I can totally see him being like this with his daughters in my version (yes, daughters-plural, because he and Lucy have 4 kids: 2 girls and 2 boys).
Just thinking about how Natsu is such a girl dad and would spoil his daughter with whatever she wants and Lucy being the one to try not letting Natsu go to overboard with buying things

Yeah, but I bet she was also thinking that he didn't reciprocate.

If someone told me that they believed Lucy started to have feelings for Natsu as far back as the OS arc I wouldn’t even question them? Her blushing the second Natsu thanks her here with this specific expression has no other reason to it

We live in the dumbest, lamest cyberpunk dystopia possible.
So LA has been — and continues to — protest against ICE. These protests haven’t gotten any smaller or lost any momentum, but social media wasn’t reflecting it.
TikTok users, realizing that the platform/other social media are censoring/deleting/shadowbanning these protest videos, decided to find a workaround.
They’re calling it the LA Music Festival. Ice detention centers and other protest locations are “stages.” The hottest band is Rage Against the Machine. “Here’s what gear you should be bringing to stay safe at the LA Music Festival.”
And it fucking worked.
TikTok has become a proving ground for a lot of new music, meaning lots of labels and organizations have lucrative deals with TikTok to promote their new artists and music festivals. So they absolutely cannot censor the words “music festival” or train the algorithm to ignore it, or they risk endangering that very important revenue.
So now protest videos are flooding feeds again, but it’s the LA 24/7 Music Festival. Truly an incredible timeline we’ve landed in.

I just need a little more help.
My Mom and I have been struggling for a while because we don't have a car to get around anymore. We've been trying to find ways to get one, but some of them have either fallen short or just won't work because we don't have enough money.
It's been really hard for my Mom and me. If you can't donate, at least spread this around so that people will know.
Here's the link to my Ko-fi so you can donate. Even a little bit helps us out.
Thank you and God bless you.
#need help#ko-fi support#I really just want my Mom to get a car so that we can get around#I don't wanna ask my Grandma#and I can't ask my cousin#she only gets one day off a week

All I can say is...
Yes. Yes to all of this.
Morality - Erza thoughts
I think one of my favorite underrated aspects of Erza's character, especially early on, is how different her sense of morality is when compared to most ft members. Fairy tail is a guild built almost exclusively of people who follow their own heart above all else, they all have their own sets of morals and won't let anyone stop them from doing what they believe is right. The most extreme example is Natsu, but the principle remains the same for almost all of them.
Erza stands out to me because while all the others have an internal set of morals that let them decide right/wrong, Erza's sense of justice is almost entirely based around the guild itself. In her mind, what's right and what's good for the guild are one in the same, hence why she's so strict about Fairy tails rules while her concern for actual laws only extends as far as they effect the guild. Not to say she doesn't have any of her own morals at all, just that the guild is a massive factor in how she sees the world.
The guild is always her top priority and that means, for better or worse, she has a tendency to value it above all else.
She will put everything on the line to protect her family and proves that over and over again, but at the same time, she's not unwilling to kill/seriously injure people or do other less then ethical things if she deems it necessary because to her its justified by being for the sake of the guild. This causes tension between her and Gray on Galuna when she values the rules of the guild over objectively more important things, forcing her to reevaluate her sense of right and wrong.

Its a very black and white way of thinking but I think it makes a lot of sense for her as a character flaw when you consider her history. Erza grew up in an extremely violent environment where right and wrong was not always clear. Kindness was not rewarded and if she didn't focus all her energy on looking out for herself and her circle exclusively, they would not survive. Fairy tail was the first place to show Erza even a shred of human decency, she might not always know what's right but Fairy tail is her home and she will do anything to protect it. It's a part of her character I really like because it can have some really negative implications depending on the situation.
I think this is most obvious when comparing her to Knightwalker, because unlike the other Edolas counter parts, Scarlet and Knightwalker really aren't that different. Lucy said her Erza would never harm a defenseless person, but that's not entirely accurate. I don't think Scarlet would be dropping people off rooftops or anything, but she has gone on record threatening to chop off somebody's limbs for the sake of saving Makarov. Idk if she would have gone through with it or nah, but the point still stands. Erza Knightwalker is essentially a more extreme reflection of Erza Scarlet's pre-development self, Knightwalker is terrified of being powerless which is what drives her to doing what she does and she justifies all of her actions with her cause.

The major difference between them is where their loyalties lie. Erza Scarlet would never go to the same lengths Knightwalker does because she aligned herself with Fairy tail, a positive enviroment that encourages kindness, but Its still easy to see how she might have turned out different had she given her loyalty to less morally sound people. I really like knightwalker as a villain because she both showcases just how far Erza has come since season 1 and forces her to confront the part of herself that might have done the same under different conditions.

As Erza's worldview evolves, we also see that it isn't always necessarily a bad thing. Erza's prioritization of the guild is sometimes selfish, but its also part of what makes her a good leader. It mean's she is capable of making difficult decisions and she's willing to put her own feelings aside to do what's best for everyone. The scene where Jellal is arrested is one I like a lot because its perfectly in line with what Erza would have done.

Erzas attachment to Jellal at this point is not a healthy one, she nearly dies in toh because him acting like his old self for a fraction of a second was enough to make her lose all her nerve. Now she finally feels like she has him back after all this time and she's about to lose him forever once again.
Obviously, she's against him being arrested, but looking at this logically his amnesia does not negate everything he did and, on top of that, what would have happened if they had won? Now they're on the run with a wanted mass murderer from a government that knows exactly who they are and who they work for. Best case scenario is the guild gets disbanded, worst is everyone she loves rots in prison for the rest of their lives.
Its not an easy decision to make, but when faced with her own feelings or the safety of the guild Erza will always choose the guild no matter what, even if it hurts her deeply to do so. I like this because it highlights that Erza's struggle is not that her worldview is objectively wrong, its finding a balance between protecting what you love and doing what's right for others. It's one of the more complex struggles she has and easily one of my favorite aspects of her character.
I wanted to talk about this a bit because I think this is something people tend to miss. I think people really get wrapped up in the whole "lawful good knight" thing she's got going on but then miss out on a lot of the humanity she has to offer. That's always kind of a shame to me because personally, my favorite things about her are the ways in which her image and true character diverge, both positively and negatively. Im not gonna get into that because then we'll be here all day, but anyway, rant over.
I heart Erza Scarlet.

The irony of this new breed of self-righteous AI hunters on AO3 is that they're all just copy and pasting peoples fics into AI detectors, which are all operated by AI and therefore THEY are feeding people's work into the algorithm without their consent and in some cases no doubt circumventing the locks people put on to avoid getting scraped...
Don't copy and paste anyone's AO3 work into third party websites, you're not the good guys in this situation?

My biggest goal: to see my comic get published.
My comic, Lorune, has reached over 50 subscribers on WebToon Canvas, and I gotta be honest, I didn't think it would do as well as it has, right now.
My biggest dream is to see that one day, it gets published into a physical comic so that people over the world can read it, too. I want to share this story with the world and maybe see if it inspires others.
It may take a while, but I believe it can happen.

For those reading Lorune so far...
I'd like to hear your honest thoughts about it. Is the story interesting? Are the characters engaging to you? Who's your favorite so far and why?
Also, if you're interested in reading it, you can read it here on WebToon Canvas!

"…Wrap this up for me" 👇 At a certain place and time, in a coffee shop known only to connoisseurs, There was Shadow, carefully selecting hand-picked roasted beans with a blissful expression 🦔
In a uniquely serene space where only the bare minimum of sounds can be heard, a faintly sweet yet bitter aroma fills the counter seat of the heart ☕️ #sonicpict
