Wow I DID NOT expect for this fic to get to over 1 k especially since I didn't try super hard on it. It was just a blurbo I written out at like 2 am i plan to try and be more active and write more fics so <3

Miguel was definitely not for everyone. He was harsh, judgemental, a workaholic, stubborn, and sarcastic. But he was just for you. You were so head over heels for him it was a bit embarrassing, but what was more embarrassing was the fact Lyla the AI was able to recognize your feelings for Miguel better than he could. Trying to get him to pay attention to you now was like mission impossible.

He was so focused about Miles and the Spot he hadn’t even slept for days and he was barely remembering to eat. And when he did eat, it wasn’t like how he typically would, instead he'd just pick. It was ironic how he was only in his late 20s but had the weight of the world on his broad shoulders that were tensed from the stress he under gown through on a daily basis. Miguel was still blind to your affection, even when you came up to him and rubbed his shoulders to help the knots in his back to relax and bring him food 3 times a day. You'd try guiding his attention away from the hologram where he'd rewatch videos of him and the daughter that was never truly his.

It wasn't until you had enough trying to wait for him to notice your feelings after months of giving painfully obvious hints, this time when you served him a Empanada from the kitchen since that seemed to be the only thing he'd eat willingly. Then again, there wasn't much you could do when he's 6'9 and pure muscle. Being stronger than the average Spider-Man, which was intimidating for anyone who actually had a will to live.

"Hey Miguel" You hummed as he didn't respond, his eyebrows knitted and his typical scowl was on his face all while he watched a video of him and his precious Gabriela. "Te echo mucho de menos mi amor..." He muttered with a heavy sigh as his shoulders slouched as they would carrying the weight they did.

You knew he was addressing the video, but decided to carry out with your plan as you leaned over carefully to his broad body and as you typically rubbed his shoulder for a moment before leaving, you planted a sot kiss onto his cleanly shaved cheek making him snap out of his self loathing thoughts and look at you with his typical demeanor gone and just big brown eyes full of utter shock.

"Did you just....?" Miguel began before his eyes went to look at your lips and then back to you, only for you to hesitantly nod while chewing the inside of your cheek to wait for his response.

The air was thick with tension, was he angry? He couldn’t be, he looked to be more in shock. As you braced yourself for rejection from the man he instead pressed his chapped lips against your own, this kiss carrying much more emotion in it. It was gentle at first but turned more passionate, much more tender with compassion as you finally pulled away to breath, a string of saliva connecting the two of you as you both panted.

"How have you felt this way....?" Miguel asked in a soft tone, his usually sharp eyes being much more softer as he held onto you.

"For a while Miguel... maybe you should’ve just paid more attention..." You muttered as you cupped his cheeks.

He sighed and leaned into your hand before admitting defeat for once in his life, "You may just be right..."
