Short meeting a quick visit from the near by lord who supplied their seaside village with quality lumber. Is what Vittorio told Tarhos but, his supposed surprised check in turned into something much longer and much more aggravating for both the knight who was just about to be released from duty and the lord who wished to retire to his library for the evening.

Vittorio swirled his wine and tried to keep his friendly smile up but it was growing heavy as the short lord adorned in jewels kept prattling on about increasing the prices of various goods.

"Please, just think about it Lord Toscano if we had more money we could do more good with our respective villages! Let's just all agree to increase our prices help each other out an-' Vittorio sat his glass down just hard enough to get the attention back to him from the short man.

"Raphael I admire this "Get rich quick" scheme you've come up with but our workers will notice. They are doing to notice the increase in work load but them not being compensated for it. You can't blame the upcoming winter for it and your forest is healthy! Even I can see that from the sea the workers in your forest will also find it suspicious if you claim a whole lot of lumber or stretch of forest as "rotten" when it's not. As far as I can tell and what i've heard from others there is no one at the moment struggling everyone is keeping up with what they need and some are excelling! I think prices are fine where they are no reason to change. We can discuss this at a larger meeting with the others." The man seemed he was about to burst another blood vessel as Vittorio was denying him yet again. He gritted his teeth before hmph like a toddler and turning away. "Well accidents happen all the time things get over looked maybe a stray fire decimated 30% of my woods! Or- auck who cares! They're peasants on OUR LAND! They should be more than thankful enough to have a roof over their heads. They can put in the extra work for more money like I said it'll he-" A twitch ever so subtle in Tarhos face Vittorio barely caught it with the low light in the room and he adjusted his weight ever slightly as well. Vittorio needed to get this annoyance out of the castle or Tarhos would take any vague threat or misstep an act against him and lash out in the name of "defending" his lord.

"We. Will discuss this at the larger meeting and if an accident just so happens to your lumber between now and then thus increasing the prices I'll make sure to let everyone know the fantastic quality of the mountain lumber from Kendell. Now go before you incriminate yourself further and next time please send your adviser to discuss prices they do a much better job."

The lord looked as if he was going to protest but Vittorio tilted his head towards Tarhos who stood tall. The lord went thin lipped and stood from his chair and him and his own guard left the room. Vittorio gave Tarhos an apologetic look. "Sorry friend I was not expecting a short catch up to last for almost an hour. You may be released and please feel free to be up late tomorrow for the trouble." It was Vittorio's own way of letting Tarhos know he had the whole night to himself free to do as he pleases in the taverns in the town. He could drink till he couldn't stand or simply just lay in the field until morning. Whatever it may be as long as blood wasn't spilled. "It's been a very long week you and your fellow guards have fun tonight be merry tomorrow we relax before larger duties further in the week."

One would be a fool to think Vittorio couldn't handle pain even prefog Vittorio is the definition of "mind over matter." (I MEAN HE LASTED AT LEAST MONTHS BEING TORTURED BY TARHOS! Do you truly think Tarhos didn't let Alejandro have a go at him and he still didn't confess about the lapis??) Vitt has the scars to prove that a blade to the shoulder or arm won't bother him. It's required almost for his vision to spread to others. Look at the kindness of this man I stabbed him and he STILL will not draw his sword! Though the hundred of years in the fog....using magic and such has altered his body. His mind everything has changed a normal human brain could NOT process and remember most of what has happened over hundred of years of entrapment. An unintended side effect of being an arcane user. His body is more sturdy than the average human he can handle a full body monster tackle and get back up quicker and with less bruises. I say a normal fit person is a 0 and vitt is about .7/.8 stronger/resilience due to his time here in the fog.
