I’ve written about half of the next chapter. It’s a bit clunky in the middle so I’ve been kind of marinating on how I want to format that bit. I pretty much know how I’m going to fix that and should be working on the second half soon.

I’m a mom to four kids (three are autistic, like me) and a lot of the time caring for them leaves me without a lot of creativity energy.

I’ve been a bit blue, which is normal for me this time of year. When I’m depressed I tend to pull into myself and just read a lot. I get extra needy and tend to isolate to avoid putting that on others.

Most shows I’ve seen that mention fan fiction readers/writers portray them as kinda oddball super-geeks with no lives or social skills.

So I wanna take a moment to appreciate the fact that in Parks & Recreation, the character who writes fan fiction is the intelligent, successful, and good-looking primary love interest of the main character.

Also I want to read the full fic he wrote.
