There's nothing wrong with hoping…. the problem is expecting? You can hope that you will finally see your favorite ship's romance on screen but don't expect it, not when they clearly gave indication that Wednesday and Enid are supposed to be heterosexuals, and certainly do not harass people involved in the project or their cohorts about it…. Though they did sort of leave it suggestively open for Wednesday when Xavier asked "Who's the lucky guy, or girl?"

And honestly, can we really blame people who what, get not even a 10th of representation on main stream media for hoping to finally be seen on screen? Fanfiction and artwork are wonderful outlets and great medium for expression of desires but I think we can all agree there's nothing that would compare to seeing canon representation, to seeing your favorite couple have the romance you dream about, visually on screen... not only as words on a paper or a screen. Not just some render from a fantastic artist that depicts WenClair coming through or a short wonderful animation. After all, Nothing beats the real thing.

Is it greedy to want more than what we've been forced to give ourselves? Is it egregious to desire that the masses recognize the validity of same sex relationships? It it wrong to want to feel like queers aren't just a minority that should be tolerated? Is it monstrous for us to want to be seen as equals? For the world to recognize that same sex romances are as real and full of love and happiness like any heterosexual romantic relations. Is it truly incomprehensible that queers would want representation and to finally see a dream turned into reality in the form of seeing two characters they love so much finally be together. It's human nature to crave. We crave items, success, betterment. If we were merely content to remain status quo we wouldn't have cars, airplanes, or even internet and social media. It's human to hope and desire. So I say hope. Hope you see WenClair or whatever ship you have sail... but also root yourself in the reality that it most likely won't happen because despite the message of the show, difference isn't celebrated out in the real world. Being 'other' isn't profitable. Being 'other' is condemnable.

In the Trio Wednesday, Enid and Bianca. Bianca should be the leader, I know Wednesday is the main character, but it makes more sense for Bianca to lead them.

Instead of seeing Male Characters like Xavier, Ajax, Tyler, Bruno etc as obstacles for your ship. Try to see them as stepping stones, or alternatively just rewrite them in your fan fiction.

Alternatively: Since a lot of you are highly creative and talented and drawing and writing. Why don’t you just come up with your own stories and characters instead of fruitlessly hoping for your ship to become canon.

I understand you want LGBT representation, but it would be better if you try to find it where it actually might happen. You have to remember that the two CANON Lesbian Nevermore Students aren’t in Season 2.

I would like if "Cannibal" Pugsley would become canon, but I won’t get upset if it’s never going to happen.

Season 1 didn’t not have a Love Triangle. It’s only a Love triangle, if the Character has genuine feelings for both parties. X only wanted to be FRIENDS and T turned out to be a Prince Hans.

Wednesday would give no shits about social convention and would most likely only sleep around for nefarious reasons like making someone jealous or proving a point or satiating a curiosity maybe?

I do see her forming some sort of practical arrangement in an ABO world, provided her suppressants aren’t working, but it would have to be someone she trusts and there’s likely only one person she’d go to for that. *coughs ENID*.

Wednesday seems like the type of girl who would insist she's straight, while at the same time only ever hooking up with women and usually being the one to initiate said hookup.

Wednesday gives 0 shits about social constructs, especially when they serve to diminish or limit. The whole concept of “hiding” one’s sexuality is the exact opposite of anything Wednesday would do. She wouldn’t give a rats arse if she was sleeping with women and people knew about it. She’s a fucking Addams. They go against all societal norms and always stand up for underdogs/minorities. Especially Wednesday. She would embrace her queerness as something not even worth talking about or questioning or being embarrassed by and I certainly don’t see her hiding or lying about it. If Wednesday wants to sleep with a woman (Enid) she’s gonna sleep with a woman. If she wants to sleep with a man, she’s going to sleep with a man. But she’s not going to go around denying she’s doing one thing when actually doing the opposite. She is a very pragmatic person. And I personally think if Wednesday is not solely attracted to women, she is likely pansexual. (In Netflix’s iteration, anyway).

As for initiating hookups, Wednesday does not strike me as an initiator for hookups. I think she’s the kind of person who really only likes certain people and therefore only really likes to be physically intimate (and therefore vulnerable) with people she trusts. Hookups are highly unlikely to be her bag unless it’s for a specific purpose to somehow serve her towards other goals. She will use sex as an end goal for something else (ie. getting information from someone).

I can see your approach more realistically with Enid, to be honest. But not Wednesday.

Okay , I can't believe I'm the only one who thought that Wednesday was a little bit too interested in Enid's dating life in this scene. First there was Wednesday once again curiously and adorably obliging to Enid's demand the murder pinterest must leave their dorm:

Then Eugene anounces he knows it's unlikely that Enid will ever like him back, but that he will keep trying. Look at Wednesday's FACE. Remember how completly desinterested she was before whenever dating came up.

And then of course a certain question:

Call me crazy but I say Wednesday is pondering that quite personally. With their history I highly doubt that Netflix will risk a lesbian relationship in their next smash hit, but they've certainly sowed a fundation in this and much more obvious scenes.

2: Less WENCLAIR scenes, more focus on EnJax or whoever higher ups put Enid with to detract and distract.
