Dedication Ritual
1 black candle
1 white candle
Cauldron
Light candles from cauldron fire.
All spirits come who will.
All spirits of good and ill.
Stoke within me my cunning skill.
Here, now, grant me power.
This is my will.
Fae-folk:
I speak to you.
Let me work my will as you do.
Land spirits and spirits of place:
Lend me your guiding hand.
Empower me to work my will as you do.
Mighty dead:
You witches and cunning folk-all,
I ask of you:
Hold open the gates,
for I will need your guidance and counsel.
Ancestors:
Blood of my blood.
Though I walk a different path,
I welcome you by my side.
Whisper to me the offerings you desire,
So I may support you in kind.
All ye familiars of the elements :
Hare.
Grant me the powers of Earth.
Crow.
Grant me the powers of Air.
Serpent.
Grant me the powers of fire.
Toad.
Grant me the powers of water.
All you spirits unknown and unnamed,
Commune with me.
I [NAME] do promise to
always respect the spirits and the physical realm in which I reside
to the best that I am able.
I cannot promise to never bring offense but I can promise it is never my intention.
I ask that you all aid me in maintaining and strengthening my witching fire.
I vow to give as I am able as thanks and reciprocity.
This is my oath.
So Mote It Be.
Let the candles burn down. Eat, drink, replenish energy. Do the work. Close the circle when the candles are completely burnt down.

The Pagan Psalm 91
Hey guys, gals and others! Rue here with my first contribution to the Grimoire. For some background, I HAD (important past tense there) a malevolent spirit attached to me for as long as I can remember. He used to appear in my dreams and terrify me before I even realized what Magick was.
He was attached to my multiple traumas that I have experienced and it took me 31 years to realize that I had developed a sort of Stockholm Syndrome to this entity and thought I truly deserved no happiness or relief from my mental illnesses. Thanks to Magick and my wonderful hubby who introduced me to it, I was able to exorcise this spirit by Bell, Book and Candle and finally be free to truly grow into the amazing Witch I am today.
For the Book portion of the exorcism, I can only say I received “divine” intervention from my Patroness Lilith. Having been indoctrinated into the Catholic Church as a wee babe, and living through 16 years of Catholic education, Psalm 91 always spoke to me more than other scripture. So I decided to edit this Psalm in honor of my Patroness and with her assistance I was able to break free from my trauma bonds.
So enough rambling! On to the Prayer!
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the other will rest in the shadow of Lilith. I will say of them, “They are my refuge and my fortress, my Goddess, in whom I trust.”
Surely, they will save me from the hunter’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
They will cover you with their feathers, and under their wings you will find refuge; their faithfulness will be my sword and shield. I will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at their side, ten thousand at their right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only observe with their eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “Lilith is my refuge,” and you make Witchcraft your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For they will command their legions concerning you, to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against the stone. No evils may move against you and yours.
“Because they love me” says Lilith, “I will rescue them; I will protect them, for they acknowledge my name. They will call on me, and I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will deliver them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them and show them my salvation.”

Personal Sovereignty & Bodily Autonomy
This spell was written by James “Raven” Stefanowicz as a direct response to the US Supreme Court overturning of Roe v. Wade. This spell was first cast during a Full Moon Ritual on 7/13/22.
You will need:
Black Chime Candle
Protection Herbal Blend
Protection Oil (preferably “Fiery Wall”)
Printed or Hand-Drawn Copy of the Spell Sigil
Fiery Wall of Protection Oil:
Sandalwood
Cinnamon
Rue
Frankincense
Myrrh
Dragon’s Blood
St. John’s Wort
Bay
Lightning Struck Oak Wood
Preparation:
Prepare the sigil by taking it into your right hand and blowing on it. As you do, visualize your breath as electric blue moonlight, lighting up each line of the sigil until the entire design is glowing.
Once the sigil is empowered, place it down and anoint its four corners and center with the Protection Oil.
Place the sigil aside for now.
Take the candle into your left hand and anoint it (from bottom to top) with the Protection Oil using your right. Once anointed, hold it in both hands until you feel its charge.
Set the sigil down on a flat surface and place the candle directly on top.
Encircle the sigil and candle with the Protection Herbal Blend. Make sure there are no holes.
Incantation
Repeat 3x
“By candle flame and the Full Moon’s light,
We speak these names into the night.
Cernunnos, Morrigan, aid our spell,
As gross injustice we now quell.
By Fire, Water, Air, and Earth,
We protect the rights of those who birth.
And by the witches sacred connection,
We create a wall of divine protection.
A Glowing Wall,
A Flowing Wall,
A Knowing Wall,
We Raise.
A Fiery Wall,
A Briary Wall,
To protect them all their days.
From ill-fitted bonds we set them free,
And grant them swift justice and sovereignty!
Let now the hands of the wicked be bound,
Like stem to root and root to ground.
No force shall break this wall of protection,
Nor poison the waters of coming elections.
By Rising Moon and Setting Sun,
The spell is cast,
So be it done!”

Circle Casting
And we’re back again folks! This time with my own personal spell for casting a magickal arts circle. This was one of the first things I learned about when I was just beginning on my Pagan path. I absolutely love the idea of calling on whatever spirits/entities you feel personally drawn too and that is shown below.
I call to the spirits of the East Ethos of wind, fly to us Wrap us in your strong wings, anima of the falcon
Aid us in this pagan rite
I call to the spirits of the South Ethos of fire, surround us in your warmth Lend us your unique cunning, anima of the salamander
Aid us in this pagan rite
I call to the spirits of the West Ethos of water, bathe us in your knowledge Keep us playful as well as resolute, anima of the otter
Aid us in this pagan rite
I call to the spirits of the North Ethos of earth, ground us, protect us Anima of the mighty horse, guide us true
Aid us in this pagan rite
Ancestors old and new, deities far and wide, and nature spirits from all around We welcome you to this circle of arte
Aid us if you please, stay if you will
THE CIRCLE IS CAST…SO MOTE IT BE

Consecrated blade
Cord, string, ribbon (black, red, white)
Parchment, or velum, or papyrus
Consecrated writing tool
(optional) a personal concern of the target (nails, hair, spit, blood, cigarette butt)
Write the name of the person to be bound 5x in a row. Then turn the paper Widdershins (counter-clockwise) once and write your own name over theirs blotting it out while chanting:
“Power of Earth have I over thee,
Power of Air have I over thee,

All while visualizing yourself in control of their very mind body and spirit.
Wrap the name paper around the sharpened blade and begin to bind it to the Blade with the cord. As you do say the following words as you visualize the target of the spell bound up and every time they go to make a move they are harmed.
“Bound on a Knife’s edge are you,
Bound, bound are you by me.
A knife in your tongue
For ill talk,
A knife in your eye for ill
Glances,
A knife in your hands for ill
Actions ,
A knife in your back for ill
Deceptions.
A Knife in your feet for ill
Movements
Bound on Knife’s edge are you,
Bound, bound are you by me.
☆
Speak no evil,
Do no ill
Your tongue and hands be still
As I bind this my will.

Banish Anxiety
This spell is not intended to replace anti-anxiety medications or therapy, nor is it intended to be a permanent banishment of anxiety. This spell is best utilized for short term goals (an important test, for example) that you need a little extra boost to get rid of that nagging anxiety voice in your head.
Tools
Orange Candle
Palo Santo
Dragon’s Blood Incense
Paper and Pencil
Black Pepper
Juniper Berries
Onion powder
Basil Water
Bowl
Spell
Light the candle and incense. Cleanse body with palo santo and face with basil water. On the piece of paper write the moment that caused you the most anxiety. Do not share this. Simply write it down and fold the paper in half. And half again. Continue folding in half until you can’t anymore. Each time you fold it, think loud and clear in your head,
“You have no power over me ANYMORE!”
Throw the little pieces of paper in a bowl. Throw black pepper, juniper berries, and onion powder on top. (Mullein and cloves good substitutes.) Light on fire from candle flame. As they burn imagine all negativity, stress and bad vibes be burnt away. While focusing on the flames in front of you as well as inside, chant:
As my fears burn, so do I, Free at last!
Repeat as many times as necessary.
When finished take a moment to breath deeply, drink water, and feel at peace.

Blades of Revealing Light
(Yes, this spell is inspired by the Yugioh card: Swords of Revealing Light).
Cast this spell when the sun is at its peak. If you must do this spell when there is none or limited sunlight, brighten the space with as many light sources as safely possible.
Materials:
Three blades
Light source
Flat surface that can be heavily scratched
Deck of cartomancy cards of your choice
Bathe the blades in the light source for as long as you feel is necessary to charge them.
Using a deck of your choice, draw three cards facedown.
Assign a blade to each card and pass the blade over each card as you turn it face up.
If you only have one blade, pass the blade over each card as you turn it face up.
These cards represent your adversary’s intentions.
Drive a blade through each of the cards, saying:
By these blades three, bathed in light,
My foe’s intentions; reveal to me in plain sight.
My strike is true,
my blades are sharp.
I bind my foe from executing these acts
by the power of mine magick Arte.
If you don’t have three blades, stack the cards on top of each other and drive the blade through the stack three times. Change the first line of the incantation to read: “By this blade, thrice-bathed in light”
If you don’t want to damage your cards, create three placeholder cards with paper or cardboard representing the cards you pulled.
Using your hand, wand, or other implement of choice, draw this sygil over the pinned cards to seal the spell.
