I've had a Lot IRL lately, and haven't really been able to write at all. (So sorry frens)

That said.

I think it would be fun to have a food date for Tally/G'raha.

First maybe there on Sharlayan, maybe they go to the Bismark, and then Tally hauls him out to Kugane, too.

Just some happy in my brain being foodies.

So, my family all play the critically acclaimed mmorpg Final Fantasy XIV with free trial up to Stormblood and level 70 with no restrictions! And the dungeons in DT gave my sister seizures and we haven't been able to play since. She's still recovering. In the meantime, I have acquired Easy Eyes and I've been hammering away at the dungeons and trials of DawnTrail to make this shit actually safer for her to play. And obviously I'm finna share that hard work with all the migraineurs and epileptics that want to get through the game.

My plan is to work backwards (I started on the EW dungeons today) and get all the dungeons and trials safer. The norm and alliance raids are gonna take A While, mostly because I have to run them with people instead of the trust and there's so many more effects to sort through.

In the meantime, if you didn't know, EasyEyes is a plugin for Dalamud (ie it's a mod). You can import presets into it to block all the vfx in the preset without having to run the duty and manually block everything yourself. That's obviously not safe, hence me doing it. You can find it on xma (Safer DT Dungeons and Trials). It's a zip folder with each dungeon and trial labelled as individual presets. You just have to hit import and pick them, super easy.

Please be aware that it's super difficult to turn off vfx in the background, and I left a lot of small vfx untouched for aesthetic, but I very much took out everything glaringly obvious, or that my sister explicitly complained about, and more. Some of the vfx turned off are going to make it harder for you to position yourself to avoid attacks, so please keep that in mind, but safety trumps a healer's feelings!

I'll post each expac as I finish them and I sincerely hope more people are able to get back into the game because of my work.

okay this is spicy g'raha poem #2 i uhhh it is what it is lol. basically set directly after the end of EW. very suggestive content ahead also i used em dashes in the last stanza fight me about it it makes things make sense visually

✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ . 　⁺ 　 . ✦ the room feels too small roar from the northern seas chirping from the crickets and your voice viscous, heavy curling itself around my ears

there is nothing gentle in the way you pin me bedframe biting into my back fingers trembling over pink, puckered scars heat bleeding from your touch all that longing branded on my skin

centuries of summers caught between us winters you weathered chaining this need down but now i bear the brunt of it gnashing against me

and there is nothing gentle in the way you hook my legs over taut, broad arms mouth at my throat teeth ghosting over veins still thick with stardust

Soft prompts to make you YEARN

✭ brushing your thumb over their knuckles while you're both not saying a word, just existing quietly in the same space like it's the most sacred thing.

✭ them absentmindedly playing with the hem of your sleeve because they want to touch you but aren’t ready to say it yet.

✭ “can i kiss you?” whispered like they’re afraid the moment might shatter if they speak too loud.
