I find it so poetic and bittersweet that the 2016 revival of falsettos is not only reviving the show, but the story of Marvin and his family. Yet we don't get another chance to see them get a happy ending as it still ends the same as it did decades ago. It's a story of family and loss, and their harsh reality.

In the heart of Gaza, where conflict continues and humanitarian conditions deteriorate painfully, I work as a doctor in a hospital. Despite all my efforts to save lives, my greatest concern remains the suffering of my family.

Unfortunately, the situation for my family has become even more dire. Their home has been completely destroyed due to the bombings, leaving them homeless. Tragically, my grandfather was killed while going to check on our house. Additionally, they are struggling to secure basic necessities because I have not received a monthly salary recently, which exacerbates their suffering.

YES while I have a lot of touch boundaries around people I don't know I'm extremely comfortable around my close friends and I'd like to be able to without people just assuming I'm dating all of my friends and I know a lot about why amatonormativity is harmful already and I've researched the topic a lot but that doesn't stop people who aren't used to aroace people existing assuming things are inherently romantic and while I look back on some conversations I've had and genuinely just think they're really funny looking back on them but it's mainly confusing in the moment and it's also really irritating to just look at what society decides is romantic or even sexual instead of just letting people live without overly complicating things or making harmful assumptions that can just make things really complicated

I forget some people don't know I'm aroace sometimes like today a few hours ago I was about to pass out (iron deficiency blood test results are coming back in a few days I can finally hopefully actually fix that) and I was sort of lying on one of my friends because actually lying down would be an issue and sitting up was also an issue and another one of my friend's girlfriend (I think? I can't actually tell if people are joking when they say that or not and I can't pick up on social clues) just turns to us and goes "so are you two dating?" as a genuine question and I feel really bad because everyone that was there started dying laughing and she's pretty new to my friends and didn't know but I still thought it was really funny

also because that's not the first time someone's thought that about me and one of my friends, like when I was in the Scottish play I was getting out of school to go to vocal coaching and I was looking for my friend who I was going to take the subway with and I ran into the person playing banquo who I was talking to mainly because I was playing fleance and I asked him if he'd seen my friend and he asked if we were dating so I just said no and then for whatever reason his response was "you should be" which was weird both because I'm aroace and I thought he knew that and also because at the time my friend was dating someone and I still don't know what to think of that

those are the most notable instances of that but I've also been asked out way too many times and also because as mentioned earlier I can't pick up on social cues I've also been on dates before and not realised it because I was just thinking like "we're friends and we're just hanging out at a slightly nicer location than usual" and ashajdfasdf I need to start including that I'm aroace when I introduce myself to people or something because I also have multiple aroace pins on my bag for this exact reason and I mention it a lot and I think people just choose to ignore it

I am a fundraiser for my family in Gaza: my parents, sister and (3) brothers and their wives and children, as all of them live in a tent in khanyounes city after they displaced 4 times without any basic facilities. And they lost their jobs without any income. And our house is partially destroyed.
