Each generation had something that they thought was impossible at the beginning of their reign, yet later it sneaked into reality with such smoothness, the discovery was welcomed almost too nonchalantly to be fair. Some thought video phones were out of a fairytale, but decades later they found themselves using those daily, without a second thought or the initial feeling of novelty. That’s how progress worked, you thought. The most farsighted people would just stop wondering and fantasizing, deciding to bring unimaginable things to their tangibility instead. Sometimes, it was scary how quickly those miracles became nothing more than mundane accessories in people’s routine lives.

Yeah, I guess for me after You Never Walk Alone the spark was gone😢 I still listen to older songs and try the new ones out, but I rarely love them, it just doesn't feel like Bts anymore *here I said it*☠️ and your comparison to a partner is really great, bc they still mean a lot to me, or rather they mean a lot to my past self😞 but that's ok bc we change and they change and somewhere along the way we took different paths ╥﹏╥

и не говори :) it’s been a long time for you then, damn. i kinda started loosing “the spark” around when D-2 came out. i just wasn’t excited, it literally felt like the switch has been flipped somewhere and it i was like “okay, that’s alarming, but it’ll probably pass”. ofc, i still like watching them perform, they are incredible, но сердечко не ёкает, как раньше 🙃 i don’t watch all the interviews and all of that. and it’s a shame, bc they’ve had some huge achievements recently and i was excited, but i would’ve been sobbing out of happiness last year. so... yeah. thank you for relating and giving me a chance to rant 🙌 i’ll always always love them though 💜

a/n: Sorry, folks, but this one is dedicated mostly to the birthday girl @ inktae. Mari, I was thinking about what to do for your birthday, when this (Tae recommended it once) song came on, and the deal was sealed with another fairy tale. There’s so much I could wish you, but the most important one that comes to mind is - I wish you to never loose you passion for writing and dreaming, and believing in dreams coming true. I know, Bo told us to give up, but take this from me, as someone who’s trying to chase her dreams along with you, and hold on a little longer. I hid some more presents inside the story: music, poetry and laughter (three of each). Catch'em all! Happy Birthday <333 a/n pt. 2: The idea of the story comes from Spielberg’s “Hook” with Robin Williams, where Peter has grown up and doesn’t remember who he truly is, at first. All the quotes, except for the very first one, are from Peter Pan (the book, I believe; not sure about the movies). It starts in the 3rd person, but once Y/N and Taehyung start interacting, I slide into the familiar format, so don’t freak out. I guess, that’s all. Happy reading!
