Callan fact of the day #27

For a brief amount of time in a very early draft of the story, Callan was supposed to be a woman.

He was still married to Henry, but in this version his story was that which is now his mother’s. He was supposed to have died during the birth of his and Henry’s child and leave Henry as the new king of the Willow Court. Luckily though I quickly abandoned that idea.

All my ocs could use a hug, but Aiden and Talon especially. Both because of their family, but both for a different family related reason. They should just hug each other

I know you're probably about to log off for the weekend (and I hope it'll be a good one❤️), but it thought I'd leave you with this:

So, I hear you want cute Ákos facts!

• Once he started crawling when he was a baby Adél and Bendegúz followed him around everywhere

• Adél used to tickle his tummy a lot

• He (like Aiden) used to stare deep into people's souls

• He learned to read really early (at 4 yo)

• It's probably not a surprise that he likes to explore wierd nooks and crannies of buildings (what might be suprising is that he does this because Adél is interested in architecture (which to him just means wierd nooks and crannies of buildings) (he's a little confused but he's got the spirit)

• I made a post about this already but his handwriting is unreadable (he's just like me fr)

• There's a playground close to the castle, and every one of my ocs used to go there when they were little (so naturally, Ákos too)

• Idk if I mentioned this, but aside from reading, he also writes, and though i haven't come up with exactly what he writes yet, I know it is about mice exploring a huge castle

Adél always tries to hold his hand when they're going somewhere, and he has his practice wings on (she doesn't want him to accidentally flip upside down while trying to fly)

Bendegúz is honestly so nice to him😭 he always genuinely pays attention when he goes on rambling about something, and he always laughs at his jokes but never at Ákos (you know, like in a mean way)

And Ákos thinks his siblings are so cool, honestly 😭 (and they are)

Also, I've said it before, and I'll say it again: he thinks Adél's hugs are magical because they always make him feel better❤️

Ákos is interested in almost everything, but he absolutely HATES being bored, so if you have to distract him from something, just tell him it's boring

And this is not about Ákos, just something I wanna share:

The favorite sweets of my ocs (except Endre, because idk his yet)

Adél: cinnamon rolls (yes, it is because her story is about protecting a cinnamon roll (Also because they're one of my faves too)

Ákos: sugar cookies (Bendegúz says they're plain, but Ákos says they're perfect and simple)

Bendegúz: those cookies with jam sandwiched between them (he and Adél constantly steal them from the kitchen)

Callan fact of the day #26

One of his favorite ways of relaxing beside walks through the garden and lounge in bed is to take a bath. Bubble bath. Lavender. Rose petals. No matter what. He loves it. Preferably with Henry.

Can you believe Callan month is almost over?

Sorry if I already sent an ask like this and forgot. I had a long week, buuut:

Imagine: all the taidens from all the aus are put into one room!

I'd like to think this would be interesting, but I'm pretty sure everyone would get distracted by god Talon (imagine poor angel and demon au Talon seeing himself as a god🤣)

But also: 90% of the Talons being like: So... many... Aidens... so... many... ways... to... get themselves... into... trouble

Possible future au Talon having a mental breakdown the whole time

Modern, artist (or idk what the official name of that au was) and Christmas movie au taiden finding each other because they are the only normal people there

Spy Aiden showing all the other Aidens his gun: It's like a bow and arrows, but more lethal!

Other Aidens: Wow!

But what I actually think would be the most hilarious is somehow some of them accidentally mix each other up, for example all the god chosen Aidens, and then they're like: WAIT! YOU'RE NOT MY TALON!

This is accompanied by some Talons giving each other the scary guard lookTM

Oh that’s a lot of Talon’s and Aiden’s! Would be really weird I think. For them especially.

Bold of you to assume the Aiden’s wouldn’t find their very specific Talon even out of millions of them xD

Callan fact of the day #25

Callan has always been pretty curious about humans and their culture. Since there are rarely humans in the fae realm and he never met any, he always wanted to know what they are like.

His nurse maid Amalie, who grew up in the human world, told him stories about living with the humans and about the old times where humans and fae still were in great contact.

She had to answer his countless questions, too and when she visited the human realm, he kept asking her to let him join until she gave in.

If it wouldn’t have been for Callan’s curiosity (and Amalie having to do lots of persuading to let the king let his son go visit the other realm with her), him and Henry (who also had to face a lot of questions when first knowing him) never would’ve met.

In my unprofessional opinion, we need more of the main 4 (Aiden, Talon, Maya, Hela) having funny shenanigans 😌

You’re right! That’s why the modern au chat posts exist. Come to think of it I should make one of those again…

Callan fact of the day #24

Compared to others he was really young when he got crowned and on the day that it happened, he was terrified.

He was worried he won’t do his father (and mother) justice, that he would disappoint his people and that the weight of the crown would break him.

He needed a lot of reassurance that day. Especially Henry was a huge help. His support carried Callan through the whole process. Behnam and Quinn reassured him, too.

He was relieved to realize that the crown wasn’t as heavy as he feared, as long as he had his loved ones at his side.

He is not afraid anymore. He adores being the king. Most of the time, at least.
