Kultistka has gone through many changes throughout her life, both external and internal. Not all of them were painless, but most ended up having a positive impact on her. These days, she is much calmer and more confident.

You can consider this a continuation of that post! The relationship between these two killers keeps developing… Have I mentioned that Piranha has a rather unconventional way of thinking? :D
These two are pretty questionable, and their relationship isn't exactly healthy, so I’ll probably start tagging every post with them as TW just to be safe

I wasn’t satisfied with the ambiguity regarding sizes in Wings of Fire, so as part of my AU reimagining, I sketched out this chart. It ended up being something like a middle ground between a normal world and one adjusted for dragons. Yes, the animals are large, but not so large that humans couldn’t exist in this world.
Also, in my version of the canon, humans are closer to the Stone Age than the Middle Ages. Dragons perceiving them as unintelligent creatures doesn’t really fit with things like castles and catapults. To dragons, humans are just curious little animals. And even in theory, humans wouldn’t be able to communicate with dragons — their vocal ranges are different, their throats are built differently, and in the dragon language, body language sometimes plays a more important role than the sounds themselves.
Anyway, we’ll talk more about the dragon language and its variations some other time.
But going back to the sizes — I can say that insects are the same size as in our world. Passerines are also the same. Pheasants too. Other bird groups are larger. As for the fish, there aren’t many overlaps with our world — the dragon world has its own species. There are both human-sized fish and gigantic ones. Reptiles and amphibians are mostly the same as in our world, but there are also some giant species that exist only in the world of Wings of Fire.
Young dragonets are a tasty snack for predators. Eagles in the Sky Kingdom are large enough to regularly snatch away careless, lone dragonets. So dragons tend to keep their young close.

"Mom, Dad, how did you meet?" Well, I’ve already told you about my version of the Wings of Fire lore — now it’s time to introduce the main characters.
Araneus is a HiveWing aristocrat with a mocking, sadistic personality. He was exiled from Pantala, as even his own kind found his treatment of the SilkWings excessively cruel.
Piranha is a SkySeaWing hybrid with unusual thinking and a nasty habit of smashing her victims’ heads.
At first, Araneus marked Piranha as his next victim and tried to approach her with the intent to kill. But he changed his mind when he found out she was also a killer — and then became genuinely interested in getting to know her.

This was supposed to be something like a fake poster. On the left, we have the trio of Cultist's main followers, and on the right, Narinder's apprentices. At the center of all this chaos are these two—similar yet different at the same time.
Due to frequent contact with Nari, the Cultist not only acquired some of Narinder's external traits but also began adopting his habits, expressions, gestures, and even some of his views on life. Over the course of her training, she became somewhat more composed, less wild, and more thoughtful.

A brief conversation with a close follower—all so that I could mention one amusing fact: the Cultist has no highlights in her eyes, just like Narinder.
This is because they both have already died once. Living beings find the Cultist’s gaze creepy and unsettling—they catch a sort of Uncanny Valley effect and attribute it to the influence of the Red Crown's power, without even suspecting that there’s more to it. The Cultist has some other "deathly" quirks as well—I've even talked about some of them.

"So, I will die. And Narinder doesn’t even really try to hide it. After I kill all four Bishops, I am supposed to obediently lay my head before his blade. And all of this… was only to die. Again"
After her death and during her second life, the Cultist developed an amusing habit—when she lies on her back, she instinctively crosses her arms over her chest, settling into a sort of corpse-like pose.

Alastor makes some demonic sounds (actually just regular deer sounds, but have you ever heard a deer scream? It's creepy), and Charlie mimics him. He's so surprised that he even lost his monocle, and I only noticed it while writing this text

Graduation from the Boarding School. A thrilling and significant time for the young citizens of IPC. A moment when they must decide where to go in life, where to live, and with whom.
Let's focus on that last part.
Since the war-era days of IPC, communal housing has been a widespread cultural norm. Communal living—accessible to all—unites people, blurring the line between simple camaraderie and family. After all, it was common for a single apartment to house companions bound by shared interests, hardships, or ideals.
Many years ago, IPC dismantled the traditional family structure of parents, grandparents, and children. Yet, the need for familial unity never disappeared. Communal housing became the new symbol of family.
Standardly equipped communal residences are distributed to all boarding school graduates as a matter of course. Young citizens receive flyers detailing the size of the housing and the number of sleeping places. If they and their companions act quickly enough, they can secure a home where they can live side by side with familiar beings from their childhood. However, some choose to rely on random allocation and deliberately ignore the registration stage for available communal housing.
Some eventually outgrow communal living and move into private apartments, which are also available in IPC. Yet, a significant portion of the population prefers the communal family life, usually consisting of 2 to 4 beings.
Turbo and Tune, housemates who managed to secure a two-person communal apartment during their boarding school years, have lived together in it for about 7–8 years.

Yes, Charlie can transform into a creepy mix of a goat and a snake (since her father is a snake and her mother is a goat). But she doesn’t want to. She prefers her cuter form, patience, modesty, and diplomacy. After all, that’s how a good girl should behave—one who will surely get into Heaven if she tries really, really hard.
But no worries, I think Alastor will teach her that diplomacy works best when others respect and fear you, knowing that you can actually retaliate—not just turn the other cheek for another strike.
