KAITO x Reader

With a heavy sigh, you plopped down on the couch and began to scroll on your phone. It was still strange to you, but recently, Vocaloids had been visiting you through screens.

After the whole deal with that other Miku, the Vocaloids had figured out how to visit you this way. You could also see them within the SEKAI, but it was easier this way, too. It was also much more fun - you often stayed up late chatting with a tiny Miku, Kaito, or Luka on your phone.

Suddenly, a small Kaito raised his head and came out from your phone screen, tapping you. “Why do you look upset? What’s wrong?”

The sight of him instantly brightened your mood. He was so cute and so small - seeing him nearly triggered your cuteness aggression.

“Hi, Kaito,” you replied, petting his tiny head with your finger, “I’m happy to see you.”

“Ehe, I’m happy to see you, too…but what’s wrong?” He gives you an empathetic smile, tilting his head slightly. So cute.

That elicited another heavy sigh from you as you stared at the small blue-haired Vocaloid. “I’m just exhausted…and I didn’t sleep well last night at all.” Memories from last night came back to you, tossing and turning in your bed as a storm raged on outside.

Kaito’s eyes widened in concern and sympathy. “I’m so sorry to hear that…do you want to nap?” His voice was soft and warm - you could listen to it forever. Lucky for you, you basically could.

“Yeah…that sounds nice. Will you stay, though?” You hold out your hand for him - which is nearly double his stature.

Kaito nods at your question, climbing up onto your hand. You carry him and your phone upstairs, immediately shutting the door and collapsing face-first onto your bed.

“It’s a shame, Kaito…” your voice is slightly muffled due to the pillows squished against your face.

“What is?” Kaito asks curiously.

“You’re too small to cuddle properly…” you reply with a smug smirk.

The small Vocaloid turns his head away to hide his pink-tinged cheeks. “I…apologize for my size. I appreciate the sentiment, though…it’s very sweet of you.”

“Of course, Kaito…now come here.” You gently set him on your pillow and curl up under the blankets, laying your head just beside him. “Curl up with me.”

“Okay. I hope you have a good rest, alright…?” Kaito whispers softly as he presses a tiny kiss to your cheek. “I love you…”

“…awww…I love you, too, Kaito~”

“Sweet dreams. I’ll be here when you awaken.”
