as you guys can imagine, these disastrous events were very hard on me both financially and mentally. i can easily say that it was one of the hardest times in my life. everything felt strange, and the things that usually brought me so much joy did little to comfort me—even writing which had always been my main source of comfort. not only that, but i couldn’t focus on anything other than all the problems i was facing. logging on to tumblr also felt off for me with everything going on, so i eventually stopped to focus on my very real life problems. over time, being away from this blog got easier without me realizing it.

whenever i did occasionally log back in, events happening in the kpop writing community (minors invading adult spaces/lying about their age, plagiarism—which i very belatedly found out i fell victim to—and general drama), made me not want to be on tumblr at all. now that things in my life have calmed down a bit and are slowly getting back to normal, my feelings on this haven’t really changed.

i’ve contemplated the future of this blog for a long time and have ultimately decided to treat it as an archive now. i’m sorry to disappoint those of you who were waiting for the wips i had planned. this wasn’t an easy decision to make, but one that i hope you guys can understand.

i really want to thank everyone who made my writing journey on caratblr so fun and enjoyable. i’ll forever be grateful for all the love and support you’ve all shown me until now.
