A/N: Getting back into Valorant, slowly, but surely.

Yoru clock you in immediately, teleporting to your side and asking you if you're back for another fun night with him. Just seeing you back here makes his cock throb but he's willing to ignore it for now, how about something other to eat first? Since he's seen you again so soon he only assumes it must be fate that's bringing you two together.

Phoenix gets a little flustered that you're displaying the hickies he made so openly. Hey now, those were for him alone no? Seems like you had other things in mind, put it out there that you had a good time for all to see. He tries to give you something to cover them up because he's really embaressed that left so many on you. Next time he'll make sure its on places that have to be covered up.

Sova isn't too bothered by you going a mission with him after hooking up. He won't tell anyone that he's met the new agent before in private. Keeps flirting with you over comms though, and saying innuendos about the night before. It boils over when you see him again, narrowing your eyes at him while he acts like he doesn't have a hard on and is smirking at you, asking of you want to help him.

Viper doesn't let the fact that she's seen you naked get in the way of your work together... at first. She keeps stealing glances at you as you work in her lab. There need to be boundaries established before she bends you over the desk and eats you out, she should have held back but after just tasting you once she's addicted to your taste. There's no way she's letting this be just a hook-up anymore.

Reyna teases you relentlessly when she sees you again. Are you following her or is this just very happy coincidence? Either way she's not opposed to repeating last night again, it was great way to get rid of her stress and energize her all over again. A little bit too well because your energy, your life force, it tastes so good to her, she would love to have you moaning for her again.

Fade really tries not to let the tension between you two get to her. She keeps shuffling on her feet as you stand next to her, stealing glances down your body and shivering when you reach for her hand, open to a conversation but instead she ends up kissing and pushing you against the wall, your legs lifted and spread for her hips to grind against yours. To hell with holding back.

Chamber lets his charm do most of the work, getting you back in his bed again and again after that first hook-up. He is also pretty full of himself and would regularly flirt with you  Nobody thinks too much of it because this just seems to be his character but with you, he was actually trying to win you over He cheekily asked you if you would give him a kiss if the next mission was a success You kind of waved him off not really answering  Believing it to be one of his antics again and nothing would follow When he came back from the mission successful he went over to you  Before he could open his mouth to say anything you leaned in and kissed him on the cheek  You cheekily pulled away and then just went to the others talking about what exactly happened on the mission Chamber was slightly flustered but would cover it up, and follow you trying to talk to you Maybe you were more interested in him than he thought Sova

He was surprised when you suddenly just ran into his arms but he enjoyed the affection 

He was surprised by the kiss but he probably won't have that big of a reaction in front of everyone 

Maybe a light flush on his cheeks and a smile on his lips but inside he is feeling way too much at once

He really likes you and hopes that soon he can ask you out

Gekko

I think Gekko is normally affectionate with you and would come to you after your missions to hug you and stuff 

So you bought about also doing that for him so this time you waited for him to come back and just jumped into his arms when you saw him

You would welcome him back and give him a kiss on the cheek while he continues to hold you

He feels so giddy from your affection and gives some back to you

I could imagine him being a bit more shy when he has a crush on you because he doesn't want you to find out his feeling

In total though he thinks that you two should really start doing that for each other after every mission, even if you went to the mission together

I don't know why you would give this man a kiss after a successful mission because he is gonna brag about it forever

With his outgoingness, he is gonna tell everyone about how you decided to give him a kiss

Even if someone tells him that a kiss in the wheel isn't special he will not listen to them

He just loves any kind of attention from you that he can get 

If you are fine with it he will also give you a kiss on the cheek 

He also wants to show you his appreciation and these interactions could spark a flame between you two

You talked to Jett and she dared you to kiss Yoru when he comes back from his mission

I think under his exterior he is quite flustered but he wouldn't want anyone to know about that so he covered it up with teasing

This mission a hyphen just saved everyone and you really wanted to thank him for that

You went up to him and kissed his masked cheek telling him that he was amazing

It would take him a second to register what you did but the lingering warmth on his cheek showed him that this really just happened

That was unexpected and he would chuckle, thanking you for appreciating his work

He is happy that the mask doesn't let you see how much this little gesture actually affected him

It was a spur-of-the-moment thing, you just leaned in and gave his cheek a kiss

We all know Brimstone is the more professional type and I don't know how well he would take to public affection 

You two are probably already very close because otherwise, I don't think he wouldn't have the most positive reaction 

But if you two are close then maybe putting aside that you kissed him on the cheek in front of everyone 

He would use the kiss to motivate himself and just know that there is always someone proud of him and his work

You just were happy to have KAY/O back so when he came up to you to talk you gave him a quick kiss on his cheek

So KAY/O is sentient and everything but I don't really know if he can feel you giving him the kiss

Even if for him personally the kiss emotionally maybe doesn't mean much he knows what it means to humans

He would thank you and verbally try to express how he recognizes the meaning of these physical gestures

Chamber, Cypher, Yoru, Fade, Viper, Reyna: more often than not, they choose to keep their most meaningful acts in private, but if they get jealous, you can bet they're all over you. Chamber likes to fluster you in public and is probably the most cocky of the group.

Harbor, Skye, Astra, Sage: you are absolutely worshipped when you're alone. the most they would do in the HQ or on missions is hand-holding, hugging, or a quick peck on the cheek. I feel like one of their love languages would be physical touch or words of affirmation.

Sova, KJ, Omen: THE MOST TOUCH STARVED MOTHERFUCKERS OUT THERE!! As your relationship grew older, they would be more comfortable with little acts of affection in public. KJ would not be afraid to let you hang off of her like a little squirrel.

Brimstone: mans is gonna have a heart attack just thinking about the old rulebook. since he's the leader of the protocol, he keeps a lot of things private and to himself anyways. plus, he knows the younger agents would poke some fun at him.

Chamber :

- He totally understands, he used to have bad insomnia after some military missions

- He usually stays up late working anyways, so he just invites you to lay in his lap <3

- He might brew some tea and put on some classical to ‘relax you’. He says it helps him a bit!

- Overall, he will just stay up with you unless you say otherwise. He does dish out some lovely cuddles though :^>

“What do you think? Do you like the new design?” Chamber asked as he turned the gun in his hand. You looked down, nodding. His guns were all impressive, each made to perfection. You were just glad he allowed you to sit with him during his ‘work time’, indulging your insomniac tendencies.

“Good. I am glad you like it. The next one I make will be yours. Then we shall go lay down. How does that sound?” Chamber’s warm hand rubbed against your arm before setting off on a new project. You chuckled at his enthusiasm, murmuring a quick, “Sounds good”.

Sova :

- This man is also an insomniac

- He’s been through hell and back, trying to keep a positive outlook for everyone

- The stress of his past and work weighs down & he doesn’t sleep very well

- That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t sleep well though!

- He lays you against him and tells you old stories, maybe even humming a tune from his hometown.

- He even goes to lengths for the two of you to take warm baths together! Not in a sexual way of course. It helps release tension and calm the body!

- This man will go to the ends of the Earth pulling at any string that will help you. Just thank him and give him the love he deserves!!

You sat comfy against Sova’s arms, listening to him hum. The song was familiar, as he always sang it on your bad nights. The man was gentle, easing the tension from your taut muscles with his calloused hands. All he wanted was for you to get some much needed rest.

“My owl, I will tell you one more story and then we will try to sleep again. Okay?” Sova’s voice lilted, filling your stomach with butterflies. You crooned in agreement, happy to have such a loving boyfriend.

Harbor :

- “Oh sweetheart, why are you still awake?”

- He turns in bed and sees you fidgeting, worry rushing over his face! It’s 4 am - why are you laying restless?

- Once you explain to him that it’s normal he just nods, getting up and dragging you to follow him

- He makes some warm soup and gets some meds from Sage! Even if they don’t help, he wants you to have options!

- Lots of kisses and him spoiling you in love as you cuddle for the night <3

“My darling, eat this. Or at least drink some of it. The warmth will help relax you.” Harbors lips met your temple as he set down the bowl. Soon after you had accidentally woke him up he had taken action, not allowing his love to be ‘facing the demon alone’.

Your heart swelled at the thought, honored that he would go to such lengths for you at three am. He was such a sweetheart.

Yoru :

- “I don’t care if you can’t sleep. I can, so be quiet.”

- You were shocked at his response but could tell he was joking as he pulled you into him. He’s a sweetie but he’s a little grumpy at night..

- He’ll rub little circles in your back and kiss your forehead, murmuring a small ‘it’s okay’..

- “Close your eyes, sleep will find you.” His lips dusted all over your face, attempting to bribe you to sleep. (In affection, of course).

- He tries his best to understand. But.. he’s a grumpy little man when he doesn’t get his beauty rest.

“Y/N, if you move any louder the whole protocol will wake up.” Yoru’s voice cut through the silence, making you jump. The night had not been good and it didn’t help that you had no excuse to stay in the lab. Meaning, you would have to ‘sleep’ in bed early with your grump of a boyfriend.

“Ru, I’m trying. You know it’s hard for me to sleep.” You stared up at the dark ceiling, sighing in defeat. You heard the man rummaging around in the sheets, arm grabbing ahold of your torso.

“Yeah yeah, whatever. Just lay on me and stop squirming then. Deal?”

You were glad for the darkness, because that meant Yoru couldn’t see your grin. As much as he tried to hide it, his tone of voice revealed that he cared. You decided that you would appease his silly act though. Kissing his shoulder you murmured -

Climbing up out of his warm grasp you sat on the top of the couch behind Harbor and tugged on his hoodie, a small chuckle left the man as you managed to tug his jacket off him.

"You know you could've just asked?" He said, a sweet smile tracing his face as you settled back into his arms, his jacket now on your back. "What's the fun in that?" You ask, a teasing grin on your face.

You had already gone on several dates and to make something more memorable, she proposed a surprise to you.

She chose a picnic at night, in a beautiful moonlight when there is no cloud in the sky so you can see the stars.

Although Astra is super easygoing, she was just a lit bit stressed to plan everything, it had to be perfect.

Would you like her idea? What if you don't?

Harbor has to calm her down so she can see it's going to be fine.

It's a surprise date, so you didn't know what to expect...and as a result, she wouldn't let you help with anything either.

I think Astra knows how to cook mouth-watering food, and she used that skill to make your favourite foods, most likely your comfort dish that you once told her was without any pretense and she kept that information as if was something precious.

Efia keeps the memory of your face glowing with the revelation in her heart, when you went to meet her on the HQ terrace and saw a shiny towel spread out with several plates of food on top, some candles lit and even a telescope, you looked so happy and she knew she nailed it.

You ate, watched the stars - she showed you her favourite constellations, laughed with stories of your day to day and when you realized it, it was already time to say goodbye.

She walked you to the door of your dorm and as you gave her a goodbye kiss on her cheek, you promised that the next date you would plan.

❝Brimstone:

He liked to have picnics when he was younger.

Until he had to dedicate himself full time to the army and that habit was left behind.

One day you heard Kay-o talk about a picnic he and Brim had in the backyard of the white house and even though he denies he did it, it stuck in your mind

You decided to ask him out on a date, but didn't say very well how it would be, just that it would be on the beach.

When he arrived and saw you under an umbrella, on a towel, putting the snacks you had prepared....man, he felt his heart skip a beat.

He loves you so much

Enjoying the breeze and eating quietly, he felt extremely light, forgetting all the responsibilities and headaches that the Protocol gave him.

At that moment there was only the two of you in the Universe.

To be honest, you two looked like a married couple, just enjoying life's calmness

He is very grateful that you took several hours out of your day just to do something nice for him.

Maybe he dragged you to take a swim in the sea together if you don’t fear the water

And laughed nonstop because of your grumpy way about getting wet

Building several sand castles for sand Brimstone and sand [y/n] to live in.

After you had enjoyed a lot, when the sun was already setting, he decided to take you for a ride on his motorcycle.

And like a movie, your day ended on the back of your partner's motorcycle, enjoying the surroundings of the beach.

❝Harbor:

Y'all didn't know what kind of date to do until during some quick research, he liked the idea of having a picnic.

Like, really liked it.

You've never done anything like this before, it would be nice to do something so..domestic.

He looked like a puppy, begging you to come have a picnic with him

And of course you agreed, he didn't even have to ask that much.

You did everything together. From choosing the place to which snacks you would take.

But you had to take the lead in the kitchen, as his cooking skills are questionable and somewhat dangerous.

Harbor guided you through a forest in the middle of nowhere and for quite some time, which honestly, if you didn't know where you were going, would make you suspicious of being the next victim of a serial killer.

Until you arrived at your destination: on the banks of a huge waterfall, with multiple falls and crystal clear water. It felt like a scene straight out of a fantasy movie and he knew it catched your eyes.

Perhaps Harbor used his power to make it more beautiful and voluminous, but you can't say for sure how he planned it all.

With everything set up and the food laid out on the tablecloth, it didn't take long for you to eat it all - you wasted a lot of energy walking over there.

If you're not afraid of water, after the meal, Harbor would invite you for a swim, taking advantage of the very cold water to get rid of the heat (and sweat) and have the opportunity to tease you, splashing water on your face with the help of the bracelet

If you're afraid of water, he won't force you to take a dip, leaving you on the shore while he bathes for a little while, then coming back close to interact with you - something he much prefers and teasing you by giving you hugs while he’s still soaking wet.

Viper wasn't too happy to see how you ended up getting the HQ corridors wet on your way to the dorms, though.

❝Omen:

Omen doesn’t go out a lot.

He’s really self conscious about his appearance

In fact, it was very difficult to you to convince him to go on a date in first place.

It was very difficult to maintain a relationship with him in first place

So you deserve a wave of claps for this achievements

He wants to please you but it’s almost impossible to go out like normal people and that frustrates him.

So in order not to make him so uncomfortable, you preferred to have a “picnic” in your room, where no one would see you two.

It was quite…exotic, like you two. There was no basket or tablecloth, in fact, almost nothing reminded of a picnic at all other than the two of you sitting on the floor eating snacks.

Can Omen drink or eat at all?

Anyway, you really liked your choice of sandwiches, fruits, cakes and juices.

It was a quiet, intimate moment of the two of you, sharing food mostly in silence, occasionally sharing nice and funny stories and short comments about what you were going through and that just felt right, comfortable.

Omen isn't very vocal or transparent about what he's feeling, but you know he likes you and liked your idea.

If he could smile, he would be grinning from ear to ear right now, knowing that you care about him so much that you decided to have a picnic inside a closed, dimly lit room just to make him happy.

❝Viper:

Viper likes luxury, a calm and controlled environment;

Her dates are usually in extremely fancy restaurants and she always makes sure to pay for everything, you just need to be there and enjoy.

So when you suggest you'd like a picnic date, out in the middle of nature, something super simple and basic, she's horrified.

You can see the desperation in those green eyes.

She doesn't know how to execute the idea and for someone as methodical as Sabine, it's like living in a nightmare.

Brimstone decided to help with suggestions and little by little she manages to come up with a plan that would work.

It had been a while since you had any news about the date and since she didn't seem to be very excited about the idea, you assumed that she gave up

Until she takes you to a park in downtown Seattle and there it is, under a large tree, on a red and white checkered towel, a little woven basket, full of homemade foods for the two of you to enjoy.

It may not look like it, but she cooks really well and she made all the dishes herself, including the beverages, all natural.

She wasn't very excited about the idea at first, but being there with you, getting some air and eating all that..she started to like it

The smile on her face and the laugh she let out every now and then, you haven't seen her so happy in a long time. The tension of having to prepare everything just melted away and she seemed content to enjoy it with you.

You were very grateful for the effort, giving her lots of thank you kisses afterwards;

A/N: Hi! It's been a while! I hope you've had a wonderful New Year and a fantastic winter holiday/winter in general, my lovely customers! I'll be wrapping up some orders before diving back into my October series! ❤️

Further A/N: It was my birthday on the 31st December and I've just come back from the Philippines. I was dealing with a couple things but I'm hoping to get back into writing! This was just a fun, little thing I thought of while out in London. There was a Wendy's and a Taco Bell and those things are hard to come by here in the UK, haha- and so naturally it evolved into fast food habits nobody asked for.

Of course if you do any of these combos, more power to you! This is all in jest and I just wanted to write a light-hearted comedy/joke piece :D

Neon: Cuts a donut in half and then sandwiches her McDonald's apple pie with it. It helps with her sweet tooth and she swears it's the perfect dessert combo. Will also make you one in an effort to get you to appreciate this sugary goodness as much as she does. She might also wink and say it's not as sweet as you... and then cover her face with a hand because she can't believe she just said that

Killjoy: Puts chicken nuggets in her chicken sandwich and if you tell her that's too much chicken for the bread to filling ratio, she'll just add more out of amusement. If you encourage her? She'll get you to help her put as much chicken as possible in there

Raze: Mixes all the sauces together. All of them. And then she will ask you to grab more sauces/your leftover sauces. Sauces are boring on their own apparently. If you ever raise an eyebrow at that, she'll just shrug and tell you not to bash it ‘till you try it. Somehow it doesn't taste bad at all

Jett: Puts chicken nuggets and other random fillings from different fast food joints on pizza and then folds it like a calzone. Has and will defend this to the end of time. If you ask her why she doesn't just make her own custom pizza/calzone, she says it doesn't taste the same

Chamber: Puts onion rings and fries in his burger. It's not really a sin, but he genuinely thinks this is a weird combination/thing to do so he never does it in front of people. He'll wait for you to go to the bathroom or something, and then add them in. Might steal your onion rings and/or fries too while you're gone. I'll cut him some slack, only because he doesn't really eat enough fast food to know the common food 'hacks'.

Harbor: Eats the fillet-o-fish and a random other burger/sandwich combined. If you give him a look, he will take another bite slowly and chew obnoxiously with a smug look. He does the exaggerated "mmm" too and closes his eyes just to hear you laugh and roll your eyes

Sage: Likes the good ol' fries in the milkshake and pineapple on pizza. She really likes the salty-sweet combos and has more of a sweet tooth than she'd like to admit. She also thinks the fruit/shakes help(s) make fast food feel less greasy

Reyna: Uses human blood as ketchup She mixes coffee and soda together to feel something. You don't even question her, mostly because she refuses to explain herself and doesn't feel the need to. She'll just shrug, smile and then offer you a taste- saying it's like devouring a soul. It tastes like battery acid

Viper: Doesn’t commit food sins but she did try to poison someone’s fast food. She just wanted to test out a weaker poison she had on hand, and decided her target would be that one person who wouldn't take a hint and leave you alone. Never leave your food unattended around her, especially if you're going to blatantly annoy her S/O.

Phoenix: Puts popcorn chicken in his munchkin donuts. He claims to be a food connoisseur every time you question it, and that it'll catch on as a food trend one day. You tried it once and didn't know how to feel about the fact you didn't hate it. He gets really excited every time he gets this particular combo and you can't help but smile at his childlike giddiness

Yoru: Probably puts salt in his cheap coffee, it tastes awful but he does it anyway- maybe out of spite. He got the salt from the tears of his enemies. He never stopped to consider that just because he could, maybe he shouldn't. You don't say anything because the last time you did, he drank it faster and then got another

“Oi, [Name], You wanna take care of these lil guys for a bit?” Gekko offers to you. He’ll be busy doing some personal things for a while and he wants to lend you the responsibility of taking care of them while he’s away. The offer is way too good to deny so, why the hell not?

“Sure man! But uhm, how long will you be busy?” You ask back, just wanting to make sure how much time you have with them and such.

“Hm.. Just for a few hours, roughly three to five. You still up for it?” He asks, just to be certain.

“Mhm. I’ll take care of these critters well!” You and Wingman share a highfive.

“Alright, they’re all yours, See ya!”

And just like that, You have the critters all to yourself for those sweet sweet three to five hours. It's fun being with them, even when doing the most mundane things like taking out some trash, sorting out some things in the Radiant Entertainment System, and playing around with some new tech.

To kill some time, you decided to cook some food for yourself. You take the critters along with you as you make your way to the kitchen. You see Wingman helping you get some of the ingredients, and you reward him with a nice head rub. Right when you were about to place some of the ingredients into a bowl, you feel someone hug you from behind. Their large figure, strong arms, and ancient relic tell you all you need as you giggle from the strong hold.

"Hey Varun. Missed me already?" You tease as you nuzzle your head back into his chest. You hear a low chuckle from the man behind you.

"I missed your attention, mere pyaar." You could hear the smile in Harbor's voice as he responds back, resting his hands on your waist.

"Sorry, was too busy with.. crittersitting duties. I'll make up for it, I promise. Now, let me keep cooking.” You laugh softly as you continue making your food.

"You continue, I won't stop you.." Harbor kisses the back of your neck as he holds you a bit tighter, but not tight enough to restrict your movement.

The kisses send warm shivers down your spine, causing you to giggle at his antics. "You're quite clingy.. were you jealous of these little guys because they had most of my attention for the past 3 hours?"

Harbor stops for a bit before chuckling once more. "Well if you put it that way, yes I was. But at least I have your attention now~" He said before kissing the top of your head.

You chuckle back, amused by him. "Well, the little guys would love your presence now, right guys?" You look back at the critters as they nod in response, making the both of you smile at the cute display.

“Wouldn't hurt to stick around then. Now, let me help you with the cooking." Harbor pulls away from you to help out, and it seems that Wingman is also lending a hand.

After a while of "crittersitting", Gekko comes back to base and goes to find you. He was going to check your room to see if you were there but then he sees you, Harbor, and his buddies napping on a couch, peacefully asleep.

Valorant Agents Being Jealous

A/N: More Valorant fluff, been falling deeper into this rabbit hole lately.

Yoru is pretty much a sweetheart but he keeps up his bad boy persona a lot. He doesn't get jealous over random people but he does get a little jealous when people hover around you a lot, that's when he gets really protective. With his tough guy persona it's really easy to scare people off so there's never any need for him to get threatening.

Sova has the kind of attitude which always has him watching you like a hawk, or owl as is his name. He will gets flustered easily mind you but if he gets jealous, if he sees that there's someone hitting on you while he's made it clear that you're together his eyes will turn from shining with joy to cold as ice in a split second.

Phoenix is very openly affectionate and in general not a jealous guy. If there's someone flirting with you he'll casually walk up to you, wrap his arm around you and call you babe, a happy smile on his face all the while. He won't get angry over others flirting with you unless they're being pushy, otherwise he's just happy to show off how good the two of you are together.

Viper is someone you really don't want to make jealous. She makes it very clear when she doesn't like others staring at you. Her jealous side is something that she's trying to rein in a little because she knows that you'd never go after someone else, but at the same time she's seen how people look at you, almost like she does but with none of the love, all lust. She will stare right into the person she's jealous off while she hold you against her and whispers sweet nothings into your ear.

Reyna deals with jealousy by making the other person more jealous. She'll pull you against her, into her lap, kiss your lips, your neck, leave her lipstick all over you as a mark. She will make you squirm and make sure everyone sees it, who you're with, who you belong to. It's something she gets a real thrill out of.

Fade is extremely protective over you and that can and has mixed with jealousy at times. She thinks it's a little petty but she has used her fear powers before on people who blatantly ignored that you walked in with her and thought they could steal you from her. She doesn't resort to her powers if her presence alone can do the trick, when it can't it's time for a few nightmares.

Chamber can be one jealous man. He's not hiding it either, would never dream of it. He's very openly affectionate with you, especially around those he's jealous of. Not easy to calm down either, not when he can see the look in other people's eyes, the looks that he gives you, that only he should give you. Tries to handle things quietly and behind the scenes, he doesn't want to cause trouble in public.

Skye denies being jealous. It's very obvious when she is because that's when she gets extra protective and extra snuggly when she has you all to herself. Easily embarrassed about it as well but because of her big, imposing frame all she's ever had to do was walk up to you and let you give her a kiss and she's as happy as can be while watching whoever she's jealous of get bashful and walk away.

Jett would never let her jealousy show in public because she knows it would open her for a lot of teasing from the other Agents. Instead she handles it in private with you, letting you know that she trusts you, with her life in fact, but not the people who were so blatantly flirting with you all night. Blushes when you point out that she was the one flirting the most and the one who whisked you away in the middle of a conversation to slow dance with you. She's not as sneaky as she thought.

Harbor is more protective then he is jealous. As someone who travels a lot of course he knows you talk to a lot of people but that's why when he leaves he makes sure to leave lots of hickies on your neck that will stay for days. He does this when you're out in public sometimes as well, in his mind there's no bad time to express his love and devotion for you. It's just a bonus if someone sees and takes the hint to keep walking.

Even as the months passed and Fade officially joined the team, the nightmares never let up. If anything they got worse. You didn’t know what you had done to her to warrant this kind of behaviour. You tried to stray from being around her, but it often ended in failure.

And this seemed to become noticeable a few weeks ago,but no one knew how to confront either of you on it. For you it could’ve been a variety of things that have kept you up late over the nights. And for Fade, they couldn’t pin it on her, as you’ve had these before.

But this night the nightmares became worse, to the point you shut everyone out. Every device that could’ve been used to contact you was either shut off or straight up removed from your room. All the lights had been turned off, except that let you in the dark, Fade’s domain.

Allowing the nightmares to double until you couldn’t handle them alone anymore. Stumbling out of your room with a blanket in tow, hearing your door shut and lock before you continued on. Right now your mind was in shambles, forcing you to look and read every name you came across.

Until you found the right one, pausing and debating. Should you bother Varun with this? You turned to leave before the door slid open, revealing said partner. His eyes scan your form.

“मेरा मोती…” His hands slowly reached out to land on your shoulders before pulling you close, letting you melt into his embrace. “Do you want to spend the night?”

You nodded into his chest, allowing him to bring you inside. His arms hold you close as you hear the doors shut. Soon enough you felt his blankets on your back as he laid at your side.

He let you move as you wanted, which had you curling into his embrace and chest. Wrapping your blanket over you before his own, keeping his arm wrapped around you.

Just a drop in the ocean (Harbor x Reader)

Summary: You and your team were sent to capture a spy leaking the Protocol's data. Everything goes well, untill during your fight you end up in the water unable to move.

It really was a challange for me to not put any "wet" jokes.

Capture-like missions weren't usually the easiest ones. This time, especially, when you were sent by Brimstone to capture a spy who the protocol suspects had been leaking the information and sabotaging your missions for a while now.

"We can't risk failure this time" Sage's voice stated the moment you were about to leave the jet.

"Aye" you gave in an answer, and so did the rest of the team: Phoenix, Harbor, and Reyna.

"Oh, and Phoenix-" she added "Don't burn them up this time. We need them alive"

You snorted. "Won't be that easy"

"Hey! Come on guys! I can do this." Phoenix said confidentially, narrowing his eyebrows.

"Don't worry we're just messin' with you" Harbor added, giving a silent laugh. After that, he glanced your way "And you, try not to get yourself killed this time yeah?"

"Me? Huh."

"Yes, you." His look changed to a bit more focused and serious. Ever since the mission you almost died on, he kept reminding you to take care and be careful. It was his way of showing, that he cares about you, and you liked that. On the other hand, you didn't trust it. No one has ever worried about you like he did, and no one actually cared, if you live or not.

"Alright team!" Sage interrupted your conversation, gathering the team in a circle. "Me and Harbor are gonna cover the western buildings" She stated. Harbor nodded his head, reaching for his rifle. "Reyna, you take the bridge, and you two-" She pointed to you and Phoenix "Take the eastern side"

"Wouldn't it be wiser if we had two of us on the bridge?" You asked, because the map was showing that the coast you had to cover was way to small for 2 people"

"It would..." Sage answered, having one more look on the map. "But considering the data, I wouldn't risk a fight there. It's an old bridge, narrow, a gun fight there won't be a good idea" After a pause, she looked at every one of you. "And be careful. The area is flooded, it's not the best combat ground."

Before you all spread your ways, Harbor approached you, grabbing your arm. "Hey" he started "Be careful this time, I mean that" he then said, with a little bit of worry in his words. "If anything happens to, you'll owe me, let's make it this way" He smiled

"I will. You take care too" you gave in an answer, giving him a confident smile "To make this deal fair, you'll owe me too if you get even a simple scratch"

"Okay... that's a little unfair" He chuckled, turned around and ran to Sage as she already was going to her point.

You and Phoenix made your way to the eastern area as commanded by your sentinel. The place wasn't too big - there were some abandoned fishing hoots, boats, everything in a reach of your sight. You definitely could feel this "spicy" smell of the sea. Nothing weird - you could almost say, that you were in a city on on the sea, since the water went really far comparing to the last time you were there.

"We're clear here" Phoenix said through the calls, scanning the surroundings with his eyes. You did the same, you didn't want to miss any detail.

"Wait" you stopped, as something cought your eye. "They were here..." There was one building that seemed to be still in a good condition, and as it turned out, probably someone has been there not long time ago, since there was a candle lighten up inside.

"I'm coming in" You redied your gun, and as you opened the door, you took a fast peek. The building was empty, but there was a lot of weapons in it. Seemed like their temporary base. "Clear."

"Damn that's lotta ammo" Phoenix said, coming inside. For a few minutes more you've been looking for anything suspicious or any clues in the building and outside of it, when suddenly both of you were called to help.

"Team! we need backup here!" It was Sage's voice, repressed by shooting noises.

"Im coming, hang in there! Phoenix stay where you are, Y/n take over the bridge for me" Reyna commanded, as she rushed to help on the west.

Immidiately, you started running as fast as possible to take the bridge and eventually stop the enemies from coming to the western side - if there were any. When you finally reached it, you understood, why did Sage commad only one person to go there. It was so narrow and destroyed, that there was no chance for an open fight. Maybe one v one, but for both sides this would be very risky.

You were carefully crossing the bridge, holding your weapon tight in your hands. You checked every corner, every ruined structure, yet there was nothing. It made you think, that there was no way that someone could be here, but you.

"And who do we have here" you heard, suddenly, from behind your back. You turned around, stressed out, and saw exactly the same person who you've noticed on the cameras breaking in the information cenre in your base.

"Guys, we have a problem" you said through the calls "I can see the target"

"Don't let her run away" Sage answered, occupied with a fight

"I don't think she'll run"

As you made your way towards the target, you realoaded your gun and supported it on your arm, waiting for the first move. The target, who when you came closer turned out to be some woman, smiled, as she started slowly coming your way. She was all dressed black, her clothes a little bit used. Her eyes were unnaturally yellow, glowing, which was suspicious. Was she a radiant?

As the woman came too close, you redied your gun and stoop up ready for a fight "You want the hard way huh?"

She laughed. "How cute you are" The woman redied her gun "Tell me, do you like to swim darling?" You took a look around. You were a bit far away from the shore, and the water around seemed to be deep already. Well, the whole area was flooded as hell, and the sea was further than ever. Yay! water cities. You wouldn't be surprised if a few years ago there still were some buildings under the bridge.

"Well" you smiled, and said in confidence "I didn't plan any swimming lessons for today"

"Let's start one then" The woman took a firt shot, missing it, making you shoot thowards her and take cover. The only cover around. Gun fighting there was no use. The bridge was an dead end, and the only way out was past the enemy.

"I might need some help over here, the area is shitty and im stuck right now" you quickly said through the calls giving a few shots to the enemy, which she dodged by shifting into the shadow.

What the fuck - you thought. She really was a radiant. Which made the fight even more dangerous for you now, since you weren't. "Fuck, she's doing crazy stuff over here guys"

"Keep her occupied just a little more, we've pushed them back. Comin' your way" It was Harbor's voice. Your favorite.

"Don't make me wait for too long" You didn't want to fuck up now. You promised Harbor that you won't let anything bad happen to you, yet you again were in a situation that wasn't safe for you.

"Remember what I told you Raindrop." Raindrop? You never heard this coming out of Harbor's mouth, but it sounded kinda cute in your head.

Suddenly the woman disappeared from your sight. You freaked out a little bit inside.

"Well, well well" A silent voice appeared behind your head. A strong shiver ran thorugh your spine. You turned around as fast as possible. She was there. Right before your eyes. You tried to shoot, but she didn't even let you, when she knocked you out, and ripped the weapon out of your hands.

"Say hello to the fishies from me. I've heard they're hungry today" She smiled, pushing you from the bridge. As you were falling towards the water, you knew, you're fucked up.

A great cold hit your body when you hit the water. You tried to keep your head above the water, but you could feel your body wanting to go down. You started to gasp for air. "Guys!" You gasped "I need help!" The message was interrupted by the sound of waves and splashes of water.

"We're almost there talk to me!" said Sage.

There was no way you couldn't give an understandable answer now. You were struggling too much right now, your body almost giving up. You only tended to say one more sentence, before you couldn't fight the waves anymore. "Under... the bridge"

When your body went down, all you could see was the disappearing light, as you were getting deeper, and deeper, struggling to get higher. You tried, but all you did was just waste the air that was left in your lungs. You couldn't swim. You never could, you never learned. Soon your vision started to fade, and the water started to fill your lungs.

As your eyes started to close, and your lungs gave up, what's been left of the light dissapeared.

So this is how I die, huh

Still conscious, you felt something grab your waist. You weren't going deeper. You were going upwards.

After a few seconds a strong light blinded your eyes. You gasped for the air, but hardly, as you felt a huge pain in your throat and lungs. Your body felt heavy, and everything around seemed to move two times slower. With your blurred, fading vision, fighting for a breath, you noticed strong hands, leading you to the shore.

"Don't let any more water get inside, Y/n" it was Harbors voice. It was him who cought you, it was him swimming to get you to the shore. Fighting for air, choking with the water in your mouth, your vision started to fade second by second, in the end, making you unconscious. Your body suddenly wanted to go down again.

"Hey, hey, hey we had a deal!" Harbor said to you, holding you tighter and making his way out of the deep water.

When your savior was close enough to it, and he could stand on the bottom, he grabbed you running and then placed on the ground. He placed your body in a safe position, checking your pulse. It was weak, almost undetectable. "Hang in there little Raindrop"

The moment he wanted to take actions to bring you back, your eyes opened. Momentarily you moved to your side, coughing out the water that was inside you. You were gasping for air, and when Harbor saw you struggling, he came closer to hold you and control the situation.

"It's okay. Let it leave" His hand run over your forehead, taking the wet hair covering your eyes away. After a while there was no more water in you anymore, but you felt like you forgot to breath, which the man noticed.

"Easy, easy." He said quietly. The way he used his voice, helped you not to freak out. "Take a deep breath, slowly"

Even though your body was refusing, you took a deep breath, like he told you. It might have been the most painful breath you've ever taken, but you still shakingly tried to let the air inside your lungs.

"That's it, now breathe out" he said, patting your arm with his hand. You breathed the air out, coughing in the end. It felt easier now. You started taking small, but effective enough breaths. Sage rushed to the two of you.

"Is she okay?!" She asked, ready to take action, kneeling before you, looking for any damage.

"I'll be fine." you said, quietly, as you took another breath. Sage let out a silent sigh.

You took a look at Harbor. His face was worried, but on the other hand, beautiful. Despite the fact that you almost drowned minutes ago, your eyes liked the way his body looked with clothes soaked, water dripping from his whole body. Especially his hair. God his hair.

You tried to stand up, weak, and shaking from the cold. The world started to spin around you, you felt dizzy, and still had this feeling that you were filled with the liquid. The moment you lost your balance, you felt Harbor's arms grabbing you around, catching you.

"Na-ah that won't work" He made eye contact with you. As you looked to your left, you saw the woman who pushed you from the bridge. She was tangled and unconsious.

"Don't worry about her, she won't do anything" Harbor ensured you, giving her an angry look. "Let's go back?" he added, letting you hold on to him. You nodded your head.

On your way back Harbor's main goal was to make sure that you are warm and comfortable. He kept asking you wether you still feel dizzy, how is your breathing, and does it hurt. You found a bit annoying, but on the other hand, cute, so you just let him do that. The way back wasn't too long, but for you it felt like ages. All you wanted now is to hide in your warm bed, dry and safe.

When you were back in the base, the first thing you did was take a long, warm shower. You came back to your room, and changed your clothes to the dry ones. Since you've started feeling a little bit under the weather, you wore a hoodie, warm leggings and your favorite fluffly socks. The moment you sat on your bed, you heard someone knocking, or actually hitting the door of your room.

"Come in!" you shouted, and the doors opened. You saw Harbor, holding two cups in his hands.

"Took your favorite blankie!" You noticed a blanked on his arm, as he walked in, closing the door with his leg. "You better drink something warm, little Raindrop" The way he said that made you give him a killer's look.

"... Call me little one more time and we'll start talking different" You defended yourself.

"But you like the Raindrop part, right?" he teased you. When he put the cups on your bed table, you stood up, with a little blush forming on your cheeks. "It's... It's fine" you said. Harbor took the the blanket off and wrapped it around you.

"Thank you" you murmured, catching eye contact with him. "And thank you for saving me then" you added, a bit troubled. "Actually I should be apoligizing to you, I promised you..." you didn't continue, you weren't sure how to hold this conversation.

Harbor knew you didn't feel good about this situation, which wasn't weird at all. He didn't say a word. Instead, he just slowly came closer to you, and wrapped his strong arms around you.

"It wasn't your fault." He softly answered. "What matters to me is that you're alive, okay?" It was hard for you to say anything more. At this moment, you felt important, you felt as someone worthy - which was still a rare, and luxury feeling you. You didn't have a lot of that in your life.

"Hey is everything okay?" Harbor broke your silence, leaning his head to see yours.

"Yeah... I'm sorry. I'm just not used to people actually caring about me" You hummed

What you said, hit him somehow. You could see it thorugh his troubled-like face expression.

"I do care about you" he then said, giving you a warm smile. "I made your favorite tea. I mean, I tried, not sure if that's yours top tea" he said, letting you go.

You grabbed the tea cup and sat on the edge of your bed, inviting him under the blanket, raising your arm. "Come on, you need to warm up too" Your friend took his tea and sat under the blanket. You took a sip of your tea.

"It actually is my favorite." A little smile appeared on your face again.

"I knew it!" He was so happy, it made you giggle inside. "By the way, you owe me" He continued

"No I don't" You argued

"Yes you do" You perfectly knew what he meant.

"Okay, okay, what do you want me to do?" You asked, taking another sip.

"Hmm... let's think... somethin' not easy" he teased you, having a little smirk.

"Oh come on!" you delicately hit him on his arm for fun.

"Awww don't tickle me" he teased you again, and you gave him an agressive yet cute look. You didn't even try to tickle him. He was just being adorably teasy.

"Alright! Alright, I don't want to be tickled to death. Let's say, you'll learn to swim." he said. You raised one of your eyebrows. "And how the hell I'm gonna to that" you asked, staring at him with confusion

"I'll teach you" Harbor smiled "In case you decide to drown again."

"Hey, that's not funny!" you snorted.

"I'm sorry" the man chuckled, and took a sip of the tea. "But I don't want you to go through something like that again"

He really... took you seriously - you thought. He really did care about you. He didn't want anything bad to happen to you. You felt weird warmth in your chest, not being able to say, what does it mean. The only thing you knew, was that you felt good, and no matter what the emotion was, you wanted to keep it.

When you finished your tea, you spent with Harbor whole minutes, talking your life stories, laughing, teasing eachother. You really liked being around him.

"Alright Y/n, you better get some rest" Harbor stood up, and took the empty tea cups.

"We're free tomorrow, right?" You underlined. "Why won't we spend a little bit more time?" Harbor looked at you. He couldn't say no to this asking face of yours.

"'Kay, just let me grab one more tea" He smiled, and left the room with the cups. You've decided to close your eyes, to give them a few minutes of rest while you were waiting for him. When Harbor came back into the room though, he found you already sleeping. He sighed, and came closer to wrap the blanket around you.

"You better sleep like that the wole night... you little." Luckily for him, this time you didn't hear him saying the word "little"

It's impressive how easily he learns the new language, in no time he already pronounces each syllable like a native
