing. But, it was everything — you were everything.

“Y/N,” Izana called out to you as the meeting was dismissed. Perking up at his voice, you watched as he motioned you over with a nod of his head. Scowling down at you, Izana let out a sigh. “Why didn’t you tell me it was your birthday?”

Tilting your head and letting your hair fall in your face, you puffed up your cheeks. “I didn’t think it was important, my king.”

“It’s just us,” he frowned. A tanned hand twirled a strand of your hair before tucking it behind your ear. Hesitatingly, Izana let his hand fall back to his side limply. “You know you don’t have to use that title.”

“Okay, boss.”

“Y/N.”

“Sorry, ‘zana,” you let out a small giggle. The white haired boy let out a sigh, his shoulders drooping and body relaxing at your name for him. Your eyes sparkled when you looked at him — they always did, and it always made Izana’s confidence waver. “You’re staring.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?” His voice softened, a stiff hand coming to rest on your arm. He squeezed your bicep before letting his hand drop again. You had the urge to just take control since he seemed to be fighting himself so much.

You puffed up your cheeks again, letting out a hum in thought. “Didn’t think it was important, honestly.”

“It’s your birthday.” He softened. A tentative touch on your cheek causes you to meet his eyes, watching as they brewed with a storm of emotions. You melt into his touch with a small hum — Izana finds it harder to breathe as you nuzzle into his touch. “Your birthday — of course it’s important.”

“It’s jus’ another Tuesday,” you shrugged. Izana drops his hand again, a determined look coming onto his face. You frown at his lack of touch, wanting nothing more than to grab his hand again and never let it go.

“C’mon,” he grabs ahold of your left hand, beginning to walk away without another word. “Going to at least get you somethin’ sweet today.”

“I know somethin’ sweet that I want.” You stop in your tracks, causing Izana to freeze as well. Biting your lip, you decide to take a chance and speak your mind. Tugging the hand that was connected to his, you brought Izana a little closer to you. “Not in stores though.”

He tilted his head in confusion, lavender eyes looking at you in question. Pulling on his fingers again, you didn't let up until he was standing directly in front of you. Izana let out a small “oh,” as your gaze stayed glued to his lips.

“What do you want, pretty? Tell me." He was teasing you — Izana held a mocking smirk to his lips, but he wasn't being malicious. You frowned anyways, allowing the white haired boy to grip onto your hip wth his left hand.

“Be nice to me, s’my birthday.” Your voice held a small whine to it as you looked up at him. Izana's smirk grew into a grin at the sound, admiration and desire clouding over his eyes. You let out a huff, resting your chin on his chest before softening your voice. “Please, ‘zana? Wan’ a kiss.”

“Since you asked so nicely.” He unlatches your twined fingers to place his hand on your cheek, his thumb on one side as his other fingers crowd the opposite side. Squishing your cheeks so that your lips were puffed up in a fish face. Izana placed one, two, five small pecks to your smooshed lips before he grinned down at you again.

"More?" You could only ask, pretty eyes spakling up at him as you struggled to speak with his hold on your cheeks. Izana hummed, his nose brushing against yours before he let out a sigh.

“Pretty baby,” he murmured against your mouth before melting against it again. Moving so his thumb joined his other fingers, Izana now cupped your face properly. Occassionally, his left hand would squeeze your hip when he noticed you getting a little too eager in the kisses. "Calm down, baby. Have all day."

"Well, well, well," a familiar voice broke through the hideout. Stepping back fom each other only slightly, you and Izana turned to see the top members of Tenjiku. Ran was the one who spoke, a smirk on his lips as he absentmindedly twirled one of his braids. "Just what are we looking at here?"

"Ran!"

"Shut up."

"Aye, aye, King," Rindou joined in on his brother's teasing. Gesturing to Kakucho — whose cheeks were flushed — and the box he was carrying, Rindou smiled kindly at you. "Birthday cake for the birthday baby."

"Boss' baby, it seems."

"Not another word, Haitani," Izana spoke through gritted teeth. His embarrassment was obvious as heat sprinkled across his ears and cheeks. You smooched his jawline quickly, running to catch up with Mucho and Sanzu. Kakucho caught his friend's attention with a grin and tilt of his head. Izana rolled his eyes, "I know, I know. About time I made a move, huh?"

Kakucho's answering snicker echoed throughout the hideout as they sat around the meeting table there. You clapped softly as they sang happy birthday to you, smile reflecting the sparkling candles Ran insisted you'd love. [You did.] Sanzu sliced the cake, giving the biggest slice to you.

And before you could sit in the seat beside Mucho, Izana pulled you onto his lap. One arm stayed wound around your waist as the other held his fork, picking at his slice of cake. You were perched there happily, turning to face Izana and give him small kisses around his face whenever you could. Izana returned each and every kiss, sighing contently into your hair.

Ran would continue to tease to every once and a while, but he was so happy that the two of you were finally together — they all were.
