Another wonderful Nutmeg Coffee commission I happily promised to upload, done by none other than my lovely sis, @x-elyssa-x~💜☺️

This time, I wished to have a memorable scene from an AU I thought up and we created together - where The Smiling and Nightmare Critters are sailors and pirates, competing and searching for the rarest treasure on the open seas. Our OCs, Vivi and DeerDelight are beautiful legendary sea creatures, known as 'Mercritters'. And here, cooling down on deck after a sorely losing a card game, Icky happens to catch a rare sight of the elegant merdoe singing upon a rock under the full moonlight~🎶✨And he becomes truly enchanted by her beauty...enamoured, even...~💘 You can tell by her graceful image reflecting within his eyes, which doesn't compare to the shimmering stars or the light of the full moon reflecting in the water - which Ely has captured ever so exquisitely~!💖🥹💖 It was at that moment that Pirate!Icky knew that he had to- no...he MUST make that gorgeous merdoe all his, and only his. Winning her heart and treating her like the beautiful sea queen she was to him~💕

This scene was actually inspired by my fave Moomin (1990) episode (no. 53, one of the episodes I remember the most from my childhood) - 'The Water Nymph', where Sniff was captivated by the nymph herself🤭

As promised to my dear sweet sis, @x-elyssa-x, I was more than happy to upload another wonderful commission she did for me~💖🤗 Featuring my newest SC ship, DeerDelight x Nightmare Critter - Icky Licky for the Playtime High AU ☺️ She and I have been RPing a lot of Smiling Critters and Nightmare Critters lately (still HUGE Trolls fans, don't worry~😉) and they've really grown on us, especially with Simon Smoke, Rabie Baby and Poe being her faves. And Icky Licky being mine (since I've always liked frogs) 🤭 I can see Icky really crushing and falling for Dee hard while she felt strongly for DogDay. 🚗 Car Update + Sketch Gifts Info 💖

Hey everyone! I wanted to finally share a proper update now that things have finally settled enough to breathe again.

We officially have a working and safe vehicle again—yay! 🎉 The car came back from the shop on Monday and is running well. It’s such a relief to have it repaired and back home, and just in time for the upcoming school year.

The final cost ended up just above our updated Ko-fi goal (about $1500), as it turned out to be more than just the brakes. The back wheel bearings also needed replacing. Thankfully, my other brother-in-law was able to take the car to his hometown and work with a mechanic friend who helped get the repairs done at a much more affordable price. Even more generously, he covered the full cost upfront so we could make interest-free payments to him over time.

Thanks to the donations I’ve received through Ko-fi, I’ve already been able to pay him a good chunk, which has taken an enormous weight off our shoulders. Seriously, to everyone who’s donated, shared, or encouraged us—thank you. 💕

It’s still something we’re paying off, but now we can do it at our own pace, without stress hanging over us. That alone is a huge relief.

💌 What This Means Moving Forward

I’ve updated the Ko-fi goal description to reflect that we’re now paying things off gradually.

Okay, ever since I saw this Broppy moment in TBT, I just HAD to redraw it - Coossy style!🧁🦋 I've been wanting to for a while. It's one of my fave Broppy scenes, and it felt very fitting for Cooper and I~😊Words cannot express how much I truly, madly, deeply love my precious Prince of Funk, my special boi and lovable goofball...~💗😌Just like Broppy here~💙🙌🏼🩷 I could see Coopy in Poppy's pose and me and in Branch's pose, and I am dead chuffed with how it all turned out - especially with the expressions being totally spot-on!🤩Woo-hoo!!✨✊🏻

What’s Been Going On + Art Updates Soon

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind—between extended family drama and my car finally becoming too unsafe to drive, it’s just been a lot. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and trying to find my footing again, so while I haven’t been very active, I really appreciate everyone’s patience with me.

🚗 Car Situation: We finally got a temporary fix today—my brother-in-law’s parents are kindly lending us a vehicle while we save up for repairs.

My car isn’t really worth fixing (it’s old and has super high mileage), but trying to find someone willing to work with us to get a new or used one has been a whole battle. So for now, this is the best solution we’ve got.

🎨 Ko-fi Sketch Goal: I’ve been planning to set up a Ko-fi goal for a while, and this feels like the right time. Heres a link to the full post, but here’s a quick summary: I’m offering sketches as a thank-you for donations of $5 or more. I’ll be transparent throughout the process and post updates on Ko-fi as the car situation progresses.
