...Man I just wanted to scroll through tumblr not learn about the horrific history my community has had. I feel like a young soldier stumbling into a bar where a bunch of 60-70 year old war vets are talking about the hell they went through.

I really hope none of that happens again. I hope the world has made enough progress that I get spared what happened to you guys. Sorry if that's selfish but it shouldn't have happened and it shouldn't happen anymore. Its scary to read.

I don't think younger/newer users fully grasp the shit show that ace discourse was around 2014-17

It was so hostile that, to this day, discussions that begin to derail just enough can make me physically nauseous, some specific mockery trigger crying sessions years later. We lost most accounts with any sort of ace positivity. There was no information, no support, and all this damage was done predominantly by other queer people.

All this to say that you, however you identify yourself, should be engaging with aphobic comments the same way you do any hate. We don't sugarcoat or try to be comprehensive with people who are blatantly racist, homophobic or terfs, so why give it a pass just because it's coming from a queer person? I see how this tolerance goes and it's done enough damage as it is.

Hey, what are the effects of a T-bone crash on a car?

Well that depends which car. T-bone crashes involve two cars, so I'll give both

For the car making the impact, the front bumper and radiator will take a hefty blow, and other systems in the front of the car will crush inward. Depending on the speed, it can also do significant damage to the frame, the engine, and the front suspension. Most accidents of this brand occur in intersections, so it's often that cars are going high speed enough to sustain such damage.

For the other car, usually the impact occurs at the doors on either side. Obviously both end up inoperable after the incident, and impact from the position is very likely to deal damage to the main frame as well. Cars hit this way tend to flip onto the opposite side of the collision.

In both parties, it ends with a hefty amount of damage, and at the right speeds will render both cars totalled, leading to them either being scrapped or restored with branded titles.
