hi guys !

maybe some of you have seen it already but seunghan is not going to participate in the upcoming cb either. most briize have agreed to boycott the cb, and i’m one of them.

i love riize a lot, and boycotting the upcoming cb doesn’t mean that i will unstan them or anything – no, it means that i choose to stand with seunghan & justice. if sm finally provides a statement about seunghans well being & his position in the group, that’s when i will enjoy the cb again but as long as that doesn‘t happen, i’m going to boycott and i urge everyone to do the same.

i’ve been kind of busy these days which is why i haven’t uploaded anything, but i have some fics ready so i’ll upload them eventually. right now, i think i need to take a little break from riize (and it’s purely SM‘s fault.. i absolutely hate that i have to do this because i really do want to support the members..).

i don’t think i will stop writing about riize, but i can’t promise that i’ll be doing it anytime soon.. i guess for me writing about them is part of the boycott?

i will get back to it at some point, so pls be patient with me. also, i really hope you guys join the boycott.

“𝓪𝓻𝓮 you sure this looks good?” you swirl around in the dark blue dress that you’ve just put on.

after waiting for a few minutes and not getting an answer, you see that your best friend wonbin isn’t paying much attention to you — he’s laying on your bed and looking at his phone.

“wonbin, help me out here and stop looking at your phone!” your voice sounds so desperate that it makes you mad. you absolutely hate sounding like that.

wonbin sits up and throws his phone next to him.

“yeah, the dress is pretty good.”

“only good? oh god, no, it needs to look perfect.”

full with panic, you start walking to your wardrobe to look for another dress.

“why do you care so much anyway?” wonbin asks, trying to hide the jealousy he has been feeling the whole time since you’ve told him that you’re going on a date with someone.

“because it’s my first date ever and i want it to be good and it’s only going to be good when i also look good!!”

wonbin watches you look through your clothes, throwing them to the ground and desperately trying to find a new dress. he bites his lips, asking himself if you’ve ever been this stressed about looking good when the two of you were out together.

“how come you never dress up when we go out?”

you laugh at his question, not understanding why he’d ask this. “well, we don’t go on dates. we go out as friends.”

that word slaps wonbin right back into reality. he gulps, tearing his eyes away from you.

“yeah but you could still try to match my coolness with your outfits.”

“oh shut up,” you laugh, grabbing after the white dress that’s been sitting at the bottom of your wardrobe.

“what do you think about this one?” turning around, you hold your dress up so wonbin can see it, but you catch him looking to the other side of the room, not acknowledging what you’ve just said.

“uhm, hello, earth to wonbin, you here?”

he snaps his head back to you but it still looks like he’s not really here, with you. his mind seems to be somewhere else.

you wave the white dress in an attempt to attract his attention. “so? how about this one?”

slowly, he nods. “yeah, this is the one.”

proudly, you smile and stand up. wonbin is still staring at you, hating the fact that he can’t even be happy for you. he absolutely detests that he’s here, helping you out for your first date and the date isn’t even with him.

maybe he's not a good best friend for thinking this way, but who can blame him? he‘s been in love with you for so many years. seeing someone else taking you out on a date, making you smile this much, and filling you with such excitement and eagerness to dress up — it hurts him deeply.

it’s my own fault, wonbin thinks. he should have gathered up the strength to confess to you way before, but now it’s too late.

he’s about to lose you to someone else.

wonbin grabs his chest, feeling like it’s hurting so much that he can barely breathe.

“wonbin, can you do me a favor and unzip me please? i can’t reach it,” you ask him.

“hurry, i need to be ready in an hour and i still need to do my hair and make up!” you whine, wanting wonbin to stop being so slow.

wonbin stands up, his heart beating very fast as he approaches you. he hopes that you don’t realize how heavily he’s breathing.

once he stands behind you, he gulps, realizing how close to you he is. his hands carefully make their way up to your hair, moving it to the side.

you can feel wonbin's breath in your neck. being this close to him gives you goosebumps, and you pray he doesn't notice.

he can't possibly know the effect he has on you. whenever he's near, your heart races, and every moment feels so alive, so fulfilling, so utterly consumed by love.

wonbin has been your best friend for so many years and you don’t want to lose that.

confessing to him would put the two of you in a tough spot because what if he doesn’t like you in that way? how could you two ever recover from that? it would change everything.

The chirps of the crickets and the hoots of the owls were quiet compared to the sound of your shared laughter, walking down the cold sidewalk with your shoulders brushing the other, wanting to encirle their arm or hold their hand — wanting a bit of physical contact for warmth but too shy to ask.

Anton was still counting down the seconds to when he would awake to the sound of his blazing alarm, unable to believe that you — the girl he had been pinning over for months — was walking next to him, laughing along to his stupid jokes that his friends would have whacked him for.

He had to be daydreaming again, chanting to himself "I'm so lucky" as he stuffs his fidgeting hands into his pockets, his head down to conceal his flustered smile and deep laughter considering he was soft spoken, wasting a second or two to steal a glance at your smile; how its engraved with such beauty, almost like it was stuck in its place.

He thinks back at how he nervously gulps, opening your chair with shaky hands so he could sit you down, before pushing you in and doing the same process with himself, taking in the restaurant that was marked as your first date, and hopefully more to come. He prays that everything goes well, almost losing his breath at the outfit you decided to wear today, almost like you were mocking him with your beauty.

But then again, you were always beautiful, and what you were wearing wasnt anything special; just a plain shirt that hugged your curves perfectly, along with your favorite pants and shoes to pair. He remembers trying not to stare at your lips as you talk, but failing miserly, licking his own in anxiousness. He felt like an idiot under your gaze, feeling all warm and fuzzy in his stomach as butterflies swarmed carelessly, yet another stutter leaving his lips. Stop doing that!!

"My house is just down the block," you inform anton, pointing to the array of houses as anton nods, before a frown forms on his lips. He was having so much fun, he didnt want to leave. But it was probably a good idea, so he wouldnt do anything stupid to embarrass himself, and so he can spend the next hour or so screaming into his pillow, kicking his feet like a schoolgirl in the process.

You always liked how happy anton seemed to get whenever you were near, constantly biting his lip to hold back his smile, his head always hiding behind one of his friends or in his arms. It was cute, you adored him; he looked so cool with his amazing talents and achievements, plus, you loved how soft the boy was, never wanting to hurt a fly.

You thought your liking towards him was a little obvious, but maybe the boy was blindly in love, missing all of your hints that drove his friends crazy with annoyance. You wanted to capture the look on antons face when you agreed to go out with him, his jaw dropped and eyes shot open looked a little silly, and you pictured yourself laughing about it with the boy, teasing him for his adorable flusterness.

"I had so much fun today," anton quietly admits as you walk into your driveway, going up the steps in a slow pace, almost like you wanted to savor each and every moment, every feeling of this magical night. "So did i," you share a smile, looking around to think of something that would conclude your time.

"The moon looks so pretty today," you admire what was over antons shoulder, his head turning to acknowledge it before turning back to you, his heart swooning at how perfect you looked. "Yeah.." he says in a lovesick tone, his eyes going over each and every part of your face, studying it deeply like there was going to be a quiz that would be presented the next day. You looked beautiful.

Time seemed to stop when you finally turn your head to say something else to the boy, never expecting him to be already looking at you with so much love in his eyes, like he would protect you from anything and everything, his angel.

His mouth opens to say something but nothing never comes to his dismay, just using the time to admire your presence, his eyes slowly traveling to your pink, parted lips. His eyes move back to your as you unconsciously take a step forward, so close that anton hunches over without a thought, cradling your soft face into his warm hands.

"Is it okay.. if i kiss you?" His sudden words hit you like a train, a soft gasp leaving your lips as you take in how he stares at you like he hasnt touched anyone in years; he needed you. So with a nod, you slowly close your eyes, tilting your head so anton could have better access to your pretty lips, closing the distance between you too.

The feeling of your arms around his neck excites him, setting the pace to a slow movement, but able to convey the want and desire through his lips. His arms slides down to your waist to hold you closer as he presses his lips against yours repeatly before breaking, his forehead rested against yours as his eyes were still closed, basking in the after glow. Oh, how he never wanted to wake up again.

a little rant

these last few weeks especially i’ve been feeling very nostalgic about pre-debut riize (memories era to be specific). everything was so much better back then. of course there were obstacles as well, but overall, that time back then was peaceful & just.. pure happiness?

seunghans hiatus is about to hit its 3rd month mark and i’m really losing my patience now.. can sm give us an update?? is that too much to ask??

we have gotten so many positive signs over the last few weeks and i know seunghan will be back at some point, but i just want it to be soon (keep in mind; he should have never gotten put on a hiatus in the first place).

i really miss him and it’s hard for me to see riize the same way these days, without him.. don’t get me wrong, i still love them a lot but the dynamic truly isn’t the same as before. whether it be during interviews/promotional content, vlogs/we riize eps or their performances in general — you can tell there’s something (someone) missing.

i know the members are trying their hardest too, and i hope wherever seunghan may be, he’s doing well & gathering up strength to come back to us.

and even though it’s taking longer than it should, and i’m slowly losing my patience, i will stay optimistic. no matter how long it will take, i’ll keep on waiting for riize to be 7 again. it’s the day i’m looking forward to the most.
