As always, I'm sharing a high res pdf for standard A4-sized paper so you can print this zine yourself!

Lil #wip of a new video in the works for my YouTube Channel. I’ll be trying out portraiture with my new Ohuhu alcohol markers, so anyone interested in getting some for themselves or hearing if I’d recommend them or not should stay tuned or come check my channel out in the weeks to come.

Some ice cream sundae concept sketches for possible upcoming stickers once my online shop opens. I might make a full process video rendering these in my sketchbook for anyone interested. I’m currently finishing up filming studio vlogs of some portraits I’ve been working on, so stay tuned for those on my YouTube channel. I’m debating over finishing these up with gouache or my new Ohuhu alcohol markers. What do you think?

A fun little portrait of the lovely @thegothicsprite on IG from one of my sketchbook sessions from a while back. I had a lot of fun playing around with my Copic gasenfude brush pen for this piece, and highly recommend giving it a try if you wanna experiment with brush pens in your lineart or artwork, especially if you work with alcohol markers and fineliners. A little puppy love this Valentine’s Day 💕 Practicing puppy portraits to prepare for accepting pet portraits in the future. Maybe expect some more doodles of dogs in the days to come 👀

Some funky lil camera studies with my new Ohuhu alcohol markers, a wine Copic multiliner, and my favorite gel pen, the Uni-Ball Signo DX/UM-151 in 0.38 mm. Love this pen to death and wish more fineliners came in this color. I’ll be reviewing my Ohuhu 128-color set on my YouTube channel soon, so anyone interested can check out my channel in the weeks to come. I had a lot of fun doing this limited palette study and highly recommend picking only two or three colors and drawing something if you’re currently stuck in a slump of artist’s block 😉

Thought I’d share some redraws of two of my portrait practice sketches from just over a year ago today. Really happy to see the progress I’ve made with drawing digitally, but that’s only motivating me to make more ambitious goals for the new year. This is a sign for anyone who needs it to keep making art, even if you think it isn’t any good. You. Will. Improve. And don’t feel the need to always make it perfect. No one improves from never making any mistakes.

I’ll be making videos on my YouTube channel where I’ll be finishing these portraits up with my new Arrtx alcohol markers, ink, gel pen, and colored pencils, so anyone interested in seeing the full illustration process should stay tuned or subscribe there.

This is your sign to get out of your comfort zone and try to study something new in your art, cause I have too much fun trying to break hair into repeated shapes and brushstrokes to not encourage others into trying it themselves.
