It’s a good thing I found something to do with all that sugar so quick. I’m not an expert at sweet tea or anything but it tastes pretty good with hot dogs and burgers?

I might’ve taken a few pictures for my Snapchat that I could send you - my friends at university think it’s funny. Good to know I’m not the only one that destroys things in the kitchen - though I should probably have this down by now since it’s part of the job description.

Do you have a picture of the ice cream on the ceiling? I sort of want to send it to my husband. I didn’t destroy anything in the kitchen today. He’s going to be so disappointed.

Good to know it’s not just me - I was trying to be nice, and I even followed the directions I asked you for before uh - but the next thing I knew I was covered in malt powder and who knows what else. But there was some left in the cup the second time so I think I’m getting close. 

That’s not your fault. Ol’ Betty is a temperamental one.

My morning was going pretty great until my sister sent me a picture of a caramel cocoa cluster. I was gonna get her back with a picture of a perfect milkshake but that kinda backfired. I’m not even sure how I managed to get ice cream on the ceiling.

You were only nineteen? Wow - I mean, I know lots of CEOs and stuff start off really young but they usually know what they’re doing. It’s good to know I’m not the only one that’s making some business mistakes - or a lot of them anyway. Thanks. 

And I don’t know if I can donate a bunch of sugar - but maybe I can figure out something to do with all of it that’s giving back. I’ve already been told that I can make a ton of milkshakes - maybe that could be a thing. 

Yep. The Neutral Ground is all mine. I started the business when I was nineteen, actually. Many mistakes were made, but it all added up to what I have now. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and I bet the same will be true for you.

I donated the beans and my barista skills to a school fundraiser. All the profits went to the community that night and it was too late for anyone to really want caffeine. There’s nothing like giving back that gets Crystalmont back on your side.

I’m kinda still getting a hang of that machine, actually. But I’m totally getting there! I know I should get it down before the big summer crowds, I wouldn’t want to cause any riots. Oh, good, I can always jus store it somewhere if I can’t get rid of. But I’ll definitely give the cupcakes a call, too. Thanks for the pointer. 

Just make a lot of milkshakes. Which, I’m sure, you’ll have no problem doing. Since this place is famous for them and it’s summer time. I don’t think sugar expires. It shouldn’t expire. Yeah, it is!

Really? And - I mean, you run the coffee shop right? That actually kinda makes me feel better, I thought I screwed up pretty royally. I mean, I did but - thanks. At least I didn’t order the wrong kind of potato fries or something. Yet. I’ll make sure I never screw coffee up though, I’m on thin ice already apparently. How’d you manage to get rid of all those decaf beans?

When I first started out? I once accidentally ordered only decaf coffee beans. For a week, I thought the town was going to kill me. Caffeine addicts are terrifying. Never mess with them. I almost can’t believe I’m still in business.

I mean, I’m technically not even allowed to drink - but no, I haven’t been drunk shopping. I was just trying to restock the backroom and kind of made a tiny mistake.

Even I don’t buy that much sugar. I hope you haven’t been drunk shopping, Ms. Carmichael. That never goes well for anybody.

Well I think they’re willing to take at least half of it back, but I’ll do that if I can’t get rid of all of it quick. I mean I could just keep it all but that’s a lot of space and - does sugar expire?  Uh - that’s the cupcake place, right?

Hm, if you’ve still got way too much sugar, you could see if Flo over at The Sugar Skulls would want to buy some from you. I mean, she does own a bakery.

So. Apparently nobody on yahoo answers has ever accidentally ordered twenty pallets of sugar instead of twenty bags. On the bright side, lots of begging for a refund works if you cry enough and take half of it in store credit.
