In doing so, ensure the drill stand is positioned in line with the table saw's fence and vice-grips placed correctly for each other. Adjusting the drill stand may require readjustment of the vice-grips. After both pieces are attached, tighten the vices until they are snug.
Step 5. Mount the Motor/Motor Carrier
To mount the motor carrier, first, secure it to the drill stand assembly with four bolts. Next, adjust the mounting bracket, so it rests flat against the backside of the drill press plate. Finally, secure the motor carrier with two additional bolts.
Step 6. Install the Router Table
The router table holds the router in place while performing its function. Before attaching the router tabletop to the machine's top, ensure there is at least ¾" space between the tabletop and the bottom of the baseplate. Then, center and fasten the tabletop onto the baseplate. Finally, be sure to tighten the screws evenly and securely.
Step 7. Plug in the Power Cord
Plug your power cord into the socket labeled 110VAC – 20Amp. Make sure not to plug it directly into the wall outlet!
