hi guys !

maybe some of you have seen it already but seunghan is not going to participate in the upcoming cb either. most briize have agreed to boycott the cb, and i’m one of them.

i love riize a lot, and boycotting the upcoming cb doesn’t mean that i will unstan them or anything – no, it means that i choose to stand with seunghan & justice. if sm finally provides a statement about seunghans well being & his position in the group, that’s when i will enjoy the cb again but as long as that doesn‘t happen, i’m going to boycott and i urge everyone to do the same.

i’ve been kind of busy these days which is why i haven’t uploaded anything, but i have some fics ready so i’ll upload them eventually. right now, i think i need to take a little break from riize (and it’s purely SM‘s fault.. i absolutely hate that i have to do this because i really do want to support the members..).

i don’t think i will stop writing about riize, but i can’t promise that i’ll be doing it anytime soon.. i guess for me writing about them is part of the boycott?

i will get back to it at some point, so pls be patient with me. also, i really hope you guys join the boycott.

you see, i don’t understand why people like you exist. i assume you’re an ot6. i can call myself a fan of riize because i love and care for ALL of riize. which you cannot say the same because you’re in my tell box complaining about seunghans mistakes.

seunghan did NOT expose himself. HE was exposed.

why is it that it’s fine for the others to smoke and date? if they were to get exposed would you unstan them? and wouldn’t that make you.. not a fan? how would you feel if you spent years training just to be put on hiatus for a mistake. you act as if seunghan is perfect.

the rest of the boys are suffering because of their COMPANY. boycotting riize means boycotting SM. if it was not allowed at the company, why were there MULTIPLE members of a different group pictured smoking outside? why is seunghans situation any different?

i will continue to encourage a boycott, i don’t care if people don’t read my works. all i care is if seunghan is returned to riize. i’m doing all of this for seunghan and seunghan only, so if you have a problem with it PLEASE do me a favor and block me.

I’m honestly so confused with some briizes. Please inform me of the real goal of the strike. I get being upset that seunghan’s not here but you all want one member to come back so badly that you’re purposefully trying to ruin the others careers? If you don’t listen to riize then they could possibly disband and then there’s no group for seunghan to return to. Maybe SM is going to make seunghan a soloist or have him come back a little later. We don’t know so why keep attacking everyone? And the boys have been trying to make us happy with content and there’s always some people ignoring them and only mentioning seunghan. Imagine how the boys may feel about that. If I were them I would assume you guys only care about him and not the rest of the group. Seunghan even expressed that he knew this would affect the boys and feels bad about it so why continue giving them a hard time? This is more fuel being added to the drama. Again I understand seunghan’s situation seems unfair but we don’t know everything that happened behind the scenes and demanding a statement that they already gave is too much. They said he was going on hiatus but because his return isn’t happening on your time makes it reasonable to ruin other people’s dreams? The real person to be mad at is whoever exposed him. SM is just conducting business- that same business strategies that their culture has deemed appropriate. Again get mad at South Korean entertainment/fandom culture and whoever exposed seunghan not the boys or sm workers. This strike is trying to hurt the boys, not the culture. Lots of companies have had different approaches to these types of things and most of the time, fans are not happy with anything. Some “scandals” have been accepted and most have not. We just have to realize that the fans are like trends- fickle. One day it’s ok for people to date. The next it’s not. Personally I think him leaving for the reasons we were told is dumb but I don’t know the full extent of what happened behind the scenes and I don’t think that means riize should be punished for those dumb reason either. Also if they kept him on a version of siren that they were going to promote and he’s not going to promote it, then why have him on the song? That’s money having to be given to him and why would they pay him for work he’s not doing? I hope you all understand what I’m saying and don’t think I don’t care about seunghan’s situation.

imo if we don’t boycott riize this cb, sm is going to think that 1) we don’t care about seunghan and 2) they don’t need to do anything to protect their artists. seunghan was the first to be attacked, he will not be the last. sm wants riize to be an int’l group but they don’t want to listen to international fans. i want riize to succeed but sm is really fucking them up rn

It would be better if all subfandoms gave us zero content of the members or did not engage with solo riize tags with said content! It would be ideal if they flood their personal tags with the boycott because this is not only about Seunghan. I’m NOT blaming them, I am just thinking of ways to make this boycott more impactful. whoever is managing RIIZE is kind of stupid? like I can't even type how annoyed I am because although I am annoyed I feel like I need to talk about how stupid their management is. I don't know what statistics they're looking at or what is driving their decisions at the moment but it's all fucked. how the fuck you gonna re-record siren and take out his parts...if we thought the people sending Seunghan threats and hate were being extra, I bring you SM. no one is more theatrical than SM. they are treating this whole thing like it's some insanely controversial issue. like Seunghan got into a dui incident. as if he beat up a staff member or something idk like this is really not that serious. all he did was date someone? on top of that it's not like there was news about him being a shitty boyfriend or anything, either. like I'm so confused by their response? they're annoying as shit atp like what the fuck are you doing

Watching the Riize boycott falling apart on twt in real time is crazy. Well played SM they knew if they made the comeback looonggg and go on for months the I-fans wud turn on each other, be divided and it wud all fall apart.

The ifans were actually united in this boycott for some weeks but with those statements from the fanbases now I give it a week before they make some statement justifying going back to normal and promoting the comeback content. They have found a solution or a work around Seunghan hour LOL. Just watch!

But tbh I don’t blame them when this all started it was a united front now it’s more like maybe 40% or more are vocal about stopping the boycott. Attacking fanbases who support it.

i probably won’t be writing for riize as much, i just cant bring myself to do it. like this whole situation has bummed me out so much and i hate it. earlier i saw a video of seunghan during sm rookies and it hurts so much. he does not deserve any of this at all.

i feel awful because none of this is towards riize themselves. sm is so disorganized and unprofessional which is causing fans to leave. this situation is so fucked and i really hope they pull their shit together.

until then, i’ll probably write just a little bit for riize, but don’t expect much. i apologize to everyone who’s sent in asks about riize members, i will eventually get to them.

i really hope that seunghan gets to come back. please continue to boycott.
