Thank you! I'm so sorry for going radio silent in the past few days, my health has really kicked itself this time and it made me have long, looong headaches that inhibited me from working for long times.

Rest assured, I'm still working on both WTTF-IF and TWYAM-IF as much as I can, and I'm working on outlining the plots for both and making sure it makes sense. While I think I have mentioned that TWYAM has its plot figured out, I went back to make sure it does, so that went back to its production for another comb-over.

But, I might be a bit slower to respond here for a bit, as I am behind on my classes because of my health. So, I need to buckle down and keep working on those as they are a priority, but I'll come back with more RO scenarios, updates, drawings, and a few things to add!

Fun Fact: Nicolae does wear contacts, but because they're so small, he'll struggle to wear them. He's a bit self-conscious about his looks, especially his eyes, because the one-time he helped someone out when he was out shopping in Idovale, the person passed out. It's why he opts to wear his glasses instead, so something like that never happens again.

The true reason that person passed out was because the sun hit Nicolae's eyes juuuust right, and according to the person, Nicolae looked as if he was an 'angel that made its descent to the world'.

"Hm? You wish to touch Sophia? Or Diana?" Augustine tilts their head to the side, eyeing you carefully as their snakes 'blep' their tongues at you. A moment passes between the two of you, and their eyes light-up.

"I find you fascinating." They say in slight awe, "You do not run when you see my family."

The snakes slither forward from their spots on Augustine's shoulders, reaching for you. As you gently pet their heads, they wiggle their bodies, happy to feel your affection. They turn to Augustine with smiles, hissing 'playfully' at them.

"...Can you pet my head too?" Augustine inquires, their eyes wide with intrigue. "Sophia and Diana are saying that your 'pats' feel like a warm furnace."

When you said adrian and rozalia is already enlisting the mc as a part of the family does that mean they see them as just a family member or can we make them kinda see the mc as one of their kid in the game? So like, unofficially get adopted by them lmao

Hello there! The Varias Family is pretty quirky, and Adrian and Rozalia are no different. They'll see you as another family member, but as time passes by, they'll eventually see you as their own child!

There will be different reactions, depending on if you're going to date their actual children or not. But no matter what, they will consider you a member of their own family. You were the one who accepted them as them, after all.

And as for this other Anon~!

Adrian: He's celebrating, right then and there, and he's going to throw a large, large party to commemorate that day as the anniversary of his "christening" as Dad. You have quite literally made his day. Prepared to be embarrassed, he's [humbly] bragging about it to the other Varias members. "Look! I have a new child now! Aren't they great?! They managed to do this and - [Proceeds to mention everything you've done, as well as your accomplishments, and humbly brags about it.]"

Rozalia: A bit more subdued than her husband, but her smile is a fraction bigger than before. Be prepared to know how to brew/create your own tea blends, and be prepared to learn how to fight. She will teach you everything you need to know now, as it is her duty as your 'Mother' now. "Now now, dear 'child' of mine. Lift your arm up, there we go. We will make you a Varias yet."

Just to better understand the family, obviously these guys do fucked up shit sometimes but in a way where it doesn't end up traumatizing amazingly (for them at least), but what do their boundaries look like? Any serious nonos? I mean, it is implied Irina either killed or made her uncle missing somehow in one react (or that was a coincidence) so there's that

I just wanna know how what normal interaction looks like with this family as opposed to what an unhealthy relationship in this family would look like

Oooo, thank you for asking this! So, basically, their boundaries are really similar to what any, other decent family/people will do. Be polite to your neighbors, be kind to others, be open-minded, etc.. However, how they interact is different from what is considered 'normal' to society.

One example I can think of is, "They'll serve you tea, but the tea is probably weird. Like, there's five different combinations of it that might be bad for your teeth/health, but it's still delicious! Think of it like a twinkie! A twinkie dunked in chocolate, deep-fried and then served with more chocolate!"

Yeah, I don't know why that exists either.

I'm going to leave a cut under this, as the topics I discuss below are really heavy, and this is inclusive with the no-no's. So, please read at your own discretion!

The biggest no-nos are things that are just disgusting/terrible/mind-numbing in nature, like rape or anything similar to that topic. There's a ton of stuff that isn't really, you know, good to anyone in general, and listing them all will take a loooooong time, but I will say this: The Varias Family are a modern family that challenges what is normally accepted in society, but will be open-minded to what is accepted in society.

Let's bring in another example, murder.

Murder and related topics are not to be treated lightly, but the Varias family will treat it differently from others. If they mess/joke around with it, it means that they believe you're in the same wavelength as them, and both parties will treat it as a joke. They will show that they will want to kill you if they want to, but otherwise, there will be tells or signs to let you know that they don't mean it or not.

To best explain it; it's like how old, television shows will make a really, really dark joke and then move on to the next segment. Like with Spongebob, with how they addressed Mr. Puff when Mr. Krabs asked about what happened to him with Spongebob.

Mr. Krabs: So, what happened to Mr. Puff?

[Cue to a lamp-shaped Mr. Puff.]

Spongebob: She doesn't like to talk about it.

I am very surprised that I remembered this specifically, but if it works, it works!

I hope I was able to answer your question! I went on a bit of a tangent, but I wanted to best explain this ask to the best of my ability. If you're still slightly stuck, I recommend watching the Addams Family on YouTube through the MGM channel. They have a bunch of full episodes for FREE of the original, black-and-white show and that best shows what I mean!

Hello there! Yes, the game will be on Twine! If you meant for an Itch.io page, I haven't made one yet. The main reason is because I want to have the demo ready so I can just--make the page, plug in my demo, and have it all done in one go.

SO can u tell us a bit about MC? Anything canon about them?

Sure, I have no problem saying these now!

MC has family, but they live somewhere else. They sometimes send some extra money your way, as well as a care package!

MC will canonically be in shock at how the Varias Family does things, due to how they're so completely different from other families. This will be dependent on a few things, but the primary emotion of 'What is this?' will be there.

MC is, with all intents and purposes, an actual broke, college student. Meaning, you're budgeting and you're going to be attending classes.

MC will canonically be nice to Adrian and the other, Varias family members. They are renting their room for you. You can get angry at them, but being a complete asshole is a no-go. To add onto this, I feel like being rude to your landlord isn't exactly good.
