Garden update: tomatoes went into their five-gallon buckets a couple of weeks ago and are growing at very different rates, although they all look happy. Peas are growing happily too although they haven't all figured out to grow up the trellis. About this time last year, and the previous year, we started getting aphids... I am keeping a close eye this year and no sign yet. Two things are different this year: we didn't buy any new soil and we didn't buy any plants from the garden centre. We also interplanted more with marigold and wildflowers so we'll see if that pays off this year! #organicgarden #gardening #torontogarden #balconygarden #organic #vegetablegarden (at Toronto, Ontario)
