        things ella knows: harry loves her, true and genuine and as deep as the way she feels for him, a fairytale prince if ever there was one. she is safe, and wanted, and loved, in a life that isn’t going to crash down around her, isn’t going to go up in flames. this is her life.

        and yet there is a traitorous part of her that still wants to say, no, don’t bother, i’m not worth it. there’s a part of her expecting things to fall apart, because somebody like her doesn’t get someone this wonderful, not outside of her dreams. 

        but she has. one day, she might feel like this is concrete, too. until then, it will have to be enough to take harry’s hand and feel its warmth, to feel the joy that washes over her, every morning that she wakes beside him. isn’t she lucky? to have gotten a happy ending at such a terrible time; she’s the luckiest girl in the world.
