the orchid we know & love.. back on tour. how dope! orchid released their three albums from the years 1999-2002, over 20 years later they are still one of the most influential bands to people everywhere.

genre wise orchid could be considered hardcore, screamo, power violence, emo, emoviolence, grind.. list goes on.

no matter the genre, the thing orchid does the best is inspire bands to bloom throughout all of these genres. from old school punks to skramz kids, people of all representations love orchid.

orchid as a band puts their all into their songs. using music as a way of reflecting the worst struggles is something they do well. we each listen to orchid & come up with our own meanings / feelings behind each song. whether it be anger or sadness, we all connect through the music. we each are inspired & feel a little less alone after each song

Sinema in Seattle

sinema on tour w onewaymirror!! from this summer!

i didn’t listen to sinema much before seeing them live (regrettable) but after seeing them i instantly became obsessed. i now know all of their lyrics & constantly listen to them + watch their live sets. their stage presence is amazing & they know how to get people moving for sure!

need to know. what made you choose to join tumblr ??

i’m trying to get away from meta platforms! i used to be super active on instagram but i recently logged out of my accounts as i noticed my screen time going up & my mental health getting worse. tumblr also has a lot more sense of community to me, i feel very safe on this app while on insta i felt constantly judged!

was talking to my gf about my fear of dying young for being trans and my mom putting my deadname on my gravestone, and she said "i hope that never happens, but if it does, i will carve your name into your grave myself if i have to." and i think theres something extremely raw about that sentiment and trans community in general. you can kill only our bodies, but you cant kill transsexuality
