Seawings — I wanted to add some importance to the squiggles on the top of their heads, especially since Mike Holmes seems to emphasize that part in his designs.

Text blurb: The Seawing crown referee to the wave-like protrusions between a Seawing’s horns. The crown is full of small pits which connect to a lateral line organ, a sensory organ found in many fish (even goldfish). This organ is used to detect movement in water (mechanoreception). Like a electric eel, the Seawing is also capable of electroreception. Through an electric organ, they produce a weak electric field and then sense distortions in the field.

Also just some design exploration with Rainwings. Some day I’ll design my own version of all the tribes.

if we only count the children Queen Coral had who survived hatching (Orca, Tsunami, Anemone, Auklet + boys), we can deduce that roughly 3/32 or 9.375% of seawing royal dragonets will be animus if one parent carries the gene. If we could the 12 deceased dragonets as non-animus, the percentage becomes 6.82%, however, it’s fairly possible that at least one of these dragonets would’ve been animus
